De bedste restauranter

06/07/2025: A small but cozy place. The food is very good and the prices are reasonable, considering Denmark! The wine list is a bit limited. For me, it's missing a good Ribera del Duero or Rioja. It's worth a visit.

30/05/2025: Disappointing. The food is way too salty. Either the chef didn't taste it or he likes salty food. Service doesn't respond to this at all.

22/06/2025: Cozy restaurant. The price is a bit high compared to what you get. Delicious food. Good vegetable juice. Cozy atmosphere inside the restaurant.

18/05/2025: Received this response from the owner after the review below of the restaurant. It is under all criticism. They have subsequently deleted the response again. Their response: Shut up, you are just a picky eater and have the taste buds of a three-year-old My review: The food does not live up to the description at all. Their "waffles" are apple slices pressed in a waffle maker without jam. The "Greek yogurt with fruit compote and coconut crunch" is vanilla yogurt with blackcurrant jam and coconut flour. Their "pineapple with mint and pine nuts" were old pineapple pieces and completely soft old mint with bell pepper pieces in between (evidence of old pineapple from another dish?). The bread was tasteless. The service was sweet but terribly slow. The place is nicely decorated with good acoustics. All in all, a terrible experience and we will NOT be back.

05/02/2025: We had super delicious food and great service 🤗 We got someone else's order delivered (Wolt's mistake I think) and the restaurant delivered our correct order without any problems. We got samosa, pappadam, naan, curry paneer, chicken tikka masala and rice and everything was really good 👏🏼🌟

16/08/2025: I have ordered open sandwiches from them for various events and have never been disappointed. Beautiful and highly plated.

13/08/2025: Cheapest smørrebrod I've had and it is respectable, it does not pack much flavor but good enough to fill my hunger. Giving it a four for now until I try the other variants.

26/06/2025: Arrive at the ice cream parlor at 11:10...on their website it says they open at 11 but there wasn't a soul to be found🤔since we've been walking around for 3 hours and really need a cup of coffee☕️☕️🍦🍨🍪🍪so we decide to call the owner and ask when they'll be coming😂we get a hold of a gentleman who says we'll be there at 12🤗we walk a little more and then come back and now it's open🤩we get our long-awaited coffee/cookies/ice cream😋and they finally had oat milk for the coffee🤩so we were very satisfied🤗

24/08/2025: The place is good but Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience with one of the staff member(blonde hair, petite height chubby girl). While we were simply enjoying ourselves, she approached us and told us to stop showing affection, which we would have understood if it was said politely. However, instead of being professional, she used disrespectful language toward me(attacked me specially), which I found offensive and very uncalled for. I believe customer service should be handled respectfully, even if a rule needs to be enforced. This experience left us feeling uncomfortable, and I hope management looks into it so future guests are treated with more professionalism. She should remember that she gets salary because we go and spend there.

23/07/2025: Definitely not a place we will come back to, we felt like we were in trouble. The menu card was slammed on the table where we were standing. Shortly after, another waiter came and asked if we were ready, not quite ☺️ we found a table ourselves and sat down. We called the first waiter who came through the door, but it wasn't her table, apparently not the other waiter's either. He chose to pass us 3 times without seeing us. After 15 minutes we left our table and found another restaurant.

31/08/2025: Unfortunately I can't give less than 1 star. So disappointing 3 pizzas 508 kr 80% in the trash We had no way of seeing who was supposed to pay for what, we ordered olives and mushrooms on 2 pizzas and mozzarella on all 3 of them, but the bill said 3xparmasan, 2x shrimp, 2x spaghetti, 2x asparagus, and 1x pepperoni. The explanation for the very unappetizing appearance was that we had ordered mozzarella. It was very far from worth 508 kr.

29/07/2025: Vi bestilte to frokostplatter á 179,- kr. på Café Valentin i Hillerød. Ventede så i hele 40 min. på servering! Men okay, de havde travlt, og vi kunne jo nyde øllen imens. Til hver platte hørte kun 1 stk. rugbrød og to små hvedestykker. Noget i underkanten til både fiskefilet, hønsesalat og rejer, medmindre man vil spise rent pålæg. Og så til 179,- kr. Vi bad derfor om et ekstra stk. rugbrød hver. De kom hurtigt, ikke noget problem (som man også kun kan forvente). MEN da vi så skulle betale, blev der lagt 29,- kr oveni regningen: 14,50 kr for hver af de små stk. rugbrød! Det har vi ligegodt aldrig oplevet andre steder! Hvor småligt. Er det virkelig politikken hos Café Valentin - eller var vi bare uheldige med den i Hillerød?

20/07/2025: We stopped in before visiting the nearby castle. We were impressed with the speed of the service and enjoyed the lunch offerings. I opted for the salmon and avocado salad while my husband went for the chicken salad smørrebrød. Both were tasty and we were able to enjoy a nice but quick lunch so we could spend our time in the castle. I highly recommend this option if you are visiting the castle.

09/06/2025: Trendy restaurant, although the "service soigné" is somewhat lacking. Our red wine was very expensive and not particularly good.
