12/08/2025: Venlig, imødekommende betjening, rygende varme, rigtig lækre pizzaer. Frisk, kold fadøl. Alt er i orden. Vi har været her før og kommer gerne igen.
01/08/2025: A bit hidden in the backyard but the pizza and falafel sandwich were delicious.

11/09/2025: A schnitzel for €39 (!!!) in this musty 80s atmosphere is simply unacceptable. We left.
08/08/2025: No experience with the rooms, but we ate here. We ordered steak and were given a pork belly. This was definitely not beef, see photos. We also ordered schnitzel. I've had better schnitzel at the football club, where I paid €2 for it compared to the €39 here. Not worth it.

17/10/2025: Really good grill buffet. Worth every penny. Good and welcoming service and cozy place.
12/10/2025: The food was nice.
But stop the bad service!
We came in the door and were told that we just need to find table 5.
So we did.
A little later a waiter comes and THROWS the menu on our table.
After 5 minutes she comes back and asks if we are ready to order, where I ask for 2 more minutes.
Here I get a sideways look and she walks away without saying a word. The rest of our visit they went screaming and making vomiting noises around the restaurant.
The sideways look was repeated every time you talked to the girls.

07/07/2025: We came with 3 people and a service dog, we were rejected already at the entrance when the person on site claimed that Service dogs do not have access, when we explained that according to the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration's §12.1 it states that Service dogs HAVE access to restaurants and that it is discriminatory to reject people with Service dogs, then the person insisted that we had to leave the place.
So I definitely can NOT recommend this place, I would rather suggest taking the trip to e.g. Havfruen in Korsør which is approx. 15-20 minutes drive from Vemmelev.
05/07/2025: When a person from northern Jutland like me passes by Zealand, I usually think about whether I have time to swing by one of my favorite pizzerias, I recommend pizza with kebab, sausages with dressing

09/09/2025: We ordered two salad pizzas for 80kr each with lunch specials.
The pizzas were a 6/10 in the taste register and did what they were supposed to.
There really is no contact with the waiters or anything. You get cutlery and food thrown on the table and then they go away.
The place itself is a bit nice in some places and very run down in other places. The toilet looks like something out of place.
3/5 and that's being polite.
30/08/2025: We had booked a table for a funeral for my father 5 days in advance. Even so, we had to write down our orders ourselves and hand them in at the bar. It took over an hour for the drinks to arrive, and only after 2.5 hours had everyone had their food, as they kept forgetting something – the last one to get food was the youngest child, aged 5.
When we wanted to talk to the owner about a price reduction, we were met with a wry smile and "full price". I got angry. He shouted loudly, waved his arms so that glasses fell to the floor, and refused to speak to the women in the party.
A completely unacceptable experience – I have never experienced anything like it.

13/10/2025: The buffet is more like “all u can eat meat and potatoes” consisting of 1 mixed salad, beef, rib roast, ham, potatoes, cream potatoes, French fries, bearnaise and brown gravy.
In addition, the gravy and meat were too salty, beef tough and very soft.
Cheap, but not a good dining experience.
In addition, we were seated at a table where you had to move to the table several times so that guests could visit the toilet, and each time a whiff of the smell accompanied it. Very unappetizing.
They have space for larger parties, but unfortunately there is basically only meat on the menu and no vegan or vegetarian dishes.
04/10/2025: There was no buffet despite what was on the menu...
The beef tenderloin steak was tough.
The chicken club sandwich was more like a burger, but the chicken breast was dry and very small.
The first person who asked about the food just said sorry, and that was all that was done. The second person wanted to tell the kitchen and then there was coffee on the house bill, which didn't qualify for free cocoa even though someone in the party didn't drink coffee. The coffee was strong and not freshly brewed, but had probably been sitting on a hot plate for a while.
It seemed more like a bistro than a restaurant. The staff didn't even seem happy to be there.

09/09/2025: Oh wow. Avoid.
Arrived here unplanned because another restaurant was closed. Pasta dish was ridiculously over spiced and inedible (nduja is one of our favourite pasta dishes but this place ruined it). When we complained were told we had to pay for the inedible dishes as well as the replacement dishes. Should have left then but it was late and we were hungry. Then was served okay food but with terrible service and had to keep chasing them.
My advice is to avoid. (Also cost >730dkk per person for a average/poor meal)
08/09/2025: We ate a seafood platter. Fresh ingredients. Unfortunately, the intestines were not removed from either the lobsters or the shrimp. So they don't serve remoulade with seafood. It should be a kind of mayo dip. Clean and cozy atmosphere. Covered terrace, really nice. Good chairs to sit in. Friendly service.
