De bedste restauranter

13/07/2025: Mientras paseábamos por las coloridas calles de Nyhavn, nos entró hambre y quisimos probar algo verdaderamente Danés. Después de echar un vistazo a algunas mesas, rápidamente nos dimos cuenta de que el Smørrebrød era el camino a seguir, así que nos sentamos en el primer restaurante donde lo vimos servido. Pedí la versión de pescado, que era fresca y sabrosa, y mi esposo eligió los mejillones; estaba igualmente satisfecho con el sabor y el tamaño de la porción. Llegamos un poco temprano para almorzar, por lo que aún no había mucha gente, y el servicio fue bastante bueno: amable y eficiente. Como era de esperar en Copenhague, los precios eran algo elevados, especialmente en comparación con comidas similares en otras partes de Europa, pero eso es sólo parte de la experiencia en Dinamarca. En general, una parada encantadora para tomar un bocado clásico Danés .

02/07/2025: Gå inte dit! Jättedålig service. Det står att man kan köpa ett glas chablis vin, blev lurad, det var ett billigt vin som serverades ljummet! Skitigt porslin och gammalt läppstift på glasen. Usch!

02/09/2025: I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the Format Café inside the design museum in Copenhagen, Denmark. The café inside the Design Museum offers a selection of pastries. I tried the canelé, which was decent but not outstanding – the inside was nicely soft, but the outside lacked the crispness you’d expect, and it felt a bit too sugary, sticking slightly in the mouth. It’s fine for a quick bite if you’re really hungry while visiting the museum, but probably worth waiting to find something better nearby.

24/08/2025: This observation is after 3 separate times of using this restaurant during a period of 3 weeks. Terrible, terrible service with a very capital T. On this last visit, I waited for 40 minutes before being served. In this time I asked twice to be served and was fobbed off with a ‘my colleague will take your order’. During my wait time I noted this was a phrase used frequently by everyone attending in the restaurant! (And whilst everyone was super-polite, a 40-minute wait before being served is not acceptable). It’s also so easy to sort out the problem! There are several people serving in the restaurant at any one time: What does it take to ensure one person is dedicated to taking orders, or at least principally taking orders, especially at peak times such as lunch, afternoon tea etc. Is it that difficult to do???

18/05/2025: At Emmerys the price is fresh and top notch. Unfortunately their wieners are dry on Sunday mornings. The service is.... Ask for a long wiener to be wrapped so it can be transported and it will be thrown into a simple bag. You can then struggle to make it fit into a paper bag with a handle and completely different size and shape.

15/05/2025: A really cool cafe. Stylish and comfortable. Good facilities for charging one's phone and for browsing the internet. The coffee was fine and the rhubarb pastry was absolutely delicious. A nice area outside that seemed very popular. We went. there every morning of our stay.

23/05/2025: Bought a durum chicken with their “snack basket” which looks very inviting but…. First bite of the durum I could taste it was a tortilla bought from the net, and the whole thing was just loosely put together, so it all fell apart, the chicken and the contents were “okay” But then when I opened the snack basket you were just welcomed to a round of soggy onion rings, squid rings, and then what was supposed to be curly fries, but ended up being the worst potato slices this earth has ever seen, absurdly dry taste, almost wet. And it didn’t help that the packaging on it was all completely wet inside. Would not recommend this place.

06/02/2025: Slightly burnt shawarma, way too many fries – and a shawarma sandwich shouldn’t have fries at all! The worst shawarma I’ve ever had. He even forgot to add mayonnaise, which is an essential part of a shawarma sandwich. I made him aware that I wasn’t satisfied, but he didn’t offer to take it back or give me a replacement.

08/08/2025: Over 25 minutes of waiting = cold burger. Fries were reasonable as they were lukewarm. The 2 clerks were busy and had completely lost track.

30/05/2025: Terribly long, I mean terribly long, wait for 2 boba teas. So far we've been standing here for about half an hour, and the girls just look confused to say the least. It would have been faster to drive into town and get boba tea.

18/08/2025: I bought an espresso-based coffee drink. It was served with coffee grounds on the edge of the cup and too much milk in it. The milk had a nice consistency, but this was quickly dominated by a rancid coffee taste, probably due to lack of cleaning for a long time. The service was okay, and you can easily find a sunny spot if you're lucky with the weather, but for the reasons above, I'm unlikely to find my way here again.

26/07/2025: "Holmes Bakery & Café is a family business, dating back three generations. It began in the dawn of history, specifically in 1976 with the famous bakery Marstrand in Kopmagergade, Copenhagen. We are very proud of our traditions, and our nut cakes are among those that have stood the test of time. They have remained in our stores for over 25 years." I ordered them by chance, and when I researched them, they turned out to be something special. They contain almonds and hazelnuts, and they contain no gelatin.

04/08/2025: Closed with no information about opening hours. Looked deserted.

27/05/2025: Really good sushi, fresh and not too long a wait from ordering to delivery.

25/04/2025: One of my goto-sushi joint that I frequently visit. Lot to be said. The Sushi is really good. Needs a tad more attentive waiter. Havent tried their ramen yet. Only dining for Sushi here. The ambience inside the restaurant is good. Good place for takeaway as well. Snacks included in the bag. Well done. Will come here again.

22/09/2025: For quick food. Good enough. Especially Thai Box, or whatever you call them. Service poor. Long long wait. Especially when there are other customers.

08/07/2025: Waste of money, will never come again, have never experienced such poor service, called at 4:00 PM and ordered, and were told we could pick up at 5:20 PM, 1½ hours later (it should be said that they didn't open until 4:00 PM. Came as agreed, the food wasn't ready and had to wait another 15 minutes, that's what it was. But, but, have never had such bad and smelly food, smelled sour, bad and of vinegar. Cauliflower as big as a tomato, huge mushrooms that were soft and overcooked, and not cut into pieces, really unappetizing. The rice was good, the rest went straight into the trash, was inedible. It's 2 different dishes, once happy family, and once fried rice. Too bad, it was really good once years ago.

27/08/2025: I went there with my mom and we had double up on cakes. They were absolutely delicious. Same for their sandwiches which we bought for home.

22/08/2025: When you come for coffee, the staff talk bad about me and then they laugh at me, so I tell them to stop. When it's a boy, he talks about sex. I don't buy coffee anymore. The guy in the picture has complained to the staff, they should be nice to me. I think he was my friend, he's not.

28/09/2025: We were a party celebrating a birthday yesterday. The food was good enough, but a guest dropped a portion of ice cream, and then a waiter came and only wiped up a little of it, and the rest she said that the cleaning would have to take place later! There was also a lot of trash on the floor over by the ice cream machine that you, as an elderly person, could slip/fall into… One of our guests also fell down the step they have at the back of the room, and lay on the floor for a long time to recover. Not exactly a place I would recommend to others.

07/09/2025: I've never had a beef tenderloin that was supposed to be medium rare that was completely cooked through, dry and half cold. Probably one of the biggest disappointments I've ever had to eat in my life, scandal!

25/06/2025: I’ve been here several times. Many times if I can see it, I usually count along, with the staff preparing my bucket of wings. I once had a “Manager” warn that person handling my food” oh look he’s counting with you” I heard what he said and I replied to the Manager “I did count yes, because your staff don’t know how to count to 14! Is it a crime to count from the other side? This place needs a better clean up! Floor is sticky and trashy.

16/08/2025: Specifically for my last visit I got really good service but the tea leaves were burnt (so they were bitter) and the cinnamon rolls were "not delivered" and that was a let down. Really good cardamom rolls.

09/07/2025: Very very tasty cakes, which you can't find anywhere else. Thank you very much for the pleasure you brought. Life is so short. You need to take advantage of the opportunity to experience pleasure as often as possible. Excellent friendly and nice service. I wish you to keep it up and only success.
