31/08/2025: There may be several surf houses in Klitmøller, but none capture the spirit of Cold Hawaii quite like Viking Surf House. A few years ago, we had the joy of surfing with them at their previous location, so on this visit we were delighted to find them in a new spot right on the main road—complete with a fresh vibe, more seating, and a welcoming café atmosphere. Although we didn’t surf this time around, we happily made the most of their drink specials and were pleasantly surprised by their ice cream, sandwiches, and an array of unique gifts and local merchandise. The energy here is effortlessly laid-back—locals and visitors mingling, swapping surf stories, and enjoying the day together. The staff greet you with the warmth of old friends, and the cozy pallet couches practically invite you to linger, watching the world go by with the salty ocean breeze drifting in. The menu truly has something for everyone—breakfast, lunch, pizza, coffee, smoothies, and cocktails—all in one place. What lured us in that day were their draft beer specials, the perfect refreshment for a warm late-summer afternoon. Viking Surf House is more than just a surf shop or café; it’s a gathering place, a little slice of Klitmøller’s soul. Until next time—perhaps I’ll even be brave enough to catch a wave again!

29/09/2025: I'd definitely go here again! The prices are mega good and great portion sizes! The falafel durum was big and only 30kr! What a steal! Good chips. Would be nice with a season flavouring option. Great portion size. The men working were friendly and efficient. Paid by mobile pay which was easy. There were chairs outside to use if one wants.

17/09/2025: When im sick or tired i always grab something quick from this place, price to amount of food is unmatched also i havent yet had a menu option that wasnt to my liking. Absolutely goated spot for any student or person looking to get good food without spending a little of cash

06/12/2025: You're probably wondering why you've given it three stars when the location is 5, the service 5 and the rooms 4. It's because you never feel alone. It's creepy. Footsteps in the hallway, noise in the parking lot, and no one is there. So if you want a ghost hotel, this is perfect.

18/11/2025: Dronninglund Art Center is a charming and atmospheric exhibition space where art and nature merge into a higher unity. The center offers changing, well-curated exhibitions that range from modern visual art to handicrafts, and the bright, open rooms make the experience both calm and inspiring. The beautiful location on Borgbjergtangen provides an extra layer of peace and presence, and it is a place where you can easily spend a few hours in contemplation. All in all, worth a visit for both art connoisseurs and curious visitors.

04/12/2025: Super cozy restaurant with a really good interior that gives a really good and cozy atmosphere. The only downside was the steaks in our two burgers were not fully cooked and thus a little too red.

19/04/2025: Meget hyggelig café med borde og handel mellem hinanden. Pynteting og porcelæn. Meget fin betjening og gode café retter. Vi fik cæsar salat og clubsandwich, begge dele lækkert og friskt. Fornuftige priser.

18/10/2025: Really disappointing fish ‘n’ chips. Especially in a fishing village like Vorupør, you expect to get fresh fish. But our food consisted almost entirely of breading. It actually seemed like frozen food - Pfft!

14/10/2025: A nice self-service restaurant with friendly staff, delicious food, and a wide variety of beers on tap. The prices are very reasonable by Danish standards. The restaurant offers a lovely view of the beach. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends, as the restaurant is always busy. There's an ice cream stand outside next to the entrance, where you can buy soft serve ice cream with a variety of toppings.

19/10/2025: Generally really good food and served by an amazing staff. However, I do feel that it is slightly overpriced, even considering the service and food quality. Would still recommend going, but I probably would not go back, as you could get just as good food a lot of other places, without paying for the performative service aspects.

16/10/2025: The food was delicious and hot. There was a wide selection: burgers, fish & friends, Stjerneskud for dessert, a Belgian waffle with ice cream, ice cream... The service was very friendly.

16/11/2025: This is hygge, truly Danish. A visit is definitely worthwhile. Delicious coffee, the raspberry cheesecake perfect. The owner is incredibly friendly... Great place.
