23/09/2025: Always freshly made open sandwiches, delicious cakes and good service, all in the spirit of the 1950s.

27/07/2025: The sandwiches looked incredibly inviting, but the taste was a bit ruined by the fact that the green sprinkle turned out to be coriander. We ruined the taste of our egg/shrimp and ham/pork sandwich a bit. The young girls did great, but the “adults” had a more indifferent attitude.

05/10/2025: We were on our way back from a day trip and spontaneously decided to stop for a bite to eat. The food was good and we received friendly service. Don't let the exterior fool you.

The service is the best and thank you so much for the free shots and free Underberg too the other night , not sure if I’m a fan of that tho 😂 but it was so nice of the team to send it over for free too 🥰 couldn’t be a friendlier bunch, the guy in the pic sat with me and we had a laugh all night long, total Hygge ❤️ thank you guys I will be back as always. 01/10/2025: A bar with a rich history, a good bar, and plenty of options to choose from. Smoking is allowed inside, and there's no food menu, only drinks.

02/09/2025: We had a really nice evening at Madklubben Store Kongensgade 66. We were welcomed with smiles and there was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Our waiter Adam took care of everything we could wish for from start to finish, both in terms of serving food and drinks and attention to us. We enjoyed both starters, main courses and desserts. Thank you for a lovely evening.

01/08/2025: Small gas station but with everything you need. Really good coffee as expected. Nice and clean customer toilet.

Went in today with my husband and son to eat, but when we came in the 2 girls/waiters were busy with their private conversation instead of welcoming us guests, we were not welcomed or said hello at all. We left again, luckily there are a lot of other cafes on Nørrebrogade. Would give you 0 stars if possible.

12/09/2025: Having only arrived in Haderslev about an hour after 4 hours of travelling we found CAFE MAD. As seems the norm with Danes in the day & a half we've been here the staff were pleasant, polite & welcoming. We had their version of good old fish & chips - it was gorgeous & plentiful, so much so that my partner had to leave some. We would recommend anyone visiting Haderslev to "hunt down" CAFE MAD - IT'S TOTALLY WORTH IT. THANK YOU TO YOU ALL. Darren & Dawn from the UK.

19/09/2025: Great coffee, ice and beers. Did not try the sandwiches, but they should be good as well. The staff was also kind. Music was good, but as I was there at the end of the day in the off-season, I was as good as the only customer, so the atmosphere is probably better when it is slightly more busy.
