14/08/2026: The number of stars is an expression of the relationship between price, quality and my subjective experience of the place. We have visited Halsnæs Bryghus quite a few times over a long period of time. We have only left disappointed if everything has been busy; otherwise never. They have maintained a high standard of service at absolutely affordable prices. And I can promise you that you will not leave hungry. They don't skimp on the beer either, if that's your thing, and otherwise you can get wines that are also well worth the price. And then there's the service — we are always greeted by a friendly, attentive and attentive staff, making you feel welcome. All of this together creates a cozy setting both indoors and outdoors, a setting we feel comfortable in. Yesterday it was a warm day, so we chose to sit outside. It went as follows: a snack in the form of beer bread with salt and oil, Riesling for the wine glass and an IPA to quench our thirst while we waited for the dishes: fish soup (the creamy kind) and a plate of their vegetarian stew. Both were really delicious and plentiful; the fish soup was full of good things. I had the vegetarian stew, seasoned to taste, full of good ingredients both in and on the side (juicy wheat kernels) — the result was umami and strangely appetizing. Remember to check their blackboard, there may be "things" that are not on the menu... sooooo we finished with cheesecake with currant juice and strawberries on top — one for each. Halsnæs Bryghus has our best recommendations — we will definitely be back

22/08/2026: A centrally located restaurant serving Italian cuisine, probably the best we encountered during our 15 days in Denmark. Impeccable service. The carbonara was tasty, although not exactly faithful to the original recipe. The pizza was also good, made with quality ingredients and a fairly soft dough. Overall, a great experience, especially for those looking for a taste of Italian cuisine in Denmark.

18/08/2026: Terrible experience. We arrived at 9:30 p.m. and were rushed to order while my child was still in the restroom. We were told the kitchen closed at 10 p.m., but at 9:38 we were suddenly told it was already closed. When I pointed out the contradiction and asked for the manager, the waiter introduced himself as the manager and told me that since I was complaining, the kitchen was now fully closed. The conversation ended with him literally telling me to “fuck out.” So I did. Completely unacceptable and astonishingly unprofessional.

12/06/2026: A great all you can eat sushi experience. Our table was not that cozy since we were placed in the backroom next to the toilet. But beside of that everything else was good

05/08/2026: Ordered takeaway, where all the sushi rolls were made with wet and soft rice, which ruined the entire taste experience - ugh!…

08/09/2026: A lovely little café on the market square. The coffee was delicious, and they served it with a tasty apple turnover. The courtyard is also a great place to sit, as it's very quiet.

15/06/2026: An old traditional Danish pub that no longer smells of tradition. We were hoping to try Danish meatballs, but if we understood correctly, it turns out that it will only be on Friday :((, but I won't be there on Friday... oh, yeah. There's no draft beer either, only bottled, well, yeah... interesting. Such an experience.

21/07/2026: Went there to watch the World Cup games. Super fun. They have a screen outside (which I understand they usually do for big games) Good drinks.

24/07/2026: We have now been there for lunch twice in 1 week. The food is absolutely fine and tastes fantastic. The service is top notch, there was a young man who really knows how to treat people well. Thank you for your kindness. We will definitely come back when we are in that area🌞👍

17/07/2026: The portions were generous, the prices were reasonable, and communication via email was seamless. The service was also excellent! The restaurant is right across from the city hall, so you can celebrate your wedding here. Highly recommended!

20/05/2026: A beautiful old theater with a fantastic performance (Meter i sekundet) by the Folketeatret. The chairs were quite uncomfortable and it could be difficult to see the stage for those sitting in the front.

15/04/2026: Super delicious meat. Five stars. Minus one star for your driver's stupid driving. Teach him how to merge in traffic. The signs in the picture mean that you should merge. Not that you should rush and try to squeeze in front of the person driving in front and force him into the emergency lane

21/08/2026: An app found the place and counted the calories from a picture. The snail bread with glaze fit my remaining calories. The portion was nice and tasted good. The store is easy and fast.

05/07/2026: My childhood bakery when I lived at Fredriks Obels Vej 16 in the early 70's. We bought a Russian and 2 other nice cakes for the same price as a cake costs in Copenhagen.....
