16/09/2026: Good food but space at long table made it a bit difficult to talk

06/09/2026: Really bad experience. I had ordered a BMO to go, but they had run out of sourdough buns. To be fair, I chose another bun instead. When I sat down outside on the bench in the sun, I wanted to take a bite and discovered that there was no old crunch on it either, which I had paid extra for. So I went back inside, where they told me that they had run out of the cheese I had ordered extra. Of course, that can happen, but then you should be told so that you have the opportunity to choose something else — or at least get your money back without having to discover the mistake yourself and go back and ask for it. In addition, we had bought a sausage horn, which they asked if we wanted heated. We said yes, but it was not heated either and was therefore cold, dry and really boring. I just moved to the area and had actually been looking forward to using the café a lot, but after my first experience, we probably won't be back.

01/06/2026: A very nice bar with friendly service and a small selection of beers and cocktails. Definitely worth a visit! The prices are absolutely fine. Best regards from Germany.✌️

02/07/2026: Played with my then band at Rust in the late summer of '96. A really nice place even then. Haven't been there since then, but will visit in August.

02/08/2026: We each had a glass on Saturday. The pub was supposed to be absolutely fantastic and so was the atmosphere, that is, a fantastic classic pub. But unfortunately smoking was allowed 🚬 🚬🚬🚬🚬 inside the premises🤢🤢🤢🤢🙈🙈🙈🙈!!!! So for our part, we will never set foot there again and the rating will be accordingly🙈😂.

10/05/2026: Their iced coffee tasted practically nothing and was the size of a Coke. and the service was half bad.

30/07/2026: Really bad food we all got. The fish tasted so much like fish that it was inedible. And the rest was tasteless.. 1425kr for extremely poor food.

25/07/2026: Delicious lunch at Kjøbstaden. We had Stjernekaster, burger and vegetarian Caesar salad. All three dishes tasted really good. We had really good and competent service. We paid 840 kr, which is an ok price in relation to taste, portion size and service.

30/07/2025: Really delicious 3-course menu! The wife had a delicious cocktail, I had soda and the kids had mocktails. Sweet and friendly service. It's always a good sign when the waiter asks if you want a little break between courses. Absolutely good value for money!

09/04/2026: Always a pleasure to visit Olive. I actually don't understand how you can have such good quality for that price. At the same time excellent service! Our table reservation was cancelled due to illness at the last minute, but then we were offered free service the following day. It's a service you don't get anywhere else. Will always recommend this place <3

27/03/2026: Maria, who runs the restaurant and cooks the food herself, is simply amazing. The food tastes AMAZING, you feel at home, the acoustics are good and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. We enjoy it every time we eat there. You can bring your own wine, so the price level is as you wish ❤️ Monday - Thursday you can get 3 courses for 295, that's a really good price for such delicious food!
