11/08/2026: He was more surly and unpleasant, did not greet customers, and when you asked him something, he answered back in a very heavy and unpleasant way. The food was pretty good, but the service was not good at all.

29/06/2026: This kebab is really, I ordered durum with kebab for 55 kr which is a really good price. Meat and vegetables are fresh, But I loved the durum tortilla the most, it's a little crispy, And it looks like my mother's durum when I was a child

15/09/2026: Bilka is excellent. Occasionally you can be unlucky but generally a good place to shop as Bilka has almost everything.

27/08/2026: Great café with excellent food! We ate there and it was relatively quiet, which might be due to the slightly higher prices – but these are perfectly normal for Denmark. Café Mauritz impressed us completely: Taste & Presentation: The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Service: The service was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and quick. If you're in Sønderborg and looking for good food in a relaxed atmosphere, you definitely can't go wrong here. We'll gladly come back!

21/08/2026: My (now) husband and I went there in September 2024 to celebrate our engagement. I had picked the restaurant with the highest reviews, 4.9 stars back then. I don’t think I have ever been treated this bad in a restaurant. We don’t drink any alcohol, which seemed like a major problem for the staff. Upon telling them, their smiles vanished from their faces and we received the soft drink menu only after explicitly asking for it. We usually have a laugh with staff at restaurants, but we felt so uncomfortable here. Service was horrible, which would have been acceptable if the pizza had been great. Unfortunately, this was not the case. We‘re Europeans, we eat pizza every week, we‘ve been to Naples and had loads of pizza, we have a professional pizza oven — you get the message. I have NEVER had to use salt and pepper to spice up my pizza. It was completely bland!! Why am I writing this now? I had completely forgotten about it and we went to a great place to get dessert afterwards, but this experience always comes back up in conversations, because it was so incredibly bad. We had such high hopes and were completely let down.

10/08/2026: Arrogant waiter who couldn’t answer basic menu questions. Ordered the “upstairs beef with mushrooms,” which should come with whole roasted potatoes — got fries instead, no explanation, no asking. Were told there were no burgers available, yet saw burgers served at the tables right next to us minutes later. Food was okay, but the service ruined the experience. Won’t be back.

09/08/2026: The food was ok but not great for the price. The kids were very happy with the build-your-own burger and the cabonara. The fish of the day didn't taste much and the salmon was a bit dry.

22/04/2026: I found Café Gaya again. There were no customers at the counter, so I asked how it worked there, wherever it was. I was not greeted with kindness and commitment. I am going to an event on July 8th. The guy who checked me in may have had a bad day and was not curious about what I wanted. So it was fine. Another employee came down to the garden to me with my coffee and the most beautiful dried fruit ball. Will be back soon.

13/08/2026: Very good restaurant just by the port. We enjoyed the food, tried 6 dishes... The service was exceptional - we got explanations on the dishes, and the spice level, and found the right dishes for each one in our group Thanks!

17/09/2026: Good service, allowed to eat outside. But the portions! Thought it was a joke. Ordered a snack in the form of a Croquette, got one small ball the size of a small walnut. As their "Larger plates" we ordered, among others, Cassoulet for 175,- and Tagliatelle for 215,-, not particularly interesting taste and the pasta undercooked hard, that is, harder than al dente. But most importantly, got such small portions that you felt completely stupid. Small bowl with 3 good mouthfuls, that's it. Therefore chose not to order more and left just as hungry as when we came. Dear Apéro, there must be a limit to how small portions you can serve.

07/08/2026: Ordered through Wolt the worst dolma on earth. Tasted like plastic and smelled very bad. They were 110% not from the day. They tasted really bad and were thrown out, think you can afford to sell something like that to your customers! The store would also not cooperate. Never buy from Zeyara again!
