20/10/2025: There were 4 of us on a Saturday evening during the autumn holidays. We hadn't booked a table, so there was a bit of a wait before we got a table. The food was really good at a reasonable price. 199kr for a wiener schnitzel. The atmosphere was also good, even though they were busy. Which meant we had to wait a bit long to pay. Only 4 stars for that.

19/10/2025: If you value your soul and taste buds, don't go here. You'll end up looking like a lifeless soul without taste buds to the other customers and staff. It's not worth your money.

29/08/2025: The restaurant opened for the weekend where they advertised that they had gotten hold of some super good Angus meat and therefore offered a 2-course menu. We booked a table for Friday evening at 7 pm. When we arrived we were told we could only order pizza…… Told why we were there and what they were advertising. She wanted to ask in the kitchen but never came back and just served other tables and we could then stand and stare. We therefore chose to leave. I can also see that the owner himself has made a 5-star review and lots of praise for his own restaurant on TripAdvisor 2 days ago!!!!!!

29/12/2025: I think it was fantastic. They provide less options in their open buffet and that actually make their food better in comparison to other places that I have visited. Very satisfied with my visit today. The food tasted amazing. The only no-go was the cooked vegetables. They looked defrosted.. But otherwise great!

13/12/2025: It’s CLOSED 😡😡😡. Online it’s showing open . Also it did confirm my booking but when I reached the place then I found it was closed.

11/10/2025: I bought a large brownie cake on brownie day, and it was nothing short of miserable! The dough was dry and chewy, and the filling on top had a really weird consistency, with indefinable lumps in it. A really annoying treat to serve to your guests 😒 I'm speechless that you would be the one to know - it does fit in well with the fact that for Lagkagehuset, a high return is more important than the craftsmanship itself 🤷🏼‍♀️

09/10/2025: If anyone is planning to order here in advance — especially for events or cakes — I strongly recommend not to. Customer service = 0. This was my first time using Click & Collect, and it was honestly a disaster. I placed a Click & Collect order at Lagkagehuset for 17:30. When I arrived on time, my order wasn’t there — two girls seemed confused, said the item was sold out, and simply offered me “something else” from what was left (which, to put it mildly, was almost nothing). I didn’t receive any apology, explanation, or refund of the price difference. This is absolutely unacceptable for a prepaid order. Click & Collect loses its entire purpose if the order isn’t ready on time. The staff’s attitude left a very unpleasant impression.

03/12/2025: This is the café I frequent because Nørreport is a popular meeting place. I don't have any particular issues with the pastries and sandwiches; they're good and fresh in my opinion. I'm addicted to their cinnamon/sugar brioche. By the way, I used to get a chai latte, but I'm going to stop because it gets too sweet. It must depend on the amount of powder used. As for the service, it's true that some of the waitresses could be friendlier, especially with tourists. I've experienced this here once and at other places as well. It's a shame!

11/11/2025: Delicious pastries. Excellent organic coffee. The place is very spacious and comfortable – you can linger over a cup of coffee and enjoy its flavor. It's worth stopping by and taking a breather.

03/03/2026: Really good pizza. It was made really fast, and it was a very good value for the price. The guy working was also nice.

03/03/2026: 5/5 stars! Perfect experience. Really delicious pizza, you know in that delicious, slightly “snappy” way. 😝 Not a fancy Copenhagen sourdough pizza, but the right kebab-salad-dressing-type pizza! And at good prices, around 70kr/piece. The pizzas were ready super quickly (after 15 min) and we experienced really good, friendly service! 100% we will be back 🙌☀️🌟

26/09/2025: Really boring brunch. Dried out scrambled eggs, dry pancakes with no flavor.

15/09/2025: Excellent buffet for the price. There is both grilled meat and salad buffet. There is also soft ice cream. Can be recommended.

16/08/2025: The food is tasty without being anything special. Nice cold draft beers and very friendly staff.

10/08/2025: For lunch we ordered fish fillet with salad and were given the choice between fries and rye bread. Nice to have a choice. The fish was deep fried but with thin breading and plenty of fish. Lovely rye bread with kernels and good fries. Cozy place on the harbor and sweet and quick service. Can be recommended.

24/02/2026: A classic pizzeria with all sorts of conceivable and unimaginable combinations of pizza toppings and much more. Friendly service and a good local read for tired evenings, when the kitchen at home gets a break and recovery at home can be prioritized.

05/02/2026: I've been a customer here for 14 years. The food is good and the staff is super friendly. ☺️

14/09/2025: I do not recommend this place in any way. There were only 4 other guests in the café A large window was open and we could clearly feel the people sitting outside smoking. Cigarette smoke came into the café My boyfriend was going to meet a friend And we came from Funen. So I did not have to sit at home and had to sit at the computer and work while they had fun. I was not allowed to sit at the computer I do not see that it was a nuisance that I sat quietly at the computer This is the last time we were here and recommend others to use this café

27/06/2025: Honestly... Service should be a subject they learned at the bar. Instead of having an attitude and saying in a very rude way "there's a sign here, the queue starts outside" and then slamming the sign down on the table. When you were supposed to see what beer they had. But hey we'll come back another day... Maybe the attitude has changed or the person has been on a course in good customer service and behavior

07/11/2025: (Norwegian tourist in Denmark) Ordered pulled pork burger. Good amount of meat but the meat was dry. The burger could have been good but there was so much BBQ sauce on it that you really didn't taste anything other than low quality sauce. Fries look good but are dry. Not salted but I suspect they use cinnamon. My wife ordered American steak. We don't understand what kind of animal the meat comes from but are afraid of cat pee. Asked for the meat Medium/raw, got shoe sole. The restaurant's concept may work but then the food needs to be significantly better. The reception and service were 100%, very nice man at work. Unfortunately we won't be back here.

23/10/2025: We've been going there regularly for three years, and it was always delicious. This time, everything just tasted bitter, like old low-fat oil. We had a chicken burger; my 12-year-old son didn't even eat half of it and had a stomach ache in the evening. It's not very busy either; we couldn't pay with a card; we had to hide it behind the wicker and look at our phones. It's a shame, but that was the last time we ate there.

13/07/2025: Paneer chilly and shrimp chilly were the best. It was perfect 🤩 evening outside sitting with delicious 🤤 food and sun ☀️ made our day. If you wish to have tasty 😋 delicious 🤤 food, highly recommend to everyone. I will come back soon🤗

17/09/2025: Terrible quality product defrost donuts and a funny mango refresher with a taste of a bit tea and water for 55kr(8€) perfect place where they will rob your money

05/08/2025: We waited a really long time for 2 donuts together with another woman because they had forgotten our orders the other woman got 2 extra donuts for free as an apology and we didn't get anything which is fine but everyone should get the same service

07/08/2025: Super delicious, juicy burgers with great flavor and delicious fries (bought off the menu), a definite recommendation if you want the best burger in Værløse at a fair price. The children's burger was a super good size.

21/12/2025: The atmosphere, premises and location are really good and very cozy. ☺️ The service, there was a mistake on the order and it was resolved quickly. The food, nothing extraordinary that I couldn't make myself in the kitchen. (Maybe even a little better)

20/12/2025: My boyfriend and I have been to this place for the fourth time. We always go there in the evening, so we've never tried the lunch, but we can definitely say that the burgers and pastas are delicious. We also had the same waiter for the second time we really like the service, so who it was on Friday December 19th, thank you so much for the wonderful service. Food was also very good. The portions are good relative to the price.
