25/11/2025: Really good service over email and a really great selection of coffee beans!

31/10/2025: Super delicious pastries, especially some really good chocolate croissants. However, you often leave empty-handed, as they are always sold out and in very limited quantities. The staff is hard to get a smile out of, which doesn't make the experience particularly good. When you pay 42 kr. for a croissant and come there regularly, a smile and thus some service is the least you can expect.

25/10/2025: We go on vacation once a year and always get breakfast bread from Kock and as an old baker I can only say good things about the breakfast bread.

18/12/2025: My friends and I (with our babies) visited this café for the first time. The place is very charming, especially the outdoor lights and decorations. Unfortunately, everything on the menu was overpriced (35 kr for a single cookie?!), and the service was very slow. The staff said they were too busy inside, even though the café was not full. We were asked to go inside to place our order and even to bring our own cups to be refilled with coffee. Despite this, one of my friends was still asked to leave her table and come inside while she was with her 8-month-old baby, which was very inconvenient. If this is a self-service café (which it wasn’t) it should be clearly stated. Overall, even though i liked the atmosphere, it was a disappointment.

31/03/2026: We ordered takeaway for 5 people, a box with 9 skewers and rice. I'm surprised I couldn't order both rice and fries, but chose to buy fries instead. There was LOTS of food. And it all tasted really delicious. When we arrived at the agreed time, they were just getting the last things ready, absolutely perfect and we ate hot food, even though we had to drive 15 minutes.

24/03/2026: The prices feel hard to justify given the overall quality and taste. What’s being served doesn’t really match what you’d expect at that level. The kebabs themselves come across as fairly generic—closer to pre-processed, store-bought meat with added spices than something freshly prepared. The more “unprocessed” options, like chicken or beef, can be disappointing as well: often chewy, a bit dry, and heavily reliant on marinades to compensate rather than enhance. Service is another weak point. It doesn’t feel particularly genuine, and there’s a noticeable difference in how guests are treated, with ethnic Danish customers seemingly getting a warmer reception than others. The opening hours also make it less convenient than it could be. What makes it more frustrating is the context—Copenhagen and the surrounding area have plenty of strong kebab spots. Here, though, you’re left with limited alternatives nearby. Ironically, a short walk up the street gets you a simpler, cheaper döner that, while nothing special, is at least consistent—and the guy running it is friendly, welcoming, and seems to care about the people coming through the door

06/01/2026: A truly lovely and warm experience. Asks for help with ordering on the screen, which shows the options. I get the help, and that right up until payment. The food is excellent and impeccable. With the fine service when ordering, it is also informed, with a print and information about the number on the metal card, that the order will be served, as long as the metal card is placed visibly on the table, it looks like fine service. The atmosphere is calm and smiling. After eating, I take the tray to the waste disposal, and wow, it doesn't happen, of course it did, everything except the tray goes in, as waste. I point out my mistake to the staff and apologize for my mistake. It is taken very nicely, by polite staff. A thousand thanks, must be said for this indulgence. That in itself, with this experience, makes for a lovely evening. With best regards Susanne Madsen.
