19/08/2026: After careful research and reading a few reviews, we headed to MEAT. The wait staff was friendly and professional, the beer selection excellent, and the Argentinean meat was fantastic. Highly recommended. The price?!? Average for Denmark.

01/07/2026: ​Driven by that impressive 4.8-star rating, we had pretty high expectations. The prices seemed reasonable enough, but the seating area was a letdown - the tables and chairs looked so neglected and unhygienic that we immediately decided to take our food to go. ​After a quick 8-minute wait, the kebab actually looked really promising. Sadly, the first bite was a massive disappointment. There was this weird, sour undertone to it, and it became pretty obvious that the meat wasn't fresh at all - honestly tasted like it had been sitting around for 2 or 3 days. I really hate leaving harsh reviews, which is why I originally wanted to settle on 2 stars, but I couldn't even finish the thing. And just as I feared, it ended up making me quite sick later on. I’m honestly not sure if this was just a one-off bad day, or if the place is flooded with fake bot reviews and undiscerning customers.

30/06/2026: I have only tasted a no. 10A but it is absolutely phenomenal! Absolute best meat I have ever tasted in a durum without a doubt also the best bread. Absolutely fantastic taste experience. I have been down in Germany and tasted various kebab and shawarma places but nothing beats this one. The only “downside” of the place is that it is right next to a busy road but then it is what it is. The food is definitely incredibly good🤩

29/06/2026: Unfortunately our experience was very negative. The food may be good, but the atmosphere and the behavior of the staff ruined the whole visit. From the first minutes we felt that the staff looked at us with suspicion, as if they thought we had come to steal something. This kind of treatment of guests is completely unacceptable. We ordered a good meal, behaved politely and spent time in the restaurant without any problems. However, we did not feel welcome, but rather suspicious. It was a very unpleasant experience and we have no desire to return. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place until the attitude of the staff towards guests improves.

16/05/2026: First of all. The first three steps when you enter the restaurant you are welcomed. Service is really nice. Clean and nice place. The food was really good you could feel the kitchen had put a little more love into the food which I really notice by how it is placed on the plate. Ordered a pulled pork burger the meat was not dry, really good breading on the meat itself. Coleslaw tasted fresh. The burger bun had got what it was supposed to have The only thing I can maybe put my finger on was maybe the price of the burger bun changed if you want a different bun. I ordered cheese for the burger and it was perfectly melted and should actually be a special on the menu. Since the combination of cheese and pulled pork harmonizes nicely with this kind of burger. 27/06/2026: A third place finish, but the evening was more than that. Here we sat up at night and watched Sweden play against Japan in the World Cup, a win that took Sweden through from the group. The kind of evening you don't plan but remember.

19/04/2026: Super nice hotel. Lovely room, nothing missing. Nice beds. The staff really makes you feel welcome and comfortable. The only downside was the coffee in the room, it wasn't to my taste. But a mega high recommendation from here, we would love to come back.

12/04/2026: We have had two fantastic days at Ruths Hotel. We were offered an upgrade from a double room to an apartment for a modest amount, which we did not regret. There was a fireplace in the living room, where firewood had been prepared. The staff at the hotel were extremely attentive, present and welcoming. We ate in the brasserie the first evening, and were well served by Benjamin who gave good guidance in terms of choosing a wine. The following evening we ate at Okes and experienced a light and friendly atmosphere here. Herbert and Loui managed to take us through the 19 courses in total with smiles and a fantastic presence. Occasionally the restaurant manager stopped by, helped with serving and we exchanged experiences with various things within the world of gastronomy. Jack Cramer was also out to present a few of the courses. All in all, a fantastic experience visiting both Ruths Hotel, and especially Restaurant Okes.

18/07/2026: Exciting and elaborate fish dishes, beautifully presented. Very good, but some of the dishes didn't quite appeal to everyone. A bit slow service, which led to the dessert being a bit too melted. Overall satisfied.

19/07/2026: Even though the restaurant was completely empty, we weren't allowed to sit in the sofa areas because the waiter thought that there might be guests coming later. So we were worth less than imaginary future guests. It was just so strange and something I've never experienced before... we were even there at 4pm, and according to the waiter, the place had no reservations. Who we were sitting in the way of is unknown. He even laughed at us as if we were stupid.

18/07/2026: Large portions very reasonable prices

10/05/2026: Really delicious food - it exceeded our expectations! The rooms and breakfast lacked nothing. Nice, clean and tidy. We used the spa at the swimming pool right behind the hotel, and that was also a nice experience.

21/04/2026: Allergens: Please note that the kitchen and serving potential have very limited insight into allergens despite the place's 'gourmet' self-perception. Unfortunately, I experienced that there was egg in a dish despite 3 repeated inquiries. This meant stomach ache, nausea and medical treatment. Disappointing.

26/08/2026: August 26, 2026 my boyfriend and I ordered 2 bowls. One without tomato. They were both with tomato. - Furthermore, the ingredients must not have been fresh, because my boyfriend got food poisoning from your umami bowl. Add for s.... 0/10

13/08/2026: The focus is on the excellent food. Indoor seating is limited. Good vegan options. Friendly, very pleasant service.
