09/12/2025: We wanted lunch, and after several attempts at other places that were fully booked, ended up here at Il Gabbiano, and we will never regret it! A very nice girl welcomed us kindly, - the food came quickly after ordering, - the view is beautiful and the food…..FANTASTIC!!! We would LOVE to come back!!!

29/10/2025: Nice Italian restaurant. Well situated at the marina. Pizzas and other Italian dishes. Quick service. Fair priced. Perfect for a meal.

24/09/2025: The food was really delicious, but there was a road under construction right in the middle of the place. I told the staff that it was for inside use, but maybe it was because different countries have different concepts or something, so I was asked to eat my yogurt dinner and breakfast set on the side of the road without a table. Even though it's a developed country, it was still too much!

05/04/2026: A bit of a mixed bag, the hotel is iconic and beautiful from the outside, the rooms are a bit worn, but charming. The breakfast was ok, without overwhelming, and they should get the heating system a little warmer than it was. The snacks for their afternoon “degns hour” were a steal for the price, so skip them, the starter and dessert were also a bit on the expensive side. On the other hand, the main course, whole roast skarrissing, was fantastic and very reasonably priced, considering the location.

26/10/2025: It’s best to reserve a table in advance. I saw customers being ushered to outdoor seats (in the chilly 10°C weather) because the restaurant was fully booked. I enjoyed the flavorful lobster soup, which was the special dish of the day. My husband loved the open-faced roast beef sandwich—it was absolutely delectable—and the juicy IPA from Jacobsen. Our bill came to 1,029 DKK (about €140), and I highly recommend leaving a 10% tip for the hardworking and attentive waiting staff. It’s a lovely Danish tradition—the staff placed a small Danish flag on the table for us celebrating our birthdays. I had requested a window seat, and the staff graciously arranged it.

We weren't sure what to expect but with the guidance of an attentive and knowledgeable wait staff (Jorge) we had a meal with a perfect balance of tastes, textures and portions for our needs. 15/03/2026: Had a fantastic lunch at Viggo. Definitely a place I want to visit again and again. I think it's clear that they put a lot of effort into the food. From the composition of the ingredients in their club sandwich, to the homemade remoulade to the good fries. It was all remarkably good 🙌 We eat out a lot, and a lot of places you leave thinking, I could have done that just as well at home. But this was a really, really good experience and something I'm looking forward to experiencing again 😄

14/03/2026: Exquisite dinner and pleasant staff. We ordered a three-course meal with wine menu. The beef tartare was well-composed in flavor nuances and nicely presented. The beef roast was perfectly tender and delicious! Good desserts. The staff welcomed us and the service was very fluid. We were well looked after and are very satisfied with the visit. The wine menu went well with the dishes. The last stars in service would be in place with a presentation of the food and wine. Definitely worth a visit and a high recommendation for the pink beef roast as a main course

13/12/2025: There was a bit of a long wait after ordering.

30/11/2025: I have to say I'm disappointed, it was better when I picked it up the first time. This time half of the maki rolls were really small and therefore fell apart - the cheap half of the rolls were regular size. So I don't really know if it's to save money? In addition, there was tail inside the ebi roll itself, not so they stuck out and were visible to remove. But inside the roll, so you only noticed it after the bite was in your mouth. Not delicious.

17/04/2025: Lousy service. Was going to pick up package 3 behind the counter. 1 served a customer in the bakery the other 2 arranged bread. 2 stood and waited to pick up packages. And the 2 then continued to prepare bread, when one was finished she went and served me, when I had received my package I wanted to buy 2 buns, she couldn't take it and called her at the bakery department.... it seems too bad to have to wait for a package when there are 2 who could dispatch 😡

27/01/2026: I have often been to Hai Yi with my family and friends and there is always a welcome and when we leave with full bellies of various foods, ice cream and coffee - a big smile on their lips with thanks for today and a safe return home. The dirty plates are quickly removed, and even though it is very busy, they come almost immediately and take our order.

01/01/2026: I have never had such bad food. The food was cold, sticky and tasteless. There were 18 of us who were looking forward to delicious food, but unfortunately we had to leave hungry because no one wanted to finish eating. This is the first and last time we visit the restaurant. Over 3000 kr went out the window.

31/07/2025: Ein schöner Abend mit einer Atmosphäre in der man sich sehr wohl fühlt. Freundlicher Service inklusive, die einzelnen Speisen waren gut, jedoch könnte bei dem Hauptgericht eine Beilage nicht stören. Die Preise sind doch ziemlich hoch angesetzt für das Gebotene und zwischen Hauptgericht und Dessert musste man doch sehr lange warten. Aber mit Sicherheit kein Fehler….

01/07/2025: I am quite sad having been so many times to this restaurant in the past, to the point I’d go to Copenhagen as an excuse to experience it again. Team has changed and I mean no disrespect but it is very different. Wines were ok, most plates blunt. Congrats on the dessert that was awesome and good coffee. Waiter didn’t even bother to ask me if I enjoyed it. For those who didn’t know radio before it might work very well for you. For the others, please consider before trying again
