14/11/2025: My favorite place to eat pizza! I have ordered 25 pizzas for take-away for guests and a few just for a delicious dinner. Everything is good, the ingredients are top notch and the crust is thin, crispy and just as it should be. You won't be disappointed!

30/10/2025: The prices are going up and up and they charge 15 kr extra for extra chicken and you can't even tell the difference between extra and not extra. Upset stomach after eating.

30/11/2025: Really good food and atmosphere, we where there for our companies Xmas dinner. How ever it was a bit chaotic when I checked in. First the receptionist said room 24 instead of 42, not a big problem it can happen if you switch between Danish and english. Then room 42 had no key so they moved me to room 1, no problem they solved this quick. BUT when I went to bed very late at around 0:30, someone was moving furniture around in the room over me for at least half an hour. Who does that in the middle of the night?

18/11/2025: There was one minus and a very big one. We were a large group. The food was paid in advance, but we had to pay for drinks individually and that via room number/name, but there was no control at all and the prices of the drinks were not cheap. If I were to come there again for an overnight stay, I insist that it be with payment with what was ordered, so that you don't end up paying for something you haven't drunk. It gives a bad atmosphere when the accounts don't match, both ways. Boring on an otherwise good experience. It's generally a bit cold in the place, but it's a really cozy place.

06/09/2025: Always great quality and taste. This little bakery might look like it's just part of Meny, but it's actually it's own little business. What ever you buy you won't be disappointed. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Amazing place!

12/08/2025: I went in to buy 4 rolls for 35 kr. Paid with a 100 kr. note. The girl with long artificial nails took the note and gave me 65 kr. back. She didn't use the bread tongs to put the bread in place, but took it with her hand – the same hand she had just used to accept the money and give change. Money and nails are dirty, so I won't buy bread from there again.

16/09/2025: Delicious shooting star with pan-fried fresh plaice, steamed as well and lots of shrimp. We asked for rye bread with it and got it deliciously warm toasted. Super sweet and friendly service. For dessert we bought ice cream from the same place's ice cream parlor - yummy. So from us, a big THANK YOU for a cozy and good experience. We'll be back!

16/09/2025: We ordered herring, hoping for a typical Danish culinary experience. We were served very sweet, industrial-flavored herring with a caper, a few red onion rings, and three thin slices of bread, all for 159 DKK each!! And we had to pay 35 DKK for tap water! TAP WATER!!! Don't go there, it's a tourist trap!

01/10/2025: We were there this afternoon for coffee and cake and enjoyed the beautiful weather on the large terrace. The staff first brought water for our dogs, which I really appreciated. The service itself was incredibly friendly and in a good mood. There was always someone nearby without being intrusive. The food was delicious, and we also loved the atmosphere. We'd love to come back next time we visit Skagen.

08/09/2025: Friendly service, good service, including a water bowl for the dog. The food wasn't cheap, but the portions were relatively small, and very tasty. We highly recommend it!

31/08/2025: Unfortunately, our high expectations were not met. We were looking forward to spending an evening at Mefisto’s Pizza Bar, but the overall experience turned out to be very disappointing. The service seemed overwhelmed by the demand, unfriendly, and quite unorganized. Mistakes happened repeatedly. For example, we ordered white wine but were served red wine. At the table next to us, a wrong pizza was delivered, which after five minutes on their table was then simply passed on to the correct guests. It took about an hour from placing our order until our pizzas arrived (on a Sunday evening). When they finally came, the pizzas looked nice but tasted rather average. Our impression was that appearance was prioritized over actual flavor. The atmosphere in the restaurant was another drawback: extremely loud, very crowded, and filled with overly drunk guests. This made it difficult to enjoy the evening. Overall, we did not feel welcome. We truly wanted to like the place and feel sorry for the staff, but the experience fell far below what we had expected.

24/08/2025: The pizzas were cooked to perfection, different seating areas. We managed to get a table without reservation on a busy Friday evening. The staff was nice. Lots of beers to try (although we got some tap beers but they were not quite full glass, only complaint). Pricey but that's everywhere in Denmark.

25/10/2025: I'm sitting in Copenhagen preparing a drive to Messecenter Herning, and see an advertisement on Facebook for a restaurant with good steaks. I thought that this is where the food should be eaten after a day at the fair When I arrive, a large group is getting off a tourist bus and when you look in through the windows the place looks pretty full. This can be a good sign that a restaurant attracts many guests. I come in and the waiters are buzzing around to serve the guests and I only waited a short time despite the busyness and was seated at a bar. They apologized that they had no other seats and greeted me with a free beer or water. I ordered a menu recommended by the waiters and a tapas starter. Here I got onion rings, cheese balls, chicken strips and cheese gratin nachos with bbq dip as a starter and a 200 gram tenderloin (medium rare) with rustic fries and whiskey sauce. The starter was almost enough for 2 people and you could really taste it was good quality products. The nachos were completely standard and if there was a minus, there could have been a little guacamole with it too so it was easier to eat chips. The main course offered standard sized fries and a well-cooked steak. It was fried to perfection and the meat was super tender. On the steak was a baked carrot 🥕. It would have been appropriate with a few more vegetables, maybe a little salad. The service is great and the waiters are very attentive to the guest's well-being and satisfaction. Huge praise from here and high recommendation.
