De bedste restauranter

01/09/2025: Huge disappointment. Was here with good friends for a lovely evening out. Mediocre food which unfortunately did not live up to expectations. In general the food lacked salt/seasoning. The main course which was chicken was served cold and for one of us raw (!). We were given a new serving which was warmer (and not raw) were offered an extra glass of wine and they apologized. We will not be back.

23/08/2025: Very good and innovative food. We liked the watercress icecream that accompanies the fish course very much, as well as the caviar with icecream. They also have an excellent selection of cheese, especially their Danish drunken dog cheese, it’s the best blue cheese I’ve had (speaking as someone without any predisposition towards blue cheese in the first place!). Also nice wine, their crémant d’Alsace is definitely worth trying, for its outstanding quality.

26/07/2025: 2 gange bøf bearnaise skulle være medium rare, næsten gennemstegt 2 gange stegt flæsk halvdele ikke stegt. det blev påtalt til tjeneren hvor til han siger det er hvad der kan ske.

08/07/2025: Buffet on a Sunday. The staff were polite and the service was good. Unfortunately the food was uninspiring and much of it seemed like "food from a big bucket". There were a few highlights, but overall it was dull.

07/08/2025: Wonderfully authentic Vietnamese food and great service. Best pho I’ve tasted in Denmark so far. Really rich broth and high quality beef. They provide bird’s eye chilli too if you request it - special treat for all lovers of spice.

16/08/2025: Very expensive for what it is. The dishes are tiny and not very good. Poor quality ratio.

17/07/2025: We came there around 15:30, asked the waiter if we can seat outside, he said yes. After we got to our table (which was complicated with a stroller) and I went inside to ask for a menu, another waiter said that the kitchen is closed and will open at 17:00. 1. I believe it is not so difficult to add proper working hours to the Google maps, we walked all the way to this place because it was marked as “open” when others had “kitchen closed” on Google maps. 2. I still don’t understand why it was so difficult to tell us that the kitchen is closed when we just came.

12/09/2025: Fantastic experience! 🍣🥢 Oriental has a really delicious selection of sushi, Asian tapas and hot buffet – everything tastes fresh and homemade. The staff is always smiling and helpful, and you feel very welcome. We were explained how the buffet works, and it was all easy and pleasant. Perfect place for families – we will definitely come again! 🙌✨

12/09/2025: Super cozy place in the heart of Odense! 🍜🍣 The food is always fresh and tasty, and there is plenty to choose from in the buffet – both sushi, hot dishes and small Asian tapas. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is relaxed, so you can enjoy time with the family. We are already looking forward to our next visit! 🙏✨

17/08/2025: Unfortunately, our visit didn't go perfectly. It was Saturday evening - prime time. The terrace was busy, and the dining room was half full. From the beginning, I had the feeling that the service was understaffed. The ladies were constantly on the go and seemed a bit stressed. We had initially asked to be seated inside because it was getting chilly and windy outside. Since reservations were still pending, we had to sit outside. 45 minutes later - only after the third request and on our own initiative - were we finally able to sit inside. Our food was already served, and we went inside with our plates. Some tables inside were unoccupied the entire time, which was a bit of a shame. We could have gone in from the beginning, or at least after a short wait. We ordered a burger with gravy and a burger with Béarnaise sauce. The former was great, but the latter didn't taste as good. Overall, the value for money was unfortunately only mediocre. With more staff, the evening might have been better for us, as no one seemed to be keeping track of everything. A menu in English might also be desirable. Overall, only 3.5 stars!

02/08/2025: Good burger at a reasonable price. A little small in size but tasted good. The chef had experimented with putting spring onions on top, unfortunately it didn't work but otherwise a job well done.

28/08/2025: Really cozy little place that serves both traditional grill bar food, but also delicious spreadable bread, pita and sandwiches etc. The sweetest and most wonderful staff also deserves all the stars they can get 🤩

14/07/2025: Havde bestilt smørrebrød og et par grillretter til afhentning. Smørrebrødet var klart og grillretterne blev lavet til afhentningstidspunktet. Begge ting, var præcist som de skulle være.

06/08/2025: We stayed in a safari tent for three nights in August. The campsite had limited facilities and was very quiet. The children loved the playground and the bouncy castle. There was also a bread service. The shower facilities were a bit outdated and basic, but perfectly fine. Everything worked properly.
