27/11/2024: My pizza sandwich was wet, disgusting, cold, frozen pepperoni, leaky packaging and filled with onions. Incredibly bad pizza, really disappointing

12/04/2025: It's not right that you can't find out if you can order food for a show where the tickets are bought and paid for! The website and other links are a mess! We are 8 people who may want to eat in connection with a performance (The Wreck) d. 9/5. On personal inquiry l tests the café it is stated that it is not possible to see if there is space and that the website is referred to After this, it comes to a standstill because there is no option to make a reservation. We now choose to eat somewhere else where you can make a reservation and get an answer. Janni probably doesn't live by or be familiar with it and it certainly doesn't promote the desire to visit the theatre. Johnny Lundager

09/04/2025: VI var 6 venner som kom til en aften med mad fra mellemøsten. Der ver en sand mangfoldighed af fine velsmagende retter- nogle var vegetariske andre var ikke, vi nød det hele, og var stokmætte bagefter. Den fine stemning i Teatercaféen gør spisning til en dejlig oplevelse hver gang.

02/11/2024: After a lovely walk around Åshøj and Køge, my friend and I had to have our obligatory Latte. We chose 'Flannen' and stayed in their lovely courtyard 🚶‍♀️🥰🚶‍♀️ The latte was really good and if there hadn't been 'a bit of a mess!! 🤔' at the counter, the Café would have gotten 5 stars.

26/10/2024: Really bad and disappointing experience. There were three of them at work and they were not in a hurry at all. We enter and are barely greeted by a hello, despite her being at the door. We sit for about 15 minutes before it occurs to us that we have to go up to the bar ourselves and order. Order 2 burgers and drinks, one of which must be well done. Will mention it again when I get it and confirm it is. It's not, and ends up sorting out a third of my ground beef. Order a flat white and get what resembles a really bad cafe latte. Have to explain what a flat white is. Order a coke and get a greasy glass to go with it. Order ketchup for the burger. Lamb salad mayo. When we get ketchup, it comes in a glass that has a shard. When I mention it and that I want a new one, there is no understanding that you don't want to risk shards of glass in your food. We have ordered water. Asking for it again as we mention it with the coffee. After the burgers arrive, we have to mention it again, for which we get two glasses of water - but on both menus and the bill says jug of water. The floor is terribly sticky and stinks of beer, and at no point do we get an apology or anything like that. If you didn't have to pay from the start, we would have refused to pay. The food tasted nice enough, but all in all a really bad experience and the service was beyond miserable and in no way worth the 350 DKK.

21/03/2025: Just got home with 2 tacky steak sandwiches. We had ordered rib sandwiches. ☹️ Don't know if they are sleeping behind the counter or what is going on.

06/06/2025: Gennemsnitligt pizzaria. Beklageligvis er de lokale alternativer ikke meget bedre. Dog Haslevs bedste pommes frites!

07/06/2025: My boyfriend and I ordered a durum menu and a regular pepperoni pizza, really good service and food. The employee behind the counter is really friendly, sweet and talkative. The food is flawless and tastes good, and we have been here twice now without any mistakes. We will definitely come again and can definitely recommend them ☺️ and there is plenty of different food to choose from

26/04/2025: Husk nu at put dressing på pizzaen når man betaler 10,- ekstra for det… der var ingen dressing selvom jeg havde bestilt det mod ekstra betaling

13/03/2025: The quality can be very fluctuating, depending on who is at work. But overall great pizzas. The biggest problem is that they have chosen to place the pizzeria on the outskirts of the city and often cancel orders because they cannot deliver!

16/10/2024: Don't be fooled by the appearance of the restaurant, the food is top class and the service follows suit. The prices are also extremely reasonable and they offer attractive "spar boxes" for sushi that can really do something. Can be highly recommended

14/06/2025: Ordered a flatbread pizza, it was super good. Crispy and fresh. On the other hand, also ordered a pepperoni and pineapple pizza, it was dripping in oil to the point you couldn't pick up a piece because it collapsed in the smooth oil. The fries were good but also soaked in oil... The employees spoke almost no Danish and not really English, so communication was difficult

13/05/2025: I have long thought that it is Roskilde's best durum, but after my experience today, I will definitely not come again. Their delicious freshly baked homemade bread has been replaced with some bread from a bag that is warmed in an oven, the meat was not freshly cut, but simply taken out of a warming box (dry), the normal delicious mixture of salad and cabbage has been replaced with a once boring iceberg. I ordered 2 of the same durum, but only one had tomato, cucumber and chili, the other had only cucumber. There is no reason to pay 79 kr for a roll here, which you can buy in the same poor quality at the station for 35 kr.
