07/10/2025: 🍦🌊 A nice little ice cream parlor 🌊🍦 Well, FOR THE SOUTH! If you're looking for an ice cream that can knock you out like Mike Tyson in '86, then Guf & Kugler in Nibe is the place. The balls are so big that you need a knife, fork and a helmet to get through them. I have a black belt in ice cream eating, and even I had to capitulate halfway through. Normal people would have run away screaming with brain freeze and cold shock after just one ball. But the taste? It's right in the cupboard! It's like being kissed on the tongue by an Italian gelato master while he sings opera and sprinkles chocolate in slow motion. The hot dog? It was so good that for a moment I thought I was in a Michelin restaurant – just without all that crap with foam and microscopic plates. The atmosphere at the harbour is classic ice cream parlor culture: children with soft ice cream all over their faces, parents desperately searching for napkins, and of course the 72-year-old pensioner who believes it is her duty to teach the young employees how to serve a scoop of ice cream in 1953. “THAT TIME they gave the scoops with a spoon, young lady, and you stood straight when you handed it over!!” Damn it… I’m getting so tired of standing in line and listening to that. Give the young ones a break – they’re juggling balls the size of bowling balls while being shouted at by Bente from Hasseris. And yes, the staff can seem a bit reserved at times. But honestly – who wouldn’t be when you’re standing in a heatwave and serving 500-gram strawberry scoops to never-ending queues? I had a poker face myself after the first hour. All in all, Guf & Kugler in Nibe delivers giant balls, a treat for the soul and hotdogs that save the day. It's a place that makes you smile and shake your head – but always leaves happy. Rating: 4 out of 5 balls that should have their own postcode. I lost the last ball in the Limfjord because I was busy balancing a 3-ball soft ice cream monster with guf and jam.

21/09/2025: Arrived to a very long queue, which meant it was supposed to be the best ice cream of the summer, but we were disappointed. OK ice cream, but expensive and very small portion of deliciousness for 7 kr. Not worth the money at all. We have been there for the first and last time.

18/07/2025: Cheating customers. I just bought a chicken / bacon sandwich with fries - I was charged 85 kr and even though I asked if that price was right they stuck to it. I could see that to the left of the door there is an offer on exactly what I bought for 60 kr. Their explanation was - this offer must be ordered online, there is nothing about that on the notice. I am not happy with this - you must find a solution for this! The purchase was made in Bogøgade on Thursday 17/7 at 13.25 I have sent you an email without you giving a reply, that is why I feel compelled to write this bad review

06/11/2025: The best pizzeria in Øgaden. The dough is thin and delicious, and the pizzas are not greasy. The taste is really good, and the employees are always very nice. You get a lot for your money - the quality can easily be compared to the more expensive places in the city center.

29/10/2025: The best pizzas and service! The pizza base is thin and delicious, not greasy. They are very flexible with fillings and understand what you write in the comments box with changes. If not, they are nice to call and ask. There has never been a mistake in the order, and the staff is always very nice and smiling when you pick up your pizzas.

25/08/2025: We ate four delicious pizzas here, and the service was fantastic. The owner even kindly gave us a kebab pineapple pizza. We'll be back!

24/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ We visited AMICI in Aalborg and had an excellent, but not entirely convincing experience. The pizza was unfortunately a bit disappointing – the base was very soft and almost unbaked, and the taste seemed a bit flat. It lacked that final lift and a more penetrating Italian taste. On the other hand, both the wine selection and the Italian beer were really good, and the service was sweet, attentive and welcoming. The place appeared clean and neat with a simple and subdued interior, which despite its cool style still managed to create a cozy atmosphere. All in all, a nice experience, but the pizza lets it down – that's why the rating lands at 3 out of 5 stars. We might try again another time, though.

05/10/2025: Best pizza I've had outside of Italy. That was very unexpected.

20/09/2025: Wonderful place for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea. The best coffee in all of Skagen. The cinnamon is delicious, and I loved the pepper and caramel. The staff is very nice. The only thing they could improve is that they don't have lactose-free milk. I'll be back!!!

16/09/2025: The bread racks and display cases overflowing with sweets promise a lot upon entering. Unfortunately, this place seems more like a bakery where you buy bread and not a good place to enjoy a coffee and pastry. Waiting for your turn and ordering at the counter is chaotic. The staff tries their best, but it doesn't seem to be running smoothly. The cappuccino isn't good; it tastes more like warm milk. We ordered a pistachio roll and a cinnamon roll, and these were also very disappointing. The indoor seating area lacks ambiance, and the tables weren't very clean.

03/09/2025: Nice service by 2 welcoming employees. But the food was not okay. The edamame beans were cold and hard, the tempura shrimp in the roll was dry and not crispy at all, and the chicken tasted like it had been sitting for far too long. We have come a long way with you, but since we can see that your quality is declining, we will not visit or order from you anymore.

23/08/2025: Stunning food. Delicious prawns and fish soup to start and the fried plaice for main. Our son had the fish and chips. Staff very friendly and helpful. Thank you

16/07/2025: 2nd time I've visited the place.. My friend and I had bought a deal for a sandwich buffet.. 😉 The sandwiches are good and nicely decorated.. Especially the potato dish is a big hit.. Ate 3 of them.. 😋 🥰 Will definitely come again..

26/10/2025: Vk can't put his finger on anything. We are visiting Hjørring and beatiller table pø Bones. We arrive early and get a table quickly. The sweetest waiter comes who is smiling and welcoming and takes our order and it applies throughout that there is just control over it that we provide the best service to our customers. While we are there, the salad bar is filled up, there is nothing missing that is nice and clean at the soft ice and the salad bar. Absolutely a fantastic good experience that can definitely be recommended. Therefore 5 stars from here

27/08/2025: Have had dinner with you for a couple of years in a row, the starter and side dishes for the main course and not least the dessert were super delicious, but the meat both years was the best meat I have ever had, I would recommend that another supplier be found for meat. But I will come again and again, the serving ladies are really lovely, as well as a lovely atmosphere Mvh

12/11/2025: We visited this restaurant yesterday. The ambiance is lovely, but the service and food didn't quite live up to it. What really displeased us, however, was that we paid 49 crowns (6.50) each for a regular cup of coffee and a small cup of tea bag. This price is simply outrageous. The price and quality are completely out of sync. For this reason, we won't be returning to this otherwise cozy establishment.
