19/10/2025: Absolutely fantastic food! The staff is also simply fantastic to talk to - you can feel the atmosphere of a small grill, and the staff just chat with each other. 👍🏻

27/09/2025: My . 2nd visit to Kokkenberg - my husband's 1st. There is ONLY good to say about this lovely restaurant. You feel welcome from the 1st second. The atmosphere is professional and at the same time filled with good humor and the food is really really delicious - we would love to come back and can only recommend this lovely place ♥

23/08/2025: Stedet følger de italienske madtraditioner, men helt opdateret til det nye nordiske køkken med brug af lokale råvarer. Vi startede med en antipasto tallerken bestående af 3 lækre småretter: Vitello tonnato, laks og kyllingelevermousse. Utrolig lækker, veltillavet og præsenteret. Vi sprang til secondo og tog henholdsvis en okse og en torsk. Pæne store portioner og igen meget veltillavet. Halvvejs byttede min kone og jeg tallerkener og fik således den totale oplevelse. Dagens dessert var en trifli lavet på friske lokale blåbær. Det er ikke sidste gang vi kommer her.

01/04/2026: Had an excellent evening at this place. We were a larger group and selected their set menu. It was delicious and very tasty and balanced. The wines were delicious as well. Especially the German spätburgunder was something special. Only setback was that I asked for some kind of milk or oat milk without lactose for the coffee. They seemed like they never had that question before.

23/05/2026: We came for dinner on Whitsun 2026. Two people plus our little dog, who we had in a stroller. We had been out walking in the area and had not booked a table. We asked if we could come in and eat and if we could bring our dog and stroller in. Tophuset is a tiny (and incredibly charming) restaurant with close tables and a ceiling where some of the highest spectacles may appear one day. But still, all three of us were allowed in and we got the best service and fantastically delicious food despite the fact that it quickly filled up, as there were many advance reservations. I had steak with pepper sauce and my husband had Wiener schnitzel and it was really delicious. All the while, our furry friend lay sleeping sweetly in his stroller. Dog owners will know how difficult it can be to find a place where you can bring your dog. There is no room for the dog under the table, so it is probably a prerequisite that you have the same kind of stroller. Our hosts were busy but still attentive and charming and it is definitely a place we will come back to when we are in this area again. Thanks for the food.

06/05/2026: The kid-friendly dish was meatballs: unfortunately, with plenty of pepper. Salad with chicken: small portion. The curry dressing was almost non-existent!

14/04/2026: here you get super delicious bread and cakes. i can only say good things about the place. it tastes like real baked goods with craftsmanship behind it. they know how to put quality first. everything i have bought there is super good even student bread is like in the old days. (has taste) if you don't like what they have. then there is something wrong.(with that person) one of the 2 best places in vejle to buy bread and cakes i personally think

14/12/2025: This is a restaurant where you go for eating food and talking with your friends and family. But this was impossible because of the DJ playing way too loud music. And it was not music, not a single song was played, only dance grooves that is ok on the dance floor, but NOT on a restaurant.

13/12/2025: The pizza was amazing, probably the best one I've had in the city. The place is very cozy, and we were treated very nicely as well. Will definitely come back.
