08/08/2026: I was really shocked afterwards. 66 DKK (normally I pay around 45 DKK for that in Denmark) for three Rundstyker and one Karnelsnegl – the quality was unfortunately below average.

30/07/2026: Dry bread with a soft crust. On the other hand, it was expensive 🤷‍♂️.. feels like bread from yesterday

12/10/2026: One star for getting what I ordered. BUT otherwise it was unfortunately the most boring experience had ordered 2 pork sandwiches for pick-up an hour after ordering when we were at a trade fair and needed a delicious and light dinner. Firstly it was not finished when we got there they started on it first, after this I will allow myself to say they were inedible, there was lots of fat and tendons, it was a sandwich that was supposed to be eaten at a simple table without cutlery it didn't make it easier that the meat was cut into thick slices so you couldn't yawn over this. I simply had to take the meat out, nibble a little on what looked okay, and thought I shouldn't be so sipped, but my husband had the same experience of this. Not only was it inedible, you got regurgitated from this the rest of the evening. I also don't know where the pork rinds that were placed on the side came from and they definitely didn't have any real pork rinds. I never buy my food there anymore, not even in a time-pressured situation.

07/08/2026: The pizzas have really gotten good! We tried it a couple of years ago and the level wasn't that high at all. We were very impressed. It's great to have a good pizzaria right next to the cottage.

19/09/2026: Bad experience. Bad/no service from the staff. Long wait. We ordered a salad (price 169) that was missing something from the salad. The staff was very uncooperative and their attitude was not welcoming. Only when we spoke to their manager on the phone did we get the problem under control. The two stars are given based on the manager's way of handling the situation.

20/06/2026: We were passing the restaurant and, as a clearly heavily pregnant woman, I urgently needed to use the restroom. I politely asked if it was possible, as pregnancy unfortunately requires frequent urination. The public restroom was closed, which I informed the server. Nevertheless, I was refused. I find this truly outrageous and would never visit this restaurant again.

16/08/2025: Compared to years ago, we experienced that the level of the food (what we got) has unfortunately dropped. First fish soup, the taste was good but we missed pieces of fish, then a fish lasagna for my wife, which was not particularly successful and the accompanying salad was not fresh - I had a piece of marinated herring, where you (I) expected an old-fashioned matured herring with good taste. It was not that, it was tough and boring. We sat in the garden, where the service was fast and nice and the atmosphere was good. A cozy place.

28/07/2026: Called to see if we could buy lunch at 1 pm. We were told that we could. We were there at 1 pm. The restaurant was closed. We called the same phone number. got the same person on the phone. Who could tell us that they had new opening hours. It was fast, it's been 30 minutes since we first called.

15/04/2026: Super nice place close to the highway and therefore an ideal stop on the way between Jutland and Copenhagen. Great service and delicious homemade sandwiches

02/09/2025: Good cafe that unfortunately changes owners like the rest of us change summer tires on our cars. But luckily they don't try to reinvent the wheel... a cafe that works. Also good for kids.

12/08/2025: Have eaten here many times over many years and have always been very happy with both the food and the service. However this time we were very disappointed. The food was far below standard for Klinker, and the waitress was unprofessional and did not follow up to see if we needed anything. It will be a very long time before we come here again - if ever.

12/10/2026: Nothing really worked the day we were there. Maybe it's better at other times.

12/10/2026: Generally prefer to eat at Sunset over all other fast food chains. But it is repeatedly that I experience that this one in Ringsted delivers the worst food that I have seen in a long time.. Thought it was a one-off but today it was so miserable that I threw it back to them and left the restaurant.. I ordered a chicken burger and chicken tenders. The burger was cold and almost fell apart and the bread was very dry and wrinkled.. I did not eat and opened the bag with 3 tenders.. One was warm.. And not cooked through, and did not eat either so I thought the other two were better. These were more not fried at all and straight from the fridge and in the bag. They were really cold.. I complained and left. Will never come here again.

30/09/2026: Absolutely fantastic food. We had their 4 course menu and got both the sea and the land. Exquisite dishes and enough food, and sweet service while still allowing you to relax at the table. We will definitely be back!

22/09/2026: Unfortunately, a really bad experience – mainly because of the service. We had booked a table at 7:45 p.m. On the way to the restaurant we could see that we would be about 10 minutes late, so of course I called to let them know. Already on the phone I experienced the tone as irritated. I was told that the kitchen closed at 9 p.m. and that we therefore could not get the restaurant's 4-course menu, but only one course. After a little conversation, it was changed to that we might be able to get two courses. We accepted this on the phone and drove on towards the restaurant with that expectation. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by another waiter, who showed us to our table. He told us, completely unprompted, that we could have the 4-course menu, but that the servings would then come a little faster. That was perfectly fine with us, and therefore we of course chose to go with that option. Shortly after, the waiter I had spoken to on the phone came to take our order. When I said we wanted 4 courses, he raised his eyebrows and said: “I told you on the phone that you can’t have that.” I explained that his colleague had just told us that it could be done. However, it was again rejected on the grounds that the kitchen was closing. At that point, I asked if he really preferred us not to be there because we simply didn’t feel particularly welcome. He replied that it had nothing to do with that, but the atmosphere had become so unpleasant by that point that we decided to get up and leave. What particularly surprises me is that the restaurant offers late table reservations, while their website highlights 4-course menus. I also can’t find information in the booking conditions that the full menu cannot be ordered after a certain time. I fully understand that a kitchen has a closing time, and we were also 10 minutes late - which was precisely why we called in advance. We had even agreed on the phone that we could only get one or maybe two courses. The problem only arose when we got a completely different message from a different waiter upon arrival and were then greeted in a way that we found to be unnecessarily dismissive and irritated. When offering table times so late in the evening, in my opinion it should be clearly stated when booking if parts of the menu can no longer be ordered. The most disappointing thing was therefore not whether we could get two or four courses, but the conflicting messages from the staff and the way the situation was handled. We came to have a nice dinner, but ended up leaving again because we simply did not feel welcome.

21/08/2026: Absolutely amazing! We have ordered from here several times and it is always fresh and tasty. Highly recommended.

26/07/2026: Good sushi and chinese food here. Everything tasty. Good portion sizes.
