25/06/2026: We visited Restaurant Sommer in August 2025 and had a very pleasant dining experience. The food, service and atmosphere were excellent. Unfortunately, a serious payment issue followed. Our bill was 1,294 DKK, but our bank account was charged 4,119.45 SEK. After contacting the restaurant and providing documentation, they investigated the matter and informed us by email that an additional 1,400 DKK had been registered as a tip. They acknowledged the error and agreed that the amount should be refunded. The restaurant requested our bank details, which we provided immediately. However, despite several months of email correspondence, reminders and repeated assurances that they were looking into the matter, the refund was never completed. Mistakes can happen in any business. What matters is how they are resolved. In this case, the restaurant acknowledged the problem and promised a refund, but failed to follow through. As a result, what started as a very enjoyable visit ended in a long and frustrating dispute over a payment error. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Restaurant Sommer. Customers should not have to spend months chasing money that the restaurant has already acknowledged should be returned.

23/11/2025: Super nice conditions and clean and neat rooms. The food at the restaurant was really delicious and a super delicious breakfast buffet with a lovely view of nature and water :)

13/11/2025: Quite an ok hotel. Classic design and nice. But it's lacking in a few things that are considered essential for someone who travels a lot. Latest check-out at 10 am is 1 hour too early. Non-blackout curtains are a no-go for me. And if I understood correctly that breakfast is only from 8-9 am, that's not perfect either (with the exception of misunderstanding about breakfast).

04/06/2026: It's too bad that the truck chargers never work, have called up to 15 times over about 28 days and when there are almost no chargers in West Zealand it just seems like they don't care about those who drive trucks

30/05/2026: Disgusting toilets. Greased all over the place. No toilet was without something inside or outside. Leaky toilets that leak all sorts of wet stuff onto the floor, so you can stand and soak. No toilet paper. Super dirty and then you have to pay 7.5 kr for that mess shop. It's unreasonable. In Germany I would happily pay for a clean toilet, but here I prefer a public rest area, which 99% of the time will be cleaner than this one or a bush. Gas prices were no better, so there's nothing good to write about unfortunately.

31/03/2026: Good sushi takeaway for reasonable prices. Have now bought there several times and we have not been disappointed.

14/04/2026: Paradiso is definitely a recommendation, both service is perfect, super nice and accommodating staff. Delivery also runs like clockwork. On top of that, they have incredibly friendly drivers who deliver the food hot and with a smile. Strong recommendation from here

25/04/2026: Quite a nice experience. Chose a burger menu, where the steak is really good for the price, and that's the reason for 4/5, as it wasn't that tasty otherwise. It was clearly not made from a frozen disc, but it wasn't dry either, and was well seasoned with salt and pepper. Good fries, which were crispy. There was no dipping sauce - they were a bit stingy with that and didn't bother to go up for more. Overall a nice experience. Not overwhelming, but for 110 kr. I didn't go to bed hungry and had a good meal. Will probably come and try their menu items with kebab, as it looked excellent.
