14/02/2026: Had booked a table via Google and was going to eat the day after I booked. Called the restaurant the day before to see if they had also received my booking, just to be on the safe side. They had and I also had a small wish, whether it would be possible to sit at a table for only 2 people. She would find out the next day and call me to tell me if it could be done before 3:00 PM. As agreed, she called before 3:00 PM and also said that it would be possible to sit at a table for 2 people. I think the service is really good, the staff is nice and accommodating, the food is also really good, I also think the price for the whole thing was incredibly good and I really think I got something for my money. Definitely a place you could visit again, as price and quality are related.

22/12/2025: There was just enough control over it. Several things that were on the shelf could not be reached. The ice machine was broken.

17/01/2026: The perfect location in the city, but the room is not cozy, there is a bit of a train station over the experience. Super good fastelavnsbolle, but probably the worst Cappuccino I have had in Aalborg. Probably won't come back for coffee.

15/01/2026: The sweetest clerks and the best rolls, but it's a cold place to sit. It would help to put up a screen, or make a wall between the door and the seating. You can't be supposed to sit and freeze while eating.

16/01/2026: The food is Oki there. But the temperature in the restaurant is low. Very low. We sat and froze. Changed tables to see if that helped. Asked if they could turn up the heat. The friendly employee didn't dare to mess with it. So it wasn't a pleasure at all.

10/01/2026: Unfortunately, it was not a very good experience. We sat for about 30 minutes before our order was taken, even after I had gone up to ask. When we arrived, we were told that the staff would come down to the table and take the order. The food was served at intervals of about 10 minutes. The pizzas came first, and then it took another 10 minutes before the schnitzel and burger were served. It was a shame that the food did not come at the same time, and the burger was also not hot when it was served. The restaurant had also made a post on Facebook that you get a free soda for the rest of the year. We were questioned by the staff twice, even after we had pointed out the post. Only after repeated dialogue was the offer accepted, and here it was also made very clear that it was a small soda. All in all, it was unfortunately not a successful first experience at Botan.
