26/11/2025: Absolutely fantastic place. If you want to experience a restaurant with charm, the most wonderful service and delicious food, look no further. Cafe Ulla Terkelsen has it all and even more. The staff even had the energy to bring a bowl of water and a piece of chicken for our four-legged companion. We have NEVER experienced that before. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We have found our favorite place in Aalborg.

21/10/2025: A bakery with such a good reputation should really pay more attention to quality. The last two times I bought green bread, the bread was old and frozen, there was even ice inside! 😤 When I asked why, I was just told ‘come and get your money back’. It seems like the most important thing for them is to get rid of the goods, not to satisfy the customers.

01/03/2026: Don't order takeaway in the middle of the day! Almost insulted that I wouldn't wait 30 minutes for a menu for 1 person, which was by the way some of the most boring and far from fresh sushi I've ever had. Too bad.

14/12/2025: Have been here several times and will definitely come back. Really delicious food at reasonable prices. We have also had our 4 year old with us, with great success. He was even allowed to mix his own plate from the children's menu, without any problems.

27/10/2025: Delicious sushi made on site and served fresh. Are you tired of running sushi? Then try Kaku Sushi. A better experience and the quality is top notch. Kaku is also my favorite take away sushi. The food is always ready at the agreed time and delivered beautifully and presentably, ready to put on the table.

07/08/2025: Nice sushi – but disappointing buffet experience. We will probably stick to takeaway in the future. We visited the restaurant on a weekday evening at 7:00 PM with the expectation of a relaxed and cozy buffet experience. Unfortunately, the evening was characterized by long waiting times, impersonal service and a rushed end. Reception and service: We were quickly shown to a table and given an iPad to order. It worked fine in practical terms, but the experience was not that welcoming or personal. Waiting time and food: The first order was placed immediately, but we waited 40 minutes, despite only four active tables. Although we could still get appetizers, it was the sushi that we came for. The second round also took the plus 40 minutes, after which we were told that there was no sushi rice. At 8:30 PM we asked when the food would arrive, and were told that the food would arrive in 5 minutes. At that time we had only had approx. 4 pieces of sushi each and 4 appetizers. The sushi finally arrived at 8:35 PM, but we were now the only remaining table. The rest of the meal felt rushed and disrupted by the beginning of the shutdown at 8:55 PM, when we were told by the waitress that the kitchen closed at 9 PM, so we had 5 minutes to quickly order the rest of the food. This was also noticeable in the food, for example the tempura shrimp in the appetizer had been cooked at too high a temperature and tasted burnt, and they had forgotten an item from our order.

25/12/2025: Myself working in the food biz and having personally being part of the whole BMO scene, I know how hard it is to deliver a consistently good product. Maybe only one bun out of the +30 buns I’ve had from Ard in the past year, have been just below near perfect. Says a lot. There’s plenty of bakeries in cph that specializes in BMOs, but very few make a bun consistently this good. Sesame seeds on both sides, airy crumb, well caramelized, thick pieces of cheese and descent amount of butter. The only thing I can critique is the butter, not sure if they season their own, but if they do, they could throw in a little for salt. Just my preference. Anyway, all in all the sesame bun is a 5/5. Shared Top 1 spot (in my opinion there’s only 2 good ones, no need to name the other one) Keep up the solid work Peace

27/08/2025: Best Pizza i have had in a while.. I was sad to see the Just eat app be so bad. so i recommend in person the most. They have a seating area and are generous with servings. Lovely Pizza Place
