03/08/2026: Good food, and cozy atmosphere with a beautiful location.

31/07/2026: On July 30th we stopped by to get food, got a table and sat for 35 minutes and waited, nothing happened, just walked by and just gave people the menu card and so on. In the end we left. Bad style. Definitely won't be back.

07/03/2026: Very good, good food, nice and competent staff, good drinks. Have visited several times but this was the first time for brunch. There were six adults and everyone was very satisfied.

18/12/2025: Sandwiches in their own innovative version but still faithful to the classic flavors. The restaurant delivers high-class cuisine served by staff who put service first. Always. Good locally produced beer (the brewery is behind a glass wall by the dining room). We'll be back!

30/07/2026: The staff were very friendly and our food arrived quickly at our table. The burgers and fries were delicious. The ice cream was also good, but anyone expecting ice cream like the competition across the street will be somewhat disappointed.

07/12/2025: We went to the Chefs' Evening and had the most delicious food. The food looked beautiful and tasted great, and we had the best service from the staff, and nothing was missing. Absolutely perfect and such a beautiful event.

21/07/2026: Very cozy interior, friendly staff :) Since we had a dog with us, we sat outside. The food was ready quickly and tasted great :) and the portion size was perfect.

21/07/2026: A nice self-service restaurant. The prices are on the high side. With two main courses and two Cokes, we paid the equivalent of almost €70.

09/07/2026: A sandwich is not something you can make in a pita bread, lots of meat delicious, dressing no so dry meat, it's not the winner, the wife's fries, there were only spices on top and far from all were crispy. Very disappointed when you pay 85 kr for a sandwich and get a pita, I don't know if the wife had the same but she got half a grilled chicken, and still hasn't tasted it, maybe because she doesn't dare.

01/07/2026: Ordered 2 salad pizzas and 2 other pizzas. The other two were no problem, but the two salad pizzas looked far from inviting and fresh. There was brownish lettuce, the end slice of tomato and incredibly thick pieces of cucumber. Could definitely have been better, especially the brown lettuce (didn't take a better picture unfortunately, but the other salad pizza looked worse). Unfortunately, I only discovered the problem when I had driven away, but I will definitely choose another pizzaria next time, unfortunately.

20/10/2025: A really good campsite, with good playgrounds for children. Lots of options also renting both caravans and cabins. The service building is nice and well maintained and the cleaning is top notch. Lots of options there.

25/06/2026: Absolutely shocking experience. Earlier in the day, I contacted the owner specifically to ask whether they would be showing the World Cup match and how late they would be open. I was clearly told that the match would be shown and that the bar would stay open until midnight, exactly as advertised on Google. When I arrived at 9:30 PM, I was met by an employee sitting outside drinking while supposedly working, who informed me that they were actually closing at 10:00 PM and were not showing the match at all. So either the owner had no idea what was going on in their own business, or I was deliberately misled. What made the situation even worse was seeing that after customers were turned away, the staff simply locked the doors and continued partying inside themselves. Apparently, paying customers are not welcome, but private staff parties are. After buying a single beer, I was basically pushed out the door despite having travelled there based on the information I had been given earlier. The entire experience felt dishonest, unprofessional, and disrespectful. If you advertise opening hours and promise to show a match, then honor your word. This place clearly has no respect for its customers. I will not be returning.

28/06/2026: We had booked a table well in advance. When we arrived we were greeted by the most smiling and nice man who showed us to a nice, clean and nice table for 2 with plenty of space. He informed us about what and how we could order and then he left and we were given time to look at the menu and find out what we wanted to eat. When it was done and we went to the buffet, everything was nice and properly arranged. Not huge portions but smaller amounts that were constantly replenished so it was fresh and delicious. The table and floor were kept clean and nice and no food leftovers anywhere. I love it. The food we got: the steaks were perfectly cooked with lots of flavor and they were super tender. Potatoes and gravy and vegetables and bread from the buffet were fresh and delicious and well prepared. We got our ordered drinks delivered right away. We were given time to enjoy our food during the entire visit. Once our host stopped by and asked if we were satisfied with the steaks and the food. And we were to a certain extent. We finished with a nice hot and fresh cup of coffee, and again we had peace. The prices are extremely reasonable in relation to the wonderful steaks and service and all the food. We will definitely come again and can highly recommend Amalie as a good place to eat.❤️

25/07/2026: Practice a boring round of sushi. We have been there a few times in the past and it was really delicious and beautifully presented + it was served with dry ice and water which was really nice and cozy. The sushi we got this time was really boring and tasteless. Ordered one with spreadable cheese, it wasn't in it. We couldn't taste the mango either. The rice was really boring. There's not much to choose from if you don't want sushi. All in all, a really bad experience.

18/07/2026: We decided to go here for a set meal of sushi, but where offered a "all you can eat" at roughly the same price. We went for that, and Im so glad we did. They had such fantastic food, we just couldnt stop eating. I acctually felt a bit bad in the end for eating so much. The "all you can eat" deal is accessed through a table tablet so you can just keep on ordering pretty much anything on the menu, but with such high quality dishes its really hard to stop. Best sushi I had in years! Loved this place. You should try it out 👌

10/06/2026: A very nice and quiet campsite with spacious pitches. The sanitary facilities are very well-maintained and plentiful. The reception staff speaks German and English and is very friendly and helpful. I would gladly return.

31/03/2026: We have always loved their pizzas, but after the whole family got sick with severe diarrhea and vomiting, we don't dare to get pizza there again. The only one in the family who didn't get sick was the 3-year-old who luckily didn't eat any of the pizza😅😬
