06/06/2026: The location is marvelous, but unfortunately, we can’t say the same about the food. It is also very highly priced for the average quality. The salmon salad was drowned in mayonnaise, while the classic Caesar salad was the exact opposite—lacking dressing entirely. The club sandwich was the only dish that was actually nice. We were also disappointed by the 60 DKK lemonade, which turned out to be just sparkling water and ice with syrup sitting at the bottom of the glass. You can definitely do better than this! 🙄

28/11/2025: Old and not up to standard at all, very poor breakfast and extremely poor service, where the employees speak poor English, with Eastern European flair, the dishes are quickly emptied at this artisan hotel, which is mainly filled with people in dirty work clothes. It takes a much longer time than usual, after several requests, before it is refilled. There are two coffee machines with different products, however they do not work, or are emptied..! Their ginger shots are too old...! There are very few TV channels, there is no wallpaper on the walls, however, they are just painted over where it is missing, the beds are low and the furniture very old and fragile..! Very cheap and bad hairdryer, poor selection of soap, no conditioner., inappropriate lighting in the room..! people stand and smoke right outside the entrance, which makes the smoke seep in...!

09/11/2025: A worn out hotel from the past. Details like a TV hanging crookedly, a lamp that doesn't work, lack of ventilation and charging electric cars at exorbitant prices show that the hotel is past its glory days. There is little positive to highlight for the hotel itself and the services. All in all, the absolute minimum of what one can expect. Breakfast and service are probably the only things that can be highlighted as above the minimum expected. After sleeping in well over 100 hotels in all price ranges, I would recommend looking for other options if you want something other than a bed to sleep in for the night.

05/09/2025: We just wanted to have a drink. Card payments are not possible (in Denmark???). They were happy to accept euros. The conversion resulted in a much too high amount. After we calculated on our mobile phone that this amount couldn't be right (conversion factor 4 instead of 7.5), they apologised. 11/04/2026: Quite a nice Espresso House, although not the coziest place to sit, but a good place to have a coffee with you around the center. It was nice that they have various board games lying around, if you want something other than just drinking coffee and eating cake.

25/02/2026: For some time now, the café has been advertising melted chocolate instead of the usual lousy powdered cocoa. Today we tried to order melted chocolate for the second time. The first time they had run out of chocolate, but only told us when we pointed out that we had received powdered cocoa mixed with water. Today we ordered melted chocolate again, as it is now also stated on the menu board. The girl behind the counter was completely on board with what we ordered, but still we were given the watery and tasteless powdered variety. When we asked how it was made, we were given a nice explanation of how the finished powder was mixed with hot water. Sad and expensive experience.

09/03/2026: Urgh. Manor steak. Was a sad water-bathed grill bar steak. Almost not fried so more gray and boiled than actually fried. Sorry I didn't discover that you had to choose your own potatoes, because the default was some spice fries that went really badly with a really soggy bearnaise. I'm well aware that I should have left it alone... Now it has been emphasized that it is simply too soggy. The poor young man did what he could and everything he had learned to make the experience good.

10/05/2026: Without a doubt the worst food we have ever had and I have eaten there for over 10 years. They were amazing. We ordered chicken and pepperoni pizza. The pizza was tasteless and only half of it was cut. The chicken was the driest. It was absolutely terrible. It was thrown in the trash. The chicken was completely brown because it was overcooked. And then at those prices. Two pizzas and a chicken with fries, 432 kr. Very disappointed and will definitely never shop there again. That you can even send it out the door is a mystery to me.

This made us get up and go to the competitor. You just lost some customers on that account. Hiring such unprofessional staff certainly doesn't pay off if customers get tired of waiting and leave before anything is sold. Shameful experience

Despite circumstances causing us to be over an hour delayed, the restaurant gave excellent service, didn't rush anything, and provided a nice and relaxed atmosphere. Even with such a large party of people, they managed to serve everyone at the same time, so no one had to sit and wait while other dined. The food itself was good, and portion sizes very fitting. Can recommend if you are in the area.
