02/06/2026: Really nice sushi- all you can eat concept. Freshly made and served by the table. Also nice cocktails- happy hour after 20.00 Book a table as this is a busy restaurant 🤩

12/05/2026: Really really really delicious sushi. A must visit place in Aalborg if you are into sushi and the staff were amazing and helpful. Fantastic.

20/12/2025: Visiting Løkken. The wife and I took Mellma's open sandwiches. It is definitely recommended.

30/11/2025: It is really nice place for Danish open sandwiches and there was a buffet all you can eat. It was perfect!

28/02/2026: Chicken panang, just as good as the one in Danmarksgade 💪👍 and in general everything is just okay, but try Panang 💪👍

20/11/2025: It looks quite nice, but unfortunately we couldn't try it out; the opening hours until 5:30 pm are incorrect. We went twice, once at 4:15 pm and once at 2:30 pm, and both times found it closed. A shame.

15/11/2025: Delicious ice cream, good service, would gladly come again.

31/05/2026: The food was decent compared to prove. Service was minimal. Atmosphere was stressful. I recommend takeaway and then eating at the park bench 50 m away.

07/05/2026: Everything I ordered was filled with salad. There was only a microscopic piece of chicken and a piece of falafel. It's not worth buying a salad sandwich at these prices. Over half of the sandwich was just salad. One of the worst experiences.

19/04/2026: Super nice hotel. Lovely room, nothing missing. Nice beds. The staff really makes you feel welcome and comfortable. The only downside was the coffee in the room, it wasn't to my taste. But a mega high recommendation from here, we would love to come back.

12/04/2026: We have had two fantastic days at Ruths Hotel. We were offered an upgrade from a double room to an apartment for a modest amount, which we did not regret. There was a fireplace in the living room, where firewood had been prepared. The staff at the hotel were extremely attentive, present and welcoming. We ate in the brasserie the first evening, and were well served by Benjamin who gave good guidance in terms of choosing a wine. The following evening we ate at Okes and experienced a light and friendly atmosphere here. Herbert and Loui managed to take us through the 19 courses in total with smiles and a fantastic presence. Occasionally the restaurant manager stopped by, helped with serving and we exchanged experiences with various things within the world of gastronomy. Jack Cramer was also out to present a few of the courses. All in all, a fantastic experience visiting both Ruths Hotel, and especially Restaurant Okes.

16/10/2025: Fantastic bread. They also had Russian cakes, I didn't think you could get them anymore, so it was a really nice surprise, and the staff was the nicest. Can only be recommended

04/12/2025: Best Café in whole of Denmark. Mr Peder Most is actually a super nice guy. Would recommend 10/10. When going to Norway, be sure to visit on both the outward and return journey!!

05/03/2026: Food was good. Portions big. Seems like they got a new chef, we were there about 3 years ago and food was awfully. But we have been there now for both takeout and the buffet and it's good now! We are happy to come again soon 🙂

14/11/2025: The pizza has a deep, harmonious and truly authentic flavour. The dough is thin and the crust is crispy. The pleasant music creates a cozy mood, and the beautiful tableware makes the presentation even nicer. The pizzaiolo is incredibly attentive, helpful and caring. He creates an atmosphere that makes you want to come back again for delicious pizza and the wonderful feelings it brings. In my opinion, the pizza here is of a truly high standard. And I also want to share this: look at the adorable pizza he made for my daughter — with little ears! She absolutely loved it and was so excited. It was incredibly sweet and touching. This kind of attention to detail creates a special atmosphere and leaves truly warm impressions🥰 And what’s most important is that she ate the whole thing because she truly enjoyed it😊

19/08/2025: The food is the most real, well made and just perfect there can be. They bake the bread, make the jams, cook the ham, do everything from scratch in the oldschool way. The dinner dishes was sublime. Breaded and panfried Plaice is served all over Skagen, but the one we had here was next level, there is probably not a better to be had in Denmark! The owner is a rare case of a Chef with a knowlage spanning decades and refuses to compromise on anything from breakfast to dinner, a rare gem of a Chef and a class woman. Everything we ate here was as good as oldschool, authentic homemade cooking can be. All the produce they use is of the highest quality. As a Chef myself, this is one of the Realest experiances i have ever had and a was honored to be alowed into the retro kitchen for a look. The kitchen with the 50years old stove is the cleanest kitchen i have ever seen. My only regret is not booking a longer stay, but we will come back next year.

09/05/2026: A nice little café with an ice cream stand. There is a cozy corner outside where you can enjoy your food or ice cream. In the spring season there are blankets outside and if you find the right angle there is also a little water view from one corner. We would love to come back and eat one sometime.
