25/08/2025: We were there on a Sunday around 9 p.m. It was a mess. The Coke was lukewarm and still. The fries were too salty.

21/08/2025: We visited EMPTY THE LAGO on their first night with concepts on Saturday. And what an experience!! We had no idea what we were getting into, but were surprised in the best way. So if you are in need of a fun night in good company and with good food, try their new Saturday concept. And a special thanks to Oscar our waiter, he couldn't have done it better ❤️

10/08/2025: We were really disappointed with our experience at Lago. The restaurant is tiny and tightly packed, and we were seated at bar table seats for two where there was barely enough space to move our arms. The food, unfortunately, was equally underwhelming. The starters came in extremely small portions, and both the shrimp and octopus were dry and lacking any flavor. Dessert didn’t redeem the meal either. Overall, the quality of the food is far from what you’d expect for the price. I would not recommend this place at all.

29/07/2025: It's a regular kiosk with delicious ice cream and hot dogs. But over the years, the service has declined somewhat. The waffles used to be baked live in the shop, which was delicious. But as I said, everything's fine there; we always enjoy going there.

19/08/2025: With its shooting star, you can appreciate the care taken in its preparation. The shrimp are tender and fresh, the fish is well-fried with the right batter, the vegetables are fresh, and the bread is well-toasted with a soft, pleasant touch of butter. It's a place I would return to.

25/07/2025: I ordered some beef and lamb skewers, but the meat was very tough and hard to chew—especially the fatty parts, which were particularly unpleasant. While the service was friendly and the overall taste of the dishes was decent, the quality of the ingredients did not meet my expectations. For this price point, I expected much better.

28/08/2025: MISERABLE. THE FOOD was 0 stars. Got a Shooting Star I wouldn't even serve to people or animals. Had to pick up the food myself and clean up. Will NEVER come here again.

13/08/2025: The location and the presented menu are a perfect match! It's a beautiful spot by the harbor, with lovely views. Don't be put off by the somewhat football-canteen-like decor of the cafe; the food is of excellent quality, I'd say upscale restaurant level! We had a delicious meal here.

17/08/2025: BBQ sauce for burger doesn't match, at 130+kr not recommended, you're wasting your money....Ella pizza is better.....dirty ranch taste of cheap food.

09/08/2025: Really bad experience - I will get to the food but let me start with the hygiene. I have serious doubts this restaurant is operating legally. The only entrance to the customer's bathroom is through the kitchen, which is a major red flag - there should be no contamination possible between the two. Secondly the only ventilation in the restaurant is from a fan, it was 21 degrees outside but probably 30+ inside because of the pizza oven that was running. Going through the (dirty) bathroom to the kitchen I could observe many ingredients including the cheese sitting there at room temperature. There is no way the food can be safe when cheese is sitting there outside at 30 degrees. Finally the food - it's not great. The lasagna came in a cheap aluminium packaging (see the photo). The penne bolognese were really bad, I suspect bad quality meat. The only upside - margherita pizza was decent - the best thing about it was the dough. If it were only about the bad food quality I would not have posted this novel of a review. But I am really concerned about the hygiene rules which are 100% not respected here. Don't risk your health by going to this place.

19/08/2025: The person who served us was super friendly! Burgers tasted great and extra wishes were no problem at all. Chai Latte was great too. Good place to have some dinner!

10/08/2025: Apparently they have started using sticky meat like mc d, after the price of beef has increased. 150 kr for a menu, and then you get a burger that tastes terrible and of nothing. Last time I order there. 🤬🤬🤬

04/09/2025: Kanalu is slowly fading and looking tired. I wonder why the outdoor furniture is not maintained regularly, there are so many guests. I have been there twice during the week and both times I have experienced a lack of employees and those who were at work seemed tired. There were so many bugs both inside and outside that it was impossible to enjoy your food or coffee. Even employees were afraid to serve and stand at the cash register, bugs everywhere! Both times there was no ice cream and whipped cream for their apple cake, and we had to wait a long time for our order. Considering that it is quite expensive, it is a shame that the many bugs and maintenance of the surrounding area are not taken care of.

23/07/2025: An interesting concept that's unfortunately not as common in Germany. Lots of small stands with food and draft beer. The pizza stand is highly recommended. You can also play games that are available there.

13/07/2025: Great food, plenty of choice between several streetfood stands like Greek, Thai, Italian, .. We went for Thai, Pokebowl and a pizza.. with fresh homemade lemonade and a Carlsberg draft beer. Very nice setting & vibe 👌🤘
