01/11/2025: The Western Saloon tries to look like a sanctuary. A place where you can forget the world, drink yourself warm, and laugh a little too loudly. But behind the rustic charm and the tinkling tones of country music, another reality is hidden: A place where people come to escape from themselves. The raw atmosphere is not real – it is a mask. You can feel that many are wearing invisible armor: men who speak loudly to drown out the silence inside, and women who play along to feel strong in a room that does not feel safe. There is something sad about the Western Saloon. Like a theater that was once full of life, but now only plays on because no one dares to turn off the lights. Because behind the cowboy atmosphere lies an echo of loneliness – and a silent cry to be seen, without having to play a role. Some places make noise to hide the emptiness. The Western Saloon is one of them.

23/09/2025: I've never had such a bad burger. Homemade steak. Maybe. But it was dry and chewy, despite being nicely red inside. It looked like it had been microwaved. Totally inedible.

19/09/2025: We were looking forward to eating at your place tonight, but we were greeted at the door by a ‘we are only open for drinks - we have closed the kitchen because there has been no one there all day’!! It was 7:35 pm so we expected it to be open. Poop, but luckily we found an open restaurant, further along the harbor 😉

14/08/2025: Service was nice but the Deli Special was a big disappointment, the strawberry smoothie also tasted quite watered-down

24/07/2025: Good cozy place. Service and management were top. The food and drinks were with good taste. The prices were a bit expensive.

16/06/2025: The pizza only tastes like tomato sauce, it doesn't matter how much toppings you put on it. Extremely boring. Also ordered a pasta bolognese once, got a lasagna...

14/11/2025: Incredibly bad. After a change of ownership. They should drop the grill chain. And only serve Thai food. We couldn't get a homemade burger. And they didn't have bacon for the ordinary burger either. Since I also got rid of 199 for 2 burgers and a tray of fries. But I was only given a burger and fries. And had to discuss that it didn't fit either. Then had to wait for them to make another burger, while the other one got cold... The buns were barely warm and the most shoddy burger no onions either. But slathered in ketchup. That was probably the last time.

12/12/2025: Disgraceful to serve me this pizza no meat and the salad is brown I could not believe it either I call the restaurant and the laidy said I’ll make new one I said clearly I want my money back I will not even serve my enemy this sh*t pizza. And the restaurant smelled bad I’m sorry for my honest review

23/10/2025: I am deeply disappointed by what I experienced with my girlfriend, on a nice Thursday evening (d23.10.25) The staff - a woman, handled cash and then food without washing her hands. We saw this happen 6 times in the hour we were there. It is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of respect for basic hygiene rules. In a time when food safety should be a given, it is shocking to see such careless handling of customers' health. - I am amazed at how a place can boast of an Elite smiley... I completely lost trust in the place and can in no way recommend others to eat there. Get a grip on hygiene (.. take the course again)

20/11/2025: We got a pizza with Nduja and one with potato. The potato was completely undercooked/raw, and when we asked for another pizza we were told it was just a shame. They were finally persuaded to put it in the oven a little longer, which didn't get much better. The Nduja pizza was good though.

02/11/2025: I lived in New York for many years and was disappointed with the quality of pizza upon moving to Denmark. Otto is in my opinion, the best Pizza place in Denmark. The Lunch deal is an excellent compromise, their speed is notable and the overall food quality is superb. I would reccomend Otto, specifically the Lunch Deal to anyone looking for a good pizza.

07/06/2025: Visitamos el Snag en el aeropuerto de Conpenhague. Buenas ensaladas y la criada con la ensalada (foccacia) suave y sabrosa. Buena opción para elegir nuestra ensalada. Buen servicio. Bastante caro pero sabroso

06/05/2025: I've been eating their salads for almost a decade and have obviously been a huge fan. However, the last few years their prices have skyrocketed, while the boxes have become smaller and less full. Although they are still delicious salads, with the latest price hike I can no longer recommend them. I really have to buy 1.5-2 portions for more than 100kr each to get full.

14/03/2026: I was at Little Italy this morning and had their brunch, and I can definitely recommend it! The food was really good with a really good selection, and I was really full. The atmosphere in the restaurant was super cozy, and all the waiters were smiling and friendly. I will definitely be back soon.

13/11/2025: Extremely tasty roast pork sandwich - with tender and juicy meat, crispy skin and excellent (probably homemade) red cabbage

30/05/2025: Absolutely terrible. The hotel is being renovated while remaining open, and the breakfast (booked as included through Booking.com) is practically fraud, as it's completely different from what was advertised. Instead of a buffet breakfast, for example, you get a three-spoon portion of porridge and a coffee, and then you have to pay extra on top of the included price. The room is constantly noisy during the day because the rooms next door are being renovated. The hotel management offers no compensation whatsoever. I would never book here again. The staff, however, were all friendly, which doesn't really help much in the end.

29/05/2025: Service only marked down due to their refurbishment which wasn't quite finished, but we knew all along and there were no surprises. Our room was clean and dust free although the corridor smelt of paint. Coffee and tea didn't look to be available in reception but it all looks to be fabulous once finished in early June 2026 I'm guessing.

23/07/2025: Frida and Salomensen are the best bartenders in Aarhus. Give them a visit, it's worth it!
