26/11/2025: Had the best green curry dish today. It's perfectly balanced in taste and consistency. 🥰🥰

10/09/2025: Just been in to eat and it seems like you're a nuisance if you joke about the dishes and if you're a little hard of hearing you're labeled as aggressive but speak a little louder than others and were pretty much not wanted in the restaurant

18/08/2025: Ok place, but small portions at inflated prices. Nice staff and nice beer.

16/08/2025: Got a table on the terrace and a super nice waiter! Ate tartar, guinea fowl and fish of the day. Plus for the delicious bread that we got refills. Large selection of white and red Burgundies! Thanks Nadja(?) for the super service! A bit small menu, otherwise we would have definitely come back during our stay..

02/12/2025: It's simply too slow. I waited 21 minutes for some burgers. The staff is running around and making fun of each other in the kitchen and are extremely unproductive. Simply not good enough.

23/11/2025: If the manager can't provide good service, it doesn't give me confidence that the other employees can either. She chose to double check my order, even though I had clearly chosen a burger without cheese, and when it turned out I was right, she was visibly irritated. This is unprofessional and not the first time I have experienced poor service. I therefore unfortunately have to cancel my subscription and cannot recommend the place.

15/12/2025: Simply amazing pasta and pizza but no talent for steak. With a healthy appetite my brother and I both ordered the Pasta al Ragù as primi. I was then tempted to diverge from earlier visits and try the most expensive item on the menu: Bistecca ai ferri, and with it some Patate al forno. I also found a red wine to pair it with. For dessert we finished off with Gelato alla vaniglia. The Pasta was great, a good sized dish, the just right temperature for the parmigiano to have maximum effect together with the ragout. The diced potatoes fried in rosemary and garlic oil were excellent as well and set up the pitfalls that was the main course. The grilled robeye was ordered medium rare and both looked and smelled delicious, to my supreme disappointment however it was simply tasteless in the most literal use of the word. It was boring and instantly overpowered by both wine and potato meant to compliment its flavour. Still hungry I made my disappointment clear to the waiter and made an unfortunate mistake as due to the time it took to get a waiter I did not ask for the menu, I simply ordered a pizza that I remembered: The Diavola. This truly wonderful pizza did of course completely clash with the red wine and as such further impacted the experience. It did however arrive swiftly which I commend them for. Lastly the ice cream a perfectly sweet solace from the slightly soured experience. It should be noted that we still paid full price for the ribeye. Despite this I would gladly dine here again, as I have before, the atmosphere is delightful and the other dishes are truly masterfully made, which is why the quality of steak was such a shock to me.

20/12/2025: Really bad experience. Had to wait 45 min to get our table, several items from the menu were sold out and service generally did not live up to expectations. Maison seems outdated, needs an update!

18/10/2025: The food is insanely delicious! You must try the anchovy toast, the perfect steak, and the scallion salad. The service is supremely professional...the prices are fair for the quality of the dishes. Anyone coming to Copenhagen cannot miss it.

24/05/2026: Okay in a tight spot but wouldn't recommend for a vacation or couples weekend. Only staff on site was cleaners whom seemed to be rented foreigners with no local language skills. This let me to think underpaid staff. Beautiful location but absolutely no soundproofing of the rooms so you'll hear the snoring of the entire hotel all night. Beds were okay and room was clean. Toilet wasn't actually attached to the floor so almost tipped over. Well stocked snackbar but very plastic in the flavors. Horrible and sad cover music in the snack room as well. The prices don't reflect the service level and other hotels with similar prices have better standards, service and location than this hotel. Also, request for bathing stool was ignored with no response from the hotel. Pride themselves with accessibility but don't offer any additional standards besides ground level hotel and the door to the corridor with rooms didn't seem large enough to be wheelchair accessible.

11/04/2026: Lovely hotel, very quiet yet centrally located. Easy check-in, good snacks included free of charge.

14/05/2026: Even though we are from Vendsyssel, we just stop by Båring Bakke a few times a year, there is always good food, clean and nice...

30/05/2026: When I went to Brandbjerg High School, we were here often and it was so cozy, damn good high school too!

29/04/2026: Small coffe/pancake shop with a few tables inside and a small terrace outside. Although the prices are a little bit high, the pancakes and the home made limonade was very delicious. Very cosy and the staff in friendly, the service was fast , we were the only ones there.

23/04/2026: Very disappointing experience... Yesterday 04/21/2026 I called in advance to make sure I could get cooked chicken in my burger (said exactly like in your sandwich) as I don't eat fried chicken. It was confirmed, and I also wrote it clearly in the comment to the order, which I was told I should by the girl I spoke to. Still, I got a burger with fried, extremely dry chicken, which was totally inedible! When I called to point out the mistake, I was met with an unpleasant and dismissive tone (by the owner). No responsibility was taken, instead I was told that it was a standard thing, it was my own fault, and that I should have said that it shouldn't be fried. This despite the fact that I had just called in advance and wrote in the comment that the chicken should be exactly like the one in your sandwich.. (cooked) Because you don't normally fry your chicken for your sandwich, that's why I asked if I could have it exactly like that.. A refund was offered for one burger, but that doesn't change a bad experience and unprofessional handling. We have experienced mistakes several times before, but we have chosen to give it a few chances, as it could be due to busyness, etc. This experience, especially the way it was handled by the owner, means that we will not order from you again. A situation that could have been easily resolved, but ended up unnecessarily in a bad experience. 😔

31/12/2025: I paid 105 kr. for a chicken/bacon sandwich, which most of all resembled something you would throw together in a hurry at home. It was just dry toast, shredded chicken and the usual iceberg/tomato/cucumber filling. At that price, you honestly feel a bit cheated. It's a shame that they don't bother to make more of it. It would take so little, just a homemade hummus, some pickled onions/red cabbage or some arugula, for it to actually taste of anything. Unfortunately, it seems as if the pride in the craftsmanship has completely disappeared. It cannot be recommended.
