Ankerpladsen
Slagelse
31/08/2026: A very nice place with a great view of the harbor.
Fresh fish in several forms with friendly owners. Other dishes too (burgers, etc.), but we return only the fish. We were not disappointed.
30/08/2026: Delicious shooting stars and plenty of them

Café Korn - Næstved
Næstved
09/09/2026: Beautiful terrace and lovely large room.
Dim lighting and soft music.
Excellent jasmine green tea.
Like everywhere else here, they never serve you that awful Lipton.
Menu in English.
Free parking nearby.
Unlimited bread and butter.
The brunch is excellent and well-balanced between sweet and savory.
Scrambled eggs with two sausages and a slice of bacon, tuna rillettes, coleslaw, pecan yogurt, melon, a pastry, a pancake, and warm bread.
A real treat.
21/08/2026: The food, ice cream, and coffee were delicious. The service was also okay, although the staff didn't clean up very often.

Faxe Pizza og Restaurant
Faxe
09/08/2026: Now I've been there a few times and when you emphasize to them that you shouldn't have lettuce and tomato in your food, that's pretty much the only thing you've experienced several times, pizza that's black around the edges and smeared in oil, not a place I'd want to spend more time at.
05/08/2026: Definitely a good place with good food. Neighborhood restaurant with quite reasonable prices.

Sandwich Cafeen

03/09/2026: It's probably the driest sandwich bread I've ever had in a sandwich for 75kr. It was the first, only and last time.
31/07/2026: We ordered 4 sandwiches and all were really good. Very reasonable prices and really friendly service.

Osted Pizzaria
Lejre
12/06/2026: Excellent food and service. Not that crowded the times I've been there, so it's a bit "boring". But then you don't have to wait for the food 😉
03/06/2026: I recommend this place. My friends and I went twice, during and after Krigslive. We didn't have high expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised. The food—kebabs and pizzas—was very decent, with large portions. The service was very friendly and open to communication. This place wins in terms of value for money.

Sidesporet
Holbæk, >100kr.
01/06/2026: Overall good, a Nordic city hotel without great luxuries but it does the job. The breakfast was adequate; there wasn't everything, but I didn't miss anything. Good overall, nothing fancy.
17/05/2026: Come here again and again. Never disappoints!

Solo Pizza
Holbæk
25/07/2026: The food was delicious.
I had a burger that was big and tasty.
My wife had a pizza Bolognese, which was also big, with a thin crust, but she found the edges a little too dry.
We also had ice cream, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.
20/07/2026: Good pizzas and friendly staff. Always happy with the food and service.

Paradiso Kebab
Slagelse, 20-30kr.
07/08/2026: Paradiso Kebab Grill Restaurant offers tasty food, good ingredients and generous portions. The kebab is juicy, the vegetables are fresh, and the food is served quickly. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant is clean and cozy. All in all, a place with a good balance between quality, service and price, which can definitely be recommended.
14/04/2026: Paradiso is definitely a recommendation, both service is perfect, super nice and accommodating staff. Delivery also runs like clockwork. On top of that, they have incredibly friendly drivers who deliver the food hot and with a smile.
Strong recommendation from here
