13/10/2025: That's a really misleading picture hanging on their door. We paid over 300 kr for a combo and soda. It was the thinnest and most tasteless burger I've ever had.
01/08/2025: The food and drinks were quite average in terms of taste, and we were happy to pay for them. However, it felt like the staff were not very welcoming or service-minded. The cashier, in particular, may not be well-suited for a customer-facing role.

05/12/2025: Had ordered two pizzas and crispy chicken menu. When the food arrives my soda is missing from the menu. I am then told it is a mistake in the menu, as it is old - but should call the restaurant. Again, I am told it is an old menu, but I can get it - they are busy though and it will take some time (still not received here 45min later). Bad service.
Also the fries were cold.
This is the last time we will order from them. The service has completely disappeared.
23/10/2025: Ordered a regular pizza for 97kr and got a kids pizza and before I could catch them he had slipped away it was maybe stupid of me to order there again for the 3rd time but wanted to give them a chance but it's the same bad crappy service and then you don't get what you order you should fucking report to the police you are a complete scam you have been removed from my list

10/07/2025: All the other negative reviews should tell you enough about this place. I am another disgruntled customer dissatisfied with their service. 2 hour wait and no food. Avoid at all costs.
03/07/2025: Not only did it take over an hour for one of my pizzas to be delivered, I got the wrong order. I had ordered without tomato sauce and then with mascarpone instead but it was with tomato sauce.. not only that, the middle of the pizza was completely wet and separated from the pizza, when it was wet the pizza tray itself was also wet and was about to fall off when I lifted it and then the ham had the strangest color. One last thing was that I had asked them not to knock since it was late and just leave the order outside the door.. they knocked hard on the door anyway.

08/11/2025: I witnessed a really unpleasant situation in Espresso House City2.
An employee had forgotten my friend's order, and when she calmly and somewhat jokingly asked if she could have an extra shot as compensation, the employee reacted very provocatively and started arguing.
When my friend left with her coffee, the employee's sister suddenly came in from outside and shouted at her - it felt completely unsafe and absurd, as if the café was run by a family feud. I was left speechless.
Really bad experience and very unprofessional handling. I hope the management takes it seriously.

02/08/2025: The worst restaurant I've ever been to in my life. I only ate one bite of my spaghetti and left.
I'm so sorry I hadn't read the reviews before. When you hear the microwave go off and your meal is ready in less than 2 minutes, there's no question about it.
Avoid at all costs if you don't want to throw up that same evening.
Good luck to the daredevils, this restaurant deserves a spot on the show "Kitchen Nightmares."

Uptown in Slagelse has scammed me by charging more money than my pizza cost. Despite six calls and repeated promises that they would "fix it" and call back, nothing has happened. Every time I have spoken to them, I have been given a promise that is never kept, instead they make fun of me.
It may only be 66 kroner, but it is about principles and respect for customers, and downright illegal action. If you can be treated like this over 66 kroner, I dare not even think about how they handle bigger problems.
I will NEVER shop at Uptown again, and I certainly cannot recommend others to do so either.

23/11/2025: I have definitely not been happy with night pay since I cancelled my subscription several months ago, and have written to them before, but without success, and they keep withdrawing money!!! So I want my money back!!! And I definitely don't recommend anyone else to download that crap, because they really suck!!!!

14/12/2025: After 2 and a bit hours of waiting, including 2 phone calls and the promise of the food being "on the way", we ordered pizza instead. The sushi never showed up.
We actually attempted to cancel it on the phone the third time we got through, and it was claimed "There must be a mistake, I don't even have your order in the system" which notably is after twice having confirmed the order number, and stating that it was "on the way".. Which makes wonder how you'd know that without it being in the system..
Anyway, total scam. Don't bother with this place.

04/12/2024: Was looking forward to eating here, booked for 11am for when it opens, got there at 11am and the place was locked up and closed, peered through the window and the place looked dirty and disorganised with chairs and rubbish bags scattered around, stood around for about 15mins to no avail then decided to head elsewhere

10/09/2025: We have used them for many years. 2 machines and lots of coffee. Unfortunately I have found that they are good at selling but poor service (0) if you are unlucky enough to buy a machine with a congenital defect.
So now it's over.
11/08/2025: Bought an espresso pot to give as a gift. Tried to exchange for another pot from Rigtig Kaffe, but gave up because their process is so cumbersome.

Vi havde ikke forstået konceptet at vi også skulle krydse af ved pommes frites eller bagt kartoffel, da jeg havde krydset af ved kyllingbryst til 169kr.
Jeg havde en forestilling af at det blev spurgt, hvor der står at det en af delene altid følger med til hovedret.
Da maden ankom fik jeg et kedelig koldt kylligtbryst - UDEN noget andet!
Som i INTET andet.
Kontaktede tjeneren og spurgte hvornår resten kom. Men det kom ikke, da jeg ikke havde krydset af.
Ingen nedslag i pris eller andet!
169kr for en kold kedelig kylling uden tilbehør af nogen slags.
Og det var manageren som besluttede dette. Bare ærgerligt sagde han.
Min anbefaling til andre: Hold jer lang væk!
29/05/2025: Utrolig lang ventetid på at blive sat til bords og svært at få fat i tjenerne når man skal betale eller har spørgsmål. Dog er de super hurtige til at komme først og spørge om drikkevarer og tage mod bestillingslisten. TripAdvisor siger at 3/5 er gennemsnitlig og det er vel der det er.
