29/10/2025: We had a reservation, waited for 45 minutes to have our order taken, even though the place was not even remotely busy. Will never return nor order take away. Poor service.

26/10/2025: A few hours before our reservation the host called to tell us that the restaurant were overbooked for the evening. The host explained that this would influence the waiting time for our food and the quality of service, and that it would be much better for us to move our reservation to another location. The food was, like always, pretty good and the service at a minimum. But the whole booking-mishap is extremely unprofessional.

25/01/2026: The worst sushi we have had in Roskilde, both of us got bad stomach.. the taste was off/bad. Had driven to far to come back and complain.. Never ordering from there again.

18/01/2026: Despite sending multiple emails in advance to organize our group’s visit, the overall experience was well below average. The food was acceptable but nothing memorable, especially considering the high prices. Unfortunately, it was the service that nearly ruined the experience. To summarize, the restaurant was clearly understaffed, and this resulted in poor and, at times, rude service. Although four tables had been reserved for our group, the restaurant reassigned one of them to tourists without consulting us. Had some members of our group not canceled at the last minute, the situation would have been a complete disaster. While the staff eventually tried to do their best, only one waiter was assigned to our large group, which was far from adequate. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant.

06/01/2026: Like all restaurants at this address, it's very touristy. However, the food stands out positively: good, honest Danish home cooking. We had to wait a long time for our drinks at first, but after that, the service was quite quick and always friendly and attentive. If you're looking to eat at Nyhavn, then No. 41 is a good choice!

02/01/2026: Nice schnitzel with both cooked vegetables and a fresh salad. Large plate of fries on the side, all crispy and delicious. The food and service were top notch. The only thing that let it down was a radio playing loudly on a Chinese channel.

13/10/2025: For a very ordinary and classic grill bar, it was a really good and cozy experience to eat there. You got what you expected and knew, but with a little more, at a very nice price. Service and mood were top notch from the owner!

01/09/2025: Super nice food and service. We were on a motorcycle trip and when we were going to drive after the nice food, the motorcycle wouldn't start. The owner and staff were so nice and friendly and helped us with everything they could (jumping on their tongues) to get us going - and we succeeded. Thank you very much.

31/12/2025: Another delicious experience, pasta with shrimp and steak sandwich for the partner + a good beer. It is recommended, and at the right prices.

30/12/2025: After several unsuccessful attempts to get a table, we finally managed to get in and eat – and it was definitely worth the wait. The restaurant has a complete and different interior design, and the staff were both welcoming, smiling and extremely service-minded. The service was fast and efficient, the food was served beautifully, and the taste fully lived up to expectations. The portion size was also absolutely perfect. A clear and warm recommendation from here.

07/03/2026: 6 people for fried pork ad libitum, when the first round was eaten it took 40 minutes. Before the second round came, without any information from the staff who on the other hand seemed a bit like they were trying to avoid us. Sad experience and not worth the money at all

28/02/2026: Visited with 4 children and 3 adults. Very pleasant service and very nice food for the price. The group had both open sandwiches, steak and 2 children's menus and there was nothing that fell through in any way. Will definitely visit the place again when the summer comes

02/11/2025: Unfortunately, a rather unsatisfactory experience. We were a party of 7 people. We waited about 45 minutes, and even after this wait, some of the food was forgotten and was only served after we had noticed it 5 minutes later, as we hoped it would come soon. Incidentally, after a 30-minute wait, one of us had to be told that her food could not be prepared because it was sold out. In order for her not to have to wait unnecessarily long to eat, we decided to share our food with her. Far from okay. The lamb and veal skewers tasted fine, but the adanna dish was by no means pretty. The meat was not cooked sufficiently and if you stuck your fork in it, the meat crumbled and fell apart.
