11/02/2024: The picture of the appetizer speaks for itself, our visit to the Embassy on Fanø was out and out of the ordinary, really delicious food, where all senses are activated. Thank you for a lovely evening.

08/12/2023: En tallerkenanrettet, lidt twistet julemenu. Vi købte en, viste det sig, rigtig udmærket riesling dertil. Hyggeligt sted og venlig betjening. Vi fik en lille kande postevand til vinen. Det viste sig at være “vand ad libitum”, også selvom den ikke blev genopfyldt og kostede 48 kr - lige fresh nok, syn’s jeg. Vi kunne godt have været foruden jordskokke komposten, den komplimenterede overhovedet ikke de tynde skiver røget inderlår af “Bertels gris”.

11/08/2025: Lovely dinnerware. Good steaks in many sizes and with nice accessories.

26/04/2025: Taste-wise, the 300 gram Rib-eye steak was really good, but 100 grams of the steak was pure fat. The fries were cold and hard, the bearnaise sauce was cold and bland. The salad was dry and looked like something that had been sitting for a long time. Unfortunately, a bland meal for the high price.

14/09/2023: Stalden Café has definitely seen better days. The place and its surroundings are in a terrible state, and cleanliness leaves much to be desired. This was one of the reasons we decided against eating there/breakfast and were glad to move on after just one night. Therefore: Not recommended!

27/08/2023: We haven't been particularly impressed. The place is very messy and dirty. Especially what they call the restaurant. Dead flies on the windowsill and lots of cobwebs in the windows. Dirt in the sugar, salt and pepper jars filthy with dung. The waiter had many open wounds on his arms with fresh blood, it wasn't very nice to look at when he came in with the food without a bandage. The floor was filthy with dung. The one tourist magazine that was on the table for us was completely stuck together. The mugs had big chips in them. We were told that they had just cleaned before we came. The mixer tap had not been cleaned in any case, nor had the mirror.

23/07/2024: Large portions. Great selection. Food was good and hot. Worth a visit.

22/07/2024: We have eaten here before under previous owners and wanted to try again. The food was sublime. I had a champinon steak that was large and so tender you could cut it with a fork. Amazing champinon sauce. It won't be the last time!

17/09/2025: Fantastic dinner party with 12 people in a private setting. The food and wine went together perfectly.
