The food—kebabs and pizzas—was very decent, with large portions. The service was very friendly and open to communication. This place wins in terms of value for money.

30/05/2026: Really good and fresh sushi 🍣 The service is lagging, the waitresses seemed more interested in talking about their weekend plans than serving. The drinks were cold and the toilets were clean. Overall a good experience. 😊👍

25/07/2026: The restaurant Madam Blå in Andelslandsbyen is the perfect time travel destination if you want to feel the wings of history while filling your tank with hearty home cooking that can satisfy even a hard-working homesteader. It is the ultimate place to drop any calorie counting and just surrender to nostalgia while you eat your way through the menu with the same enthusiasm as a pioneer on the prairie. The food definitely delivers the goods for the big gold medal with classic dishes that taste like when grandma was young and the kitchen smelled of real love and butter. It is very cozy to sit in the historical setting and enjoy a good lunch, but you can almost hope that in the future Madam Blå will hire an army of stiff old men with rolling pins to keep track of the tourists who forget all about good manners when there is coffee and cake on the table. The place gets a huge recommendation from here if you are into true idyll and full stomach profit.

17/07/2026: Super delicious open sandwiches that you pick up at the counter. The only downside was that they had chosen to have all the staff take a break at the same time, so you couldn't buy ice cream at the ice cream kiosk on such a hot day. Other places have staggered breaks, so there is always staff on. That way you don't miss out on more revenue there 😊

02/08/2026: Really disappointing experience! We were there for lunch take your own table. The selection was so small and boring. In addition, it did not taste good at all. The meatballs were inedible and the pork roast was dry and chewy. The warm liver pâté was so runny and watery that you could not put it on any bread. Would not recommend it to anyone to eat here, unfortunately. The only star they get is for the location. And honestly, it is a shame that it is not passed on to someone who cares to cook delicious food for the area.

05/06/2026: Went with a bus company to the buffet and everything was ok. Nicely set tables and beautiful flowers. Innkeeper entertained with good stories

16/07/2026: We have eaten buffet here several times, and have been very satisfied. Large selection and tasted good. This time unfortunately a couple of dishes were missing so I couldn't find anything to eat. Great with gloves and alcohol at the buffet. Soda from dispenser, good with carbonation. Unfortunately a bit slow to refill when something was empty, and no one ever cleared the table during the meal or asked if we wanted more drinks.

17/07/2026: Organic Marked is a delicious self-service concept that sells organic products like cakes, bread, cheese and other delicious items at reasonable prices. I'm a fan.

21/06/2026: SO delicious sushi at the local Kaku Sushi, both the classic and the fun innovative pieces taste really good and are a good size (delicate and not too big) and I have rarely experienced such a sweet team of people working here. 10 out of 10! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

19/07/2026: There were 6 of us who enjoyed a lovely lunch buffet, which was exceptionally good.

19/07/2026: Ordered for 7 people. Buffet on a Sunday. Friendly service, nice herring and other fish, cheese and cake/dessert. I didn't taste the meat except for some excellent skewers with sweet and spicy chicken pieces. Apple pork with sweet, vanilla spiced apple porridge was an obvious miss 😳🤗 Nice selection in really nice quality for the price.
