31/10/2025: The pizzas and burgers were so delicious that we ordered a second time during our vacation. The family who owns the place is very friendly and even speaks relatively good German; the menu is also available in German. The dough is perfect, the pizzas are a good size, and the burgers and fries are also good. Thank you so much, and we'll definitely be back!

19/10/2025: We are greeted by a waiter at the entrance, we get a nice welcome and the waiter is professional and well-dressed even calm. We are shown to our table, we sit down. We choose a 3-course menu each. I don't have many words to say about the food, it was consistently exceptional. The food tasted fantastic, the composition was thought out and the ingredients were local and good. Late in the evening the entire restaurant was full, so it was challenging to be so many people in the same place. There should be some form of ventilation, as the air was heavy even though the atmosphere was relaxed and calm. The music was muted and comfortable, the room was heated, the decoration in the room is characterized by pearl plates, empty bottles, pictures and a lot of other things. Instead, the decoration should illuminate the river, Sæby and cultural history. Fresh flowers would like to make a difference, I wonder why there were no flowers in the restaurant, when the food they serve is at a high level of chef skills. Served on the table as an extra service: 2 baskets of: Sourdough bread with old-fashioned kernel butter from Aabybro Dairy. Starters: 2 pcs: Haddock with soy, kimchi, carrot and pumpkin. 1 pc: Mushrooms in hollandaise sauce, sprinkled with yeast. Main courses: 1 pc: Slow-cooked veal. 1 pc: Red deer fillet. Dessert: 1 pc: Beer bread with ice cream and meringue. Drinks: 2 pcs: Pepsi Max bottle. 1 pc: non-alcoholic beer. 1 pc: jug of water. We'll be back.

19/03/2026: We had heard about the hotel and wanted to visit it on our next trip to Denmark. In March 2026 we went there. The stay was very good! Service, food and management were top notch. This is a hotel with workers who have various disabilities and need some adapted work. A hotel a little out of the ordinary. We will be back here!! The hotel has a good standard, the beds were very good. The food tasted excellent. We ate both breakfast, lunch and dinner during the days we stayed there. Everything was very good! The hotel also has many events in its small concert hall and there was also a concert there the one evening we were there. The hotel only has 13 rooms, so it is not big. Here you could sit down and chat with the management and the staff was there all the time! Recommended!

30/11/2025: It is really nice place for Danish open sandwiches and there was a buffet all you can eat. It was perfect!

11/10/2025: Friendly service, but the food was nothing special. We got schnitzel and fish n chips. Schnitzel was wet with grease and not crispy. French fries were the usual kind you get at a grill bar. There was only one (not very large) piece of fish for fish n chips. The peas were a bit overcooked. For the food we ended up with 280kr and we weren't very full. We won't be back👎🏻

12/11/2025: Incredibly well-prepared food that testifies to true culinary craftsmanship and respect for the ingredients. I left with new inspiration for my own dishes and a genuine taste experience. Enthusiasm for the entire meal and wine that supports and completes it, combined with service that is impeccable, warm and rewarding. Cardeau!

30/12/2025: Another super delicious pizza at Fumo. It's the right size, crispy and tasty. If I had to give 5 stars, it would have been warmer in the restaurant, and the music lower. We sat right under a speaker. But all in all a good experience and not the last time I'll be there.

29/12/2025: Excellent cafe. Delicious food, excellent service and good background music. I would recommend it to friends and come back myself. I miss a sign near the Pema store indicating that there is a good cafe nearby. I have been nearby many times but I didn't know there was a good cafe. Good luck.

06/12/2025: Pizza was one of a kind, cheesy and oily, but in a good way! Very satisfactory. Only thing I have a strong complaint about is the plastic pizza plate, very unhealthy, please lose them!
