07/07/2026: I had heard good things about Lagkagehuset's chocolate buns, so I went here to buy a few. It was a bit of a disappointing experience, however, as the buns were already dry when I got home. Nice staff, polite service and a cozy place, but I had expected fresher pastries, especially at Lagkagehuset's prices.

Here it has been corrected, tightened up and made into a sharper and more negative review, but still in a way that seems credible and is based on your own experience: I ate at Café Vivaldi the other day, and it will certainly be the last time. The place looks nice at first glance. There is plenty of space, the option to sit both inside and outside and even a smoking section. But from there, unfortunately, there was only one way: down. I have previously eaten at Café Vivaldi in Hillerød, many years ago, and remembered the food as being rather mediocre and superficial. I therefore thought that the concept and quality might have improved over time. That was a mistake. I had booked a table, although it turned out to be completely unnecessary. When we arrived, we were just told to find a place to sit ourselves. You order at the bar, so you shouldn't expect much from actual service. I asked how long the wait for the food was, and was told about 30-45 minutes. Fair enough. The menu was relatively limited. I chose fish & chips because I thought it would be hard to ruin after all. My wife chose a pasta dish. We ordered a beer and a drink at the same time, as well as nachos, which we wanted to have as a small snack while we waited. We also ordered drinks with the food itself. Then we just sat and waited. After about 40 minutes, everything came at once: nachos, main courses and all the drinks. So much for a drink and some nachos before the meal. And the food? It certainly didn't make the experience any better. My fish & chips were really bad. The fish was greasy, heavy and downright unappetizing. The fries were okay, but that's about the most positive thing I can say. My wife's pasta dish was also not a success. The meat came in large, coarse pieces and certainly didn't seem very inviting, and it was all in a boring and anonymous sauce. It looked and tasted more like something that had been thrown together without much interest in the result. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. The service is practically non-existent, because you have to do most of the work yourself, and when the food is of such poor quality, it is difficult to see what you are really paying for. I find it hard to imagine that a regular grill bar could not deliver a better meal for less money. My advice is therefore very simple: save your money and go somewhere else. Personally, I would rather get a red sausage with bread from the local grill bar than eat at Café Vivaldi again.

02/08/2026: To enjoy the summer in Denmark, this is the perfect place. The staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and the location was fantastic. The live music was a great bonus and created a truly hygge atmosphere. They offer a great menu with a wide selection on the buffet. The outdoor grill was excellent, and the grill master clearly knows what he's doing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience and an authentic Danish summer vibe.

31/07/2026: Delicious sandwiches, including vegetarian options (just ask), and tasty pastries. We stopped here on our way to Sweden and will stop by again on our way back.

24/07/2026: Their bread is never crispy, their cakes contain cheap margarine, and then it's ridiculously expensive, not worth the money.

11/07/2026: As I was going into one of the toilets, I saw one of the waitresses come out of the other toilet and go straight to the kitchen WITHOUT washing her hands. When my mother came out of the toilet, she told the woman behind the bar (who might have been the manager) that there were no paper towels in the toilet dispenser, but then the woman got a little annoyed and said there was a roll of toilet paper you could use. You'd be hard pressed to find anything like extremely poor customer service and rude responses.

14/05/2026: Easy to find location. Parking isn’t very close, but it’s within a short walking distance. Good food and a nice atmosphere, but I recommend ordering a generous portion since it takes a little while for the food to arrive — and on the day I went, there were only about three tables occupied, including mine. The waitress was very kind and polite. Fair prices for good food

05/04/2026: The wait was just not right. We waited about 40 minutes for nachos and a couple of sandwiches (everything tasted ok, but was in no way impressive). The guests next to us had to go in and ask for the coffee they had ordered. The staff knew it was crazy and we got a couple of sodas as compensation, which was of course nice of them. The staff was very nice but they clearly didn't have the tools to deliver which was sad to see because it wasn't busy at all when we were there. It's great to sit in their backyard and enjoy the sun, but how nice it would be if they fixed their door that slams incredibly loudly every time it opens (and it does a lot for staff and customers going in and out constantly)

01/08/2026: Okay seating area, but a bit lacking in atmosphere

28/07/2026: Totally understaffed business. Coffee was okay - bread/cake mediocre. Long queue, dirty toilets without paper, a cafe area that was downright disgusting. The poor two employees were struggling - but didn't stand a chance. How the hell can you let your employees down like that?

19/07/2026: We visited this steakhouse in Rødby and ordered two Wiener Schnitzels with fries and salad. Unfortunately, our experience was rather mixed, bordering on disappointing. The Food: The schnitzels themselves were relatively good. However, the accompanying sauce (Béarnaise) was quite runny from the start and became increasingly watery as the meal progressed. The fries were extremely heavily seasoned. The salad was the final straw: it was practically drowning in mayonnaise dressing. Quality & Ambiance: The overall culinary experience reminded us more of a kebab shop or a typical highway rest stop than a good steakhouse. Cleanliness was also lacking. It seemed as if the glasses hadn't been used; instead, people were drinking straight from the bottle. Value for Money: It's definitely too expensive for the quality offered. We paid the equivalent of €65 for two main courses, a salad, and two bottles of beer. For that price, you simply expect a different level of quality. Conclusion: It's okay to do if you're really hungry, but it's absolutely not recommended for the price.

22/06/2026: The worst meal ever! It looked like a pizza, but even with lots of herbs, the taste couldn't be improved. The ham had the shape and color of strips of pancake. In a blind taste test, I wouldn't have recognized it as a Pizza Capricciosa. Payment by credit card in euros was not possible. Cash payment in euros, with change taken from my pocket, was possible at the restaurant's ridiculously inflated exchange rate.
