30/07/2025: The sausage bun is a must-order! It's not the typical tube-shaped sausages we usually eat, but rather the filling inside the bun. It's delicious! The atmosphere is great, and the staff are friendly. It's not as tense as in the city. Be careful when taking photos and respect their privacy. There's a sign warning: Coffee is filter-only. They offer goat milk as an option, but it has a strong, musty smell. I chose the homemade oat milk. Because it's homemade, the oat sediment tends to settle to the bottom of the coffee, so you have to stir it. Overall, it's good. It's a good place to have lunch before chilling at La Banchita. You have to order the sausage bun; it's not your typical sausage-in-a-tube situation. It's more like the sausage filling packed into a soft bun, and it's seriously delicious. The vibe is amazing, super laid-back, and the staff are lovely, way more relaxed than in the city center. One thing: be mindful when taking photos. There are signs reminding you to respect people's privacy. Coffee is filter-only, and they offer goat milk as an option (fair warning: it does have that signature goat-y smell). I went for the homemade oat milk instead, but since it's homemade, the oat tends to settle at the bottom, so give it a stir. Overall, such a good experience. Come for lunch, then... head over to La Banchita for a chill afternoon!

28/07/2025: Even though I'm just a 12 year old girl I still have some opinions, I'm quite sensitive but I thought the acoustics were a bit bad but they've tried to make it better. I didn't think there was a particularly large selection of food, but what there is tastes pretty good. Right after we ordered another waiter came with our drinks, it was really quick. It's a small cozy place and it was a good experience.

25/07/2025: A cozy fishing boat with a sign that said fish and chips and it was tempting. But when we saw fish fritters and burgers on The map, that was what tempted us instead. However, it was buying fish fritters of a better quality, but the concept that you pick up and bring your own food is a bit more cafeteria than a restaurant. But the atmosphere and the view make up for it. The service was nice and polite and we would come Again one day

24/07/2025: This is a very nice place to have a bite while exploring the Nyhavn area. It’s less busy than the restaurants along the tourist canal, and has nice seafood things. Mind you, it is more like good snack food (fish & chips, fish burger etc) than a formal restaurant with full service, but certainly an alternative I can live with. And the view can’t be beaten. Certainly recommended.

22/07/2025: A busy evening, super service and nice seating. We took the “house menu” which turned out to be the right choice and we left the wine choice to the restaurant also a wise choice. The starter cannelloni was wonderful as the rest of the menu, and the in between surprise Cauliflower gratin topped with lobster, very delicious. Oliva Hornbæk thank you very much for a wonderful dinner. Early booking recommended

21/07/2025: Mediocre food but ok for the price. We were promised in advance that we could pay with FREDERIK Gift Cards. When it came down to it, they couldn't make it work. They tried a few times and the manager came from across the street. He couldn't do anything either. Instead, he gave us the cards back and asked us to sort it out ourselves. No one spoke Danish and the atmosphere was really bad. Afterwards, the employees from the restaurant tried to convince us that the manager was trying to "help." No one was good at any of it

21/07/2025: Dette sted serverer oppvarmet ferdigmat, vi ble servert varmt kildevann fra first price, pris 30% dyrere enn i meny! Ble forklart at prisene ble forhøyet x2 nylig, men meny ikke korrigert. Pris på mat var korrekt, men ikke samsvar mellom pris og opplevelse av pizza, sandwich var imidlertid god. Får dessverre mange kunder grunnet beliggenhet, anbefales absolutt ikke!!!!!!!!!!!!

09/07/2025: Loved that place! Went for a stroll and found this cute cafe on the way. The coffee was delicious and the service very friendly. The sun was shining on terrace which made it even more perfect.

26/01/2025: Mega cozy wine and beer bar - slightly peppery prices, but by now you can expect that a glass of wine costs DKK 100 - didn't taste the food, it was way too expensive 😬

25/06/2025: Their products level up the bakery world! The bread are huge and have a lovely crust, the morning bun was very balanced with a nice texture and a gentle lemon flavour. Their staff was sweet, friendly and fast even they had to be multitasking, they always kept a smile on their face. I love the peaceful music from the background. Such a nice atmosphere, people were enjoying a bun and coffee and were working while sitting at the tables outside. The prices are a little bit higher than in other places, but be sure you will get a higher quality.
