19/03/2026: We had heard about the hotel and wanted to visit it on our next trip to Denmark. In March 2026 we went there. The stay was very good! Service, food and management were top notch. This is a hotel with workers who have various disabilities and need some adapted work. A hotel a little out of the ordinary. We will be back here!! The hotel has a good standard, the beds were very good. The food tasted excellent. We ate both breakfast, lunch and dinner during the days we stayed there. Everything was very good! The hotel also has many events in its small concert hall and there was also a concert there the one evening we were there. The hotel only has 13 rooms, so it is not big. Here you could sit down and chat with the management and the staff was there all the time! Recommended!

01/08/2026: Ordered take away - as so many times before - for four people. The food was nice, but it could have been a bit warmer; which may be due to the relatively long delivery time. Although the taste experience was not as good as before, we will probably go with Esaab again another time.

13/07/2026: It's more of a Thai takeaway place, but the quality is very good. We had the Pad Thai and the fried rice. The food is prepared with great care and lots of good ingredients. The portions are generous.

19/08/2025: The food is the most real, well made and just perfect there can be. They bake the bread, make the jams, cook the ham, do everything from scratch in the oldschool way. The dinner dishes was sublime. Breaded and panfried Plaice is served all over Skagen, but the one we had here was next level, there is probably not a better to be had in Denmark! The owner is a rare case of a Chef with a knowlage spanning decades and refuses to compromise on anything from breakfast to dinner, a rare gem of a Chef and a class woman. Everything we ate here was as good as oldschool, authentic homemade cooking can be. All the produce they use is of the highest quality. As a Chef myself, this is one of the Realest experiances i have ever had and a was honored to be alowed into the retro kitchen for a look. The kitchen with the 50years old stove is the cleanest kitchen i have ever seen. My only regret is not booking a longer stay, but we will come back next year.

31/07/2026: Always friendly staff, good food and it's always super nice to eat here. We always go here when we want a good pepper steak because they are good at cooking the steaks so they are nice and tender and juicy. Their pizzas are big and there is always plenty of filling.

16/07/2026: Absolutely beautiful place with a large selection of Belgian beer. We enjoyed several hours here with good beer, good service and a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

07/08/2026: We've had ice cream here several times. The ice cream in Denmark is simply amazing! How they manage to eat the huge portions is beyond me, but I was more than satisfied with my small portions.

05/08/2026: The ice cream here is especially delicious. There's a huge selection of flavors, milkshakes, crepes, and waffles. There's something for almost everyone. The quality of the products, the price, and the friendliness of the staff are all outstanding. We received excellent service at the counter. Even though we're not from Denmark, communication was very easy. In the end, we enjoyed the best ice cream in town and will definitely be back.
