06/10/2025: The waitress didn't feel like serving us, but they did anyway. The hot dogs were ridiculous. The buns were way too small. All the fried onions fell off because there were way too many fried onions on this utterly ridiculous hot dog.

20/02/2026: We had a really lovely evening at [Café Name] yesterday. The atmosphere was super cozy – soft lighting, comfortable chairs and that real Danish café vibe. The waiters were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I had the roast pork with parsley sauce and potatoes – it was perfectly cooked, crispy and juicy, and the sauce was just like mom used to make it (high praise!). My wife had the grilled salmon with seasonal vegetables, and she said it was the best she had eaten in months. The portions were nice, the prices were reasonable, and the wine we were recommended was a perfect match. We left feeling full and happy – we will definitely be back! 5 out of 5 stars 🌟

17/08/2025: Heading: Eminent shrimp food in incredibly cozy surroundings We had been recommended the shrimp dish and it must be said that it did not disappoint in any way. On the contrary, we do not remember when we have had a better one. Fresh ingredients, plenty of shrimp, delicious sourdough and a delicious home-made mayo In the right amount without being vulgar. Simple, but shows what it does when you treat your ingredients well. The potato dish was also delicious and highly recommended, but the shrimp dish was the one you remember. Thank you for the food and good service with a nice bad humor The cake has been a little surprisingly expensive, and in several places you have not felt you got value for money, but that was not the case here

15/08/2025: Very cozy in the garden. We were only here for a quick coffee and a beer, but what the people had on their tables didn't look bad.

24/10/2025: Not recommended.... Pork roast sandwich tasted old 🤢 Sandwich with steak and bearnaise was not a good experience either Smørrebrød was ok but salt and pepper cost 3 kroner per piece. 😅

22/08/2025: Sweet and helpful baker lady who helped me find my way around the other side of the super annoying roadworks on Buderupholmvej. I had taken a 20 minute detour to end up in the same place without being able to get through. The whole trip home from Hadsund took twice as long as usual because of the roadworks 🤬 BUT the baker lady helped me. Thank you so much for that. 🤩❤️

23/02/2026: I had the pleasure of having dinner with my wife at La Viva in Slagelse last Saturday. We both ordered a 3-course menu, and I must say that it is some of the best food I have had in a long time. La Viva is located close to the other cafes in town, but they stand out by having a fairly extensive menu. In addition, we were personally served by the owner himself, who was both polite and professional. The only small minus was that our table was right on the “transport road” from the kitchen, so there was a lot of traffic passing us. But all in all, a place we will definitely visit again!

15/02/2026: Went in with my 3 year old son, asked if they could make a half size hot cocoa, and it was no problem🙌🏻. Got a cappuccino myself which was also quite good. Super sweet service and quick service. ☺️

27/08/2025: Just drove home from the hotel and am very disappointed. Had booked a weekend stay with breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant the menu was according to the chef's choice Friday I cleared with the chef that the stay included both parts both days. First we experience a very inexperienced waiter who did not know which stay we were at. The two we spoke to kept mentioning something about Risskov and there was no table reserved and the food was not included in our stay either? We tried to tell them that we had coordinated Friday with the chef and they kept whining about Risskov doing such and such. We end up finding another place to eat and since the breakfast was not what you think it was something special. We agreed to drive home early. The apartment was ok. But worn out and several sockets did not work. We will not be back. Feel a bit like we were taken by the nose. Update! Have received a response from the hotel on trust pilot. We did NOT get free drinks either day. We declined the drinks we ordered because we wanted to find somewhere else to eat before we went home. However, they should probably rephrase their confirmation so that misunderstandings can be avoided. Several people have seen ours and agreed with us that it looks complicated.
