12/09/2025: The room was newly renovated. Have to make breakfast yourself, find the fridge, cups and care. Was a bit of a charm. Pleasant service. But quite decent standard ;)

20/08/2025: Great hotel. Wonderful kitchen with two washers, a few large fridges and a freezer, and mini-golf. The hosts were friendly, and it was nice and quiet while we were there. The location is great, you are just a short walk on the pedestrian path through the trees (full of plums, raspberries, and even cherries ready to pluck and eat!) to Bilka and the amazing Antvorskov Ruins. I recommend a 5 minute $15 uber from Slagelse Station however, as the walk to the hotel with luggage is 30-40 minutes and not the best, but you will probably pass H.C Andersen's old Latin school. Slagelse is the best town in Denmark, and I will be returning to Hotel Lillevang. Putting my name on the TV when you turn it on was a nice touch too.

05/09/2025: We just wanted to have a drink. Card payments are not possible (in Denmark???). They were happy to accept euros. The conversion resulted in a much too high amount. After we calculated on our mobile phone that this amount couldn't be right (conversion factor 4 instead of 7.5), they apologised. This leaves a very bad taste in the mouth, considering how many holidaymakers are subjected to this ‘practice’ who may not yet have a feel for the conversion at the beginning of their trip. 31/10/2025: I had ordered a Herreford bernaise and I'm taking it with me and thinking everything is fine until I get home and find out my burger is without the bacon and cheese that the burger usually contains, they usually have it under control but I'm sorry I didn't get what I paid for I live 15 away so I didn't feel like driving back

24/09/2025: Delicious sushi. The service is quite friendly; they walk around a lot but don't see much. We were beckoning for service for a while. And when I was paying, he got impatient. You could choose between kroner and euros. I wanted to ask him which one was better for me... he pressed "euro" before I could even ask.
