23/11/2024: We had bought a deal for Foldens Hotel.. we met a friendly and welcoming staff, nice big room, 3 course dinner in the evening.. morning buffet was okay, they made sure it was filled up. We got value for money.. would love to come again..

11/11/2024: Cozy hotel with friendly and welcoming service, delicious morning buffet. We had an absolutely fantastic Mortensaften menu with rice salamander for dessert, the most delicious roast duck we've had in a long time.

05/11/2024: We have just checked out of Brøndums Hotel and it was beyond expectations. We stayed in a family room. The room is about 200 meters away from the hotel in a beautiful building with the most adorable rooms. We had a weekend stay with 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts. It was wonderful taste experiences as well as really warm and good service. The whole hotel is full of history and you feel like you are in a little pocket in time. If you have come to Skagen to feel thrown back to the time of the Skagen painters, then this is exactly where you should be :) Many thanks to you at Brøndums Hotel - it has been magical days.

02/02/2025: We called the grill bar and ordered food at 16:32, we are told that the food is ready at 17:45. I arrive at the agreed time to pick up the food, but when I ask about my order they seem a bit confused, where the young gentleman behind the counter asks what I had ordered, here I explain my order to him. I then ask him if the food has been made at all, to which he replies "I don't think so" I end it by saying that we won't have any food anyway, where the boy shouts out to the kitchen that they shouldn't make the food anyway. There wasn't even an apology or anything. Probably the last time we'll get anything from there.

29/03/2025: Exciting menu in the new Nordic style and for reasonable money. We had 10 tastings but without caviar. Excellent performance and taste experience. We only missed a better selection of non-alcoholic drinks suitable for food. I had to extract from the restaurant manager that they were actually conducting an experiment and agreed to be the guinea pig. It was promising, but a tad too sweet after the 2nd glass.

21/03/2025: Really good experience, the food was well prepared and especially the creams and sauces are at a high level. The waiter was sharp in both the food and the wine. The prices are extremely fair A clear recommendation from here

05/04/2025: Fotex appeared to be a calm and relaxed store, but limited access to staffed checkouts resulted in a rating of less than five stars.

09/02/2025: Normally we have not had problems with Bones in Frederikshavn, but this day we were there was different. However, we were met by a waiter immediately and given a table and notes to be filled in with our order. Then nothing more happened, a quarter of an hour passed and no one came and collected the order notes, nor asked what we wanted to drink. It must be said that it was not busy at that time. I went up with the notes myself and asked why they had forgotten us and got a sour look instead. When the food finally arrived we still hadn't had our drinks. I had to go up myself and ask for more fries as no waiters came down to us as they usually do. When they ran a campaign in the restaurant called BBQ battle, the burger was smaller and the meat was dry. We ate the food anyway and mentioned it when we paid but the waiter got angry and didn't say anything.

13/02/2025: On a trip to beautiful Skagen, we passed this Spisehus for refreshment. It is beautifully situated at the harbor and therefore has a great location. Inside it is kept simple and functional. Just the thing if you just want to rest, sit and eat for a moment. Sorry for the cliché, but I ate the very tasty schnitzel with bearnaise sauce. :) It hardly needs to be mentioned, but the service (in the whole of Denmark) is simply super nice, family-friendly and simply pleasant. We felt very comfortable and will come back if we find ourselves at the northernmost tip of Denmark again. Thank you!

13/03/2025: Delicious lunch arrangement, we got an extra fish fillet because we came at the end of the day. With it, the portion was fine, but or I think it was probably just at least. The waiter was super charming and the location couldn't be better.

22/12/2024: I don't recommend it. The fries are fried in old oil and extremely greasy, and the bun looks like someone threw up in it.
