12/01/2026: Very cozy place. Really friendly and professional staff. The food is very delicious and inviting. The wine was really well matched with the food. However, I thought it was a shame for the dessert that it wasn't homemade ice cream, when so much has been made of the cake for it.

04/12/2025: Super cozy restaurant with a really good interior that gives a really good and cozy atmosphere. The only downside was the steaks in our two burgers were not fully cooked and thus a little too red.

13/01/2026: The burger at wildebeest gastro pup was nothing short of delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked – juicy, flavorful and clearly made with respect for the ingredients. Everything worked together, and you could tell that every detail had been thought through. The staff deserves a special plus. They greeted us with smiles, good energy and a genuine friendliness that you rarely experience. The service was simply beyond the norm – present, welcoming and with a clear passion for the place and the guests. The atmosphere in the GASTRO pup was very special. Relaxed, cozy and with a great atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer – and definitely come back. A clear recommendation from here

16/12/2025: Great burgers and good selection of beers.

31/12/2025: We stayed there for one night with children. Everything was clean and tidy, the beds were good, and there was a large parking lot. The heating system could use an upgrade, and there were no charging points for electric cars/plug-in hybrids. We didn't use the restaurant or order breakfast.

30/12/2025: A historic hotel and apartment complex in a beautiful location. Very attentive service, a wonderful and cozy atmosphere and amenities. Quiet location. Located directly on the seafront. The town of Twèsted, with its supermarket, is just a few minutes away by car.

02/06/2025: El sándwich de mi pareja rico pero el segundo para mi nunca llegó. Atención pésima, sin gente en cocina. Estaban desbordados. Cuando suspendí el sandwich porque no venía ni se inmutaron.

At lunchtime I recommend booking a table in advance, sometimes there are not enough for all the places) But! There is a request to the chef to periodically update the menu. We have already tried everything, I want something new;) In general, many thanks to everyone! I definitely recommend it! By the way, coffee with almond flavor, mmmmm delicious.

31/08/2025: There may be several surf houses in Klitmøller, but none capture the spirit of Cold Hawaii quite like Viking Surf House. A few years ago, we had the joy of surfing with them at their previous location, so on this visit we were delighted to find them in a new spot right on the main road—complete with a fresh vibe, more seating, and a welcoming café atmosphere. Although we didn’t surf this time around, we happily made the most of their drink specials and were pleasantly surprised by their ice cream, sandwiches, and an array of unique gifts and local merchandise. The energy here is effortlessly laid-back—locals and visitors mingling, swapping surf stories, and enjoying the day together. The staff greet you with the warmth of old friends, and the cozy pallet couches practically invite you to linger, watching the world go by with the salty ocean breeze drifting in. The menu truly has something for everyone—breakfast, lunch, pizza, coffee, smoothies, and cocktails—all in one place. What lured us in that day were their draft beer specials, the perfect refreshment for a warm late-summer afternoon. Viking Surf House is more than just a surf shop or café; it’s a gathering place, a little slice of Klitmøller’s soul. Until next time—perhaps I’ll even be brave enough to catch a wave again!

18/10/2025: Really disappointing fish ‘n’ chips. Especially in a fishing village like Vorupør, you expect to get fresh fish. But our food consisted almost entirely of breading. It actually seemed like frozen food - Pfft!

14/10/2025: A nice self-service restaurant with friendly staff, delicious food, and a wide variety of beers on tap. The prices are very reasonable by Danish standards. The restaurant offers a lovely view of the beach. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends, as the restaurant is always busy. There's an ice cream stand outside next to the entrance, where you can buy soft serve ice cream with a variety of toppings.

02/09/2025: I enjoyed a platter of Delicious Sushis presented neatly. 30th of August (Solo guest) A heavy Raincloud was winding up over Skagen Area with thunder. So I brought the plate to the counter and ask for the remaining Sushis as Take Away, which they gladly made and transferred into a takeaway box. I ate the rest of it when I got to my shelter 10 mins away. I enjoyed every bit. Only to have the experience ruined by a Long Hair Strand (Female) wrapped around the Ginger. It made me gagging several times, but not much to do when everything was already eaten. It could have been 5 stars, but for the hair on the food, you’d lost 4 of them, so only 1 star here. Pls do better! Use Hairnets for Long haired staff (especially when you’re handling food.
