08/10/2026: I ordered a chicken salad for home delivery. The food came quickly. Plenty of chicken and bacon but there was an incredible amount of green lettuce and tomatoes that were supposed to be in it, there were none. There were only a few red onions. A slightly boring curry dressing and the bread that came with it was quite tasteless. Will not order from here again

19/09/2026: Good and fast service and clean and nice surroundings. I had a chicken sandwich with fries. The fries were good and the chicken was also nice, but the sandwich itself was disappointing. It fell apart easily, and I found the taste a bit watery. Overall, it was pretty ordinary, and I expected more for the price. There were also a few flies that I had to wave away several times during the visit, which was annoying. An okay experience with good service, but the sandwich is not something I would order again.

26/07/2026: There was a lot of activity from the moment you entered until you left. Different sausages and burgers and other, definitely good things. You get several opportunities to choose something while you wait 😄

23/07/2026: Pork roast sandwich with dry pulled pork and flabby skin. Hapsdog with a dry and hard side due to heating for too long. Mediocre fish fillet and fries. The cheeseburger was really good.

And the Italian nuns, whose culinary traditions have survived generations, might ask themselves for the first time in their lives whether there was a higher gastronomic principle after all. For Havnegrillen does not simply represent cooking. It represents the final evolutionary culmination of gastronomy. It would therefore be an intellectual declaration of bankruptcy to try to compare the place to ordinary restaurants. Such a comparison would be like equating a candle with a supernova or a random raindrop with the Pacific Ocean. The difference is simply too monumental to be contained within ordinary linguistic categories. Even the concept of "Michelin star" seems inadequate. Why should one be limited by man-made rating systems when one is faced with something that apparently appeals to the cosmic order of the universe itself? Havnegrillen 4400 is not in competition with other restaurants. It is in a category of its own – a category that has not yet been invented, because humanity has so far lacked the necessary intellectual and gastronomical resources to formulate it. The conclusion is inescapable* Havnegrillen 4400 is not just a place to eat. It is a monument to the culinary potential of human civilization, a hymn to the infinite possibilities of gastronomy, and possibly the closest humanity will ever come to experiencing divine perfection served on a plate. Eating here is not just eating a meal. It is watching gastronomic history being written. And if the universe really has a purpose for its existence, it must almost be to ensure that Havnegrillen 4400 can one day be visited by every living being in the entire cosmos.

30/09/2026: Absolutely great service, forgot part of my order but apologized many times. The food was less fortunate.. I had ordered two burgers - a bacon burger and a Jutland steak sandwich. The bacon burger was great, but the steak sandwich on the other hand was inedible. The steak tasted and smelled straight up of a cat litter box! I was afraid I would get food poisoning :(

09/09/2026: The menu was very extensive, with something for everyone. The drinks were served immediately, and the food (omelet) arrived 10 minutes later. Sitting outside in nice weather makes it even more enjoyable. Why not 5 stars...? The furniture is a bit dated, and the ingredients for a good omelet need to be better and more plentiful; there's room for improvement.

05/04/2026: The wait was just not right. We waited about 40 minutes for nachos and a couple of sandwiches (everything tasted ok, but was in no way impressive). The guests next to us had to go in and ask for the coffee they had ordered. The staff knew it was crazy and we got a couple of sodas as compensation, which was of course nice of them. The staff was very nice but they clearly didn't have the tools to deliver which was sad to see because it wasn't busy at all when we were there. It's great to sit in their backyard and enjoy the sun, but how nice it would be if they fixed their door that slams incredibly loudly every time it opens (and it does a lot for staff and customers going in and out constantly)

27/05/2026: Looking forward to visiting the pub. Coming in and my husband is carrying a small, non-shedding and hypoallergenic poodle. An angry customer at the entrance says "No dogs allowed here!" And the waiter just shakes his head.

04/10/2026: I've had cup noodles that were better than this place. I usually can always find something positive. but I can't here.

28/09/2026: The steaks were raw we had ordered medium and there was a large tendon in the steaks we had them fried further but because of the tendon they were impossible to eat at the salad bar there were several things that tasted old not a place I will come back to

17/09/2026: Add.. you can't even eat the food because of all that dressing.. it's simply disgusting. The whole durum roll went in the trash 🤢 why does it have to be covered in dressing like that!
