12/11/2025: We had a buffet one evening at the smokehouse, there weren't many customers, the food was really good, as was the selection. Service is a bit so-so, it's self-service and the person at the bar disappeared every now and then, so we ran "dry" so to speak.

24/06/2025: Et par andre cykelentusiaster havde anbefalet Albis Kaffebar på hovedgaden i Hornbæk, og så måtte vi naturligvis gøre holdt her, da vejen faldt forbi. Albi ligger i en hyggelig, gammel villa og serverer alt, hvad hjertet begærer af brød, kager og virkelig god, stærk kaffe. Vi fik 2 kopper kaffe og 2 boller med pisket smør og ost. Prisen var i den høje ende, 190 kr., men kvaliteten var så også i orden. Varme anbefalinger herfra, hvis du er i Hornbæk og økonomien rækker.

16/08/2025: A super cozy restaurant with a great atmosphere and fantastic food, especially the fish dishes! We had the evening buffet and it was delicious. If you like fish, this is the place to be.

10/12/2025: Very disappointing experience Unfortunately, our visit to this La Galette restaurant in Copenhagen was extremely unpleasant, not because of the food, but because of the owner’s attitude. From the moment we arrived, we were treated in a disrespectful and dismissive way, which made us feel genuinely unwelcome. Instead of hospitality, we felt like we were bothering them just by being there. Because of this behavior, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. A restaurant should make its guests feel comfortable and appreciated, and this one did the exact opposite. I am certain I will not return.

02/12/2025: I never leave reviews, but this time I think it's important. I was so excited to finally go to this place I'd been hearing about since arriving in Denmark, and I couldn't wait to share a meal that reminded me of France for my birthday. And the meal was DELICIOUS, I want to emphasize that. But the service surprised me, and not in a good way. The waitress was very nice, but the manager, or at least I think he was, was rather rude and even made me jump when he got angry at some plates next to us. He was very friendly with the other customers, though. I don't understand why he behaved like that and was so grumpy towards us. I was looking forward to having a sweet crepe to finish the meal, but we ended up leaving before we could because of this kind of behavior, feeling unwelcome. And that's not even mentioning the fact that we were ignored several times, and we never received the water we asked for. And when it came time to pay, I admit I was a little confused because the manager spoke to me in Danish, which I don't fully understand yet, but after we paid, he didn't hide his annoyance and muttered something because we hadn't left a tip. But honestly, if I were you, you wouldn't have either. I really want to come back for the good food, the atmosphere, and to support a French restaurant, but I'm not sure I'll be well received... At least it reminded me why I left France in the first place.

17/10/2025: 08.10.2025 My girlfriend and me who come from England were stopping overnight in Tønder at the nearby Motel near the main train station for 1 night having travelled from Hamburg, and we were heading to Copenhagen the next day. So I had already reserved a table for dinner at this wonderful little boutique hotel. When we arrived the 3 young ladies working kindly welcomed us and all spoke very good English as we cannot speak Danish. We were early for the booking and they did offer for us to be seated immediately which was nice of them, but we insisted on having a pre-drink in their nice bar. I had a Steak Tartare while my girlfriend ate a Pork Cheek dish. Then for dessert I chose the Lemon Mousse while the Cheese & Biscuit platter was also chosen. All dishes were beautifully presented on their plates and were very flavoursome. Yes this may cost a little more than most average priced restaurants, but we got good quality for our money at least. Which is why I highly recommend this place for all kinds of guests, even travelling tourists like we were on the above date when we actually visited. And if I had more money on me I probably could've chosen to stay here, but the Motel suited me on this occasion because of our needs to use the local trains for our travels.

29/09/2025: We are so happy to visit Hostrups Hotel that we have been here in all seasons and enjoyed it every time. A very welcoming welcome means a lot to us - we get it. We have stayed in rooms in the main building and side wing and have been extremely satisfied: quiet and comfortable decor and really good beds. The food is always innovative, looks inviting and is tasty. A walk around the streets of Tønder and a visit to a nearby small German town are part of our stay, after which it is nice to come 'home' to Hostrups Hotel and rest our legs before dinner and a drink.

21/01/2026: Great place, good food, sweet and friendly staff

08/01/2026: Second visit to Masami, was a bit like giving it another chance again.. Since the first visit was a slightly trial experience.. with bad service, it was as if their eat what you can concept did not quite hold up, as you got the feeling along the way that now you had to finish your meal, because now you had had enough to eat, the feeling was that the more times they had to bring new food to the table, the service became more and more negative, this was repeated on the second visit as well, I don't think I am one of those who overeat and rob me. Some of the food was quite reliable, some below standard for quality, for example the sushi looked like something that was quickly mashed together, which quickly fell apart. So all in all a new trial experience, then your feet probably won't put it there again.

09/06/2025: Wonderful location and cosy retro interior. We were welcomed by a friendly young man. Access with wheelchair was good. Cool draft beer was nice. Good and plentiful food. Would recommend!

01/06/2025: I have wanted to visit this place for a long time and we will definitely be back. Wow, what an experience, waiters who are just in control and the food tasted amazing If I could give 6 stars I would. See you again

30/12/2025: Quite an excellent lunch - Avocado omelette - at a reasonable price of DKK 129. Here we were absolutely positively surprised. However, I am very disappointed that Café Victoria charges DKK 41 for 25 cl of water (regular tap water without fizzy water)

22/12/2025: It was usually a nice visit to Victoria. Had plaice on rye bread with shrimp and it tasted great. And at a reasonable price. We will be back.
