04/09/2025: I was really disappointed with my visit here. I traveled from the United States and was excited to try this bakery. The place itself smelled amazing and the bread and pastries looked great, but the customer service completely ruined the experience. The cashier who helped us had a rude attitude from the start. We ordered three pastries and one coffee, but she never greeted us, tossed my coffee without asking if I wanted milk, and it was only half filled. Maybe she was having a bad day, but as a customer, it felt unwelcoming and unprofessional. Sadly, the poor service overshadowed everything else, and I am reluctant to recommend this place.

We love Herthadalen for its calm, natural and idyllic atmosphere. The forest, the avenue, the lake and the thatched house provide a truly unique backdrop, both for wedding photos and video. The Nordic aesthetics of the premises, the light wooden surfaces and the minimalist design create an elegant, timeless frame where even the smallest details come into their own. In addition, it is a great advantage for the bride and groom that Herthadalen offers flexible venue solutions: rooms for both intimate weddings and larger parties, with space for up to 200 guests. And then the environmental focus and sustainability are an important part of the experience: the food is made with local ingredients, and herbs and vegetables are picked close by. This creates a holistic experience with respect for nature. The staff, planning and collaboration with Herthadalen have always been smooth: As external photographers, we have experienced good dialogue, quick feedback and a willingness to cooperate, which makes our work much easier. The peaceful and calm atmosphere means that both the couple and the guests can relax and enjoy the day. In short: Herthadalen is perfect for couples who want a wedding day in scenic, authentic and relaxed surroundings without compromising on style, aesthetics and quality. 14/11/2025: In the fall of 2025 we held our wedding party there and have also been to a company event. Would give 3.5/5 stars if possible. - Location: 5 out of 5 stars - Communication before the wedding and service during: 5 out of 5 stars Food Wedding, small party: - Snacks purchased: 4**** (the two were exceptionally good while the third on some vegetable was boring) - Starter: 5**** (trout) - Main course: 1* (venison. Everything on every plate was refrigerator cold, the meat itself was sticky and 'gritty'. Ended up eating 40 minutes after serving, when they tried to warm the dish up a bit. It was then 20-30C instead of 5C.) - Dessert: 3.5*** (campfire comfort, which had a stronger smoky flavor than expected. Went well with coffee/red wine) - Petit fours: 2** (two of the three types were the same as the dessert. Can't even remember the last one. I think I got away too easily. Also, it was too chewy). - Drinks: 5***** Company event for 50-60 people - Starter: 5***** (mackerel) - Main course: 4**** (beef, missed extra sauce on the tables, otherwise classic and simple - Dessert: 2** (cream in biscuit tart with fig. Tasted absolutely nothing and few people ate it) So all in all a good experience but don't dare trust them to serve food of the standard we expected.

26/09/2025: Your clerk was incredibly sweet and accommodating. Thank you for your kindness and help. Delicious pizzas without a doubt, but some of the meatballs were a little cold inside. But the taste was fine. Thanks for the food.

09/11/2025: Very disappointed with our visit. Average burger, average service. We ordered homemade lemonade, cannot recommend it. It was absolutely terrible. Couldn’t drink it after the first sip. We asked for a different drink and they delivered it after we finished our burgers. The meat was not seasoned. The place was cozy and clean but it has plenty of room to improve. Not worthy of a visit.

16/08/2025: This place was recommended by an acquaintance. In terms of function, it is quite finno with self-service and I like the slightly "Copenhagen look". We bought a cinnamon roll and a snickers. Unfortunately, the snickers in particular were really dry, while the cinnamon roll was ok. In terms of prices, I unfortunately did not think it was a recommendation.

23/08/2025: Nice hot dog stand with cozy outdoor seating. The hot dogs were good and the service was fast and friendly. It's a plus that the food is served on porcelain. Will we come again? Yes, definitely.

15/08/2025: I had two vegan hotdogs, and they were delicious! I come all the way out here pretty regularly, even though it's a long drive, for these hotdogs. I recently also had the vegan "big burger," and it was great. But not as outstanding as the hotdogs! I am so happy to have found this place, there are not many vegetarian-friendly restaurants in Aalborg.

29/11/2025: Four stars even though there were many guests and the noise level was therefore high

21/11/2025: TERRIBLE SERVICE! I was there with a big group and our orders got mixed up, so I never received my hot chocolate. I followed up (politely) after waiting for 30 min or so and received a SUPER SALTY hot chocolate. I had the others taste it and they all said there was clearly something wrong with it. I had had hot chocolate there many times before, and it never tasted like that. Either a big mix up or just petty behavior by the staff - so I cannot recommend the place.

25/10/2025: great pizza with great topping options on JustEat, and also great but limited on Hungry, though I am always disappointed at the lack of jalapeño or other spicy options. The option to add spaghetti to any pizza almost alleviates the pain of not eating spicy pizza. Delivery time varies from lightning fast to sometimes hours. Still the best pizza parlor around. #Klausspecial4lyfe

02/09/2025: I won't complain too much to be honest, the food tasted fine. The biggest problem I had was the service, I was misinformed about the food and therefore ended up with the wrong one. In addition, it wasn't exactly the most atmospheric place, it was very quiet and not really any vibe.

15/09/2025: Classic brown pub with real, nostalgic charm. Friendly staff and a large selection of local beers at reasonable prices. Perfect for a relaxed evening with friends in cozy surroundings. A must for those who love real pub culture! 🌟

06/05/2025: such nice and friendly staff. I met my current girlfriend here. she is the woman of my life. or rather a true angel. I intend to one day propose to her here. she was created from the bosom of God. as one man once said to us, are you ai generated? and she thought we were created by a machine and now she's ended up in the hospital. they think she has psychosis but she is just an angel who saved me. now I come here every day and drink my sorrows away because she is as if alive in my hands. she is like a cat who is dying and in still love here.
