12/11/2025: Got a delicious strawberry tart and bread here. But the woman behind it had apparently gotten up the wrong way and couldn't crack a smile.

11/09/2025: Great bakery, baker speaks German. We shopped here 29 years ago and the products were always top-notch.

04/10/2025: I was pregnant, got good service today 04.10.25 - the lady at the bar was nice, helpful and then I got a good and actually surprisingly delicious menu for 234 kr. Really cheap. Thanks Takii 🫶🏻

10/08/2025: I tried to get some info about the menu and was charged for the very expensive buffet at 165dkk which was different than what I wanted. I was given a plate for the buffet and saw there was barely anything left and they never refilled the buffet. No cheese, no bread, basically just a couple of boring salads. At least the hummus and dips were good but for the price that was disappointing. I visited on June 14.

25/10/2025: September 27, 2025 The dinner arranged by the travel agency was delicious. The flavors were just the right amount of salty and light. It was a great Chinese meal for a long-distance traveler. It was a pleasant experience. The staff was very busy and attentive to the guests. They were always smiling. Chinese restaurants in Europe often serve long-grain rice. It was a bit dry and tough. The dory fish wasn't very tasty, but the chef did his best to season it, making it quite edible. The other dishes, shrimp and chicken, were also quite good. The Chinese cabbage and broccoli were also delicious.

18/10/2025: Awesome food. It helps however if you know in advance what you like. Since it is Sishuan food, there is a wide variaty of chooses. Sweet and friendly staff

23/08/2025: Delicious burgers right by the beach. A relaxed atmosphere with outdoor tables and benches made from old pallets. When you buy an adult meal (burger, fries, and a drink), you get a free kids' burger – very fair and family-friendly. Friendly service. Top!

10/07/2025: We had a go at their indian cuisine due to us loving the old restaurant that used to serve nice, authentic & and cheap indian cuisine. We have been avoiding this place for the past couple of years due to the very clear shift in theme - is it a burger joint, a café or still an indian restaurant? Well, that hunger for proper spicy food took over one evening, and we found ourselves ordering curry from our old favourite spot. To our disappointment - a super limited menu when it comes to indian cuisine, with no daals, no biriyani and very few currys to choose from. Nevertheless - we ordered: -Palak paneer -Chicken tikka masala -and a naan bread on the side Here comes the reason for the 2 stars, and not 1. When I asked for the tikka masala to be proper spicy, she seemed very excited and happy - and would gladly make it as authentic as possible. It was perfectly spicy, and it was clear they added fresh chili - very nice! The chicken however was the driest lumps of frozen meat i've had in a while. As for the palak paneer; clearly frozen, overly sweet and altogether disgusting in its texture and appearance. And last but certainly not least - the biggest middle finger to their costumers - the Naan... 25 kr for 2 weird cuts of microwaved lukewarm pieces of "mini-flatbread" with a bit of butter spread on top. Fellas.... when you microwave bread, it turns soggy throughout half the bread, and rock hard/dry on the other half. Inedible! This has got to be the most confusing and disappointing indian/burger house/cafés in... well the world? I dont think i've ever come across such a "concept" before. We won't be coming back to this place, that for sure.

06/06/2025: As the name suggests, it is a cozy little place, with a modern interior. I ordered online to save a little (10%). I was inside Hygge Costa a few min. later and was welcomed by a friendly employee who asked if I had ordered anything. When she got my name she rushed into the kitchen and had my order expedited - even though I hadn't asked for it. That's really good customer service. I ordered 2 burgers: Søborg Burger (150 grams/medium), Price: 75 kr. Brioche bun, Beef, Cheddar cheese, Bacon, Salad, Pickled cucumbers, Caramelized onions, Aioli, Cipotle dressing. It's a good burger, with nice flavor, I especially liked the bacon, but for the price I expected a little more. I know that Brioche buns have become very popular, but I would have preferred a classic (toasted) sesame bun (3.5 out of 5) Pulled Pork Burger, Price: 95 kr. * This burger is no longer on the menu. Brioche bun, Salad, Pulled pork, Roasted onions, Pickled cucumbers, Bbq, Dijon mayo. This burger was really delicious, and no expense was spared on the meat - there is plenty of flavor both in the meat, but the other elements (5 out of 5). I will definitely come back to try some of the other burgers with e.g. Pulled Duck, Steak and the 'Hygge' burger. --- There are new owners, the name has changed to 'Keerthis Kitchen' and Indian food has been added to the menu. There is no longer a discount for online ordering. The service is unchanged, with very welcoming and service-minded staff. I was even offered a taste of their mango lassi while I was waiting for my order. I tried 2 burgers that I have not tasted before (but I guess their Indian food is better than the burgers). The burgers are great and the buns are toasted, which is a plus. The lettuce in the pictures is not the one used in the burgers, so it loses some of its "crunch" and is just a decoration. Steak Burger - 95 kr. Brioche bun, beef steak, truffle mayo, lettuce, pickles, caramelized onions. This one was very disappointing. The meat was rubbery (maybe microwaved) and had tendons in it, and although the bun and accessories in the burger were excellent, the meat should be the 'star' of this burger. 2 out of 5. Lamb Classic Cheese Burger - 75 kr Brioche bun, lamb, cheddar cheese, lettuce, pickles, fresh onion, aioli. This burger was really delicious and juicy, but it didn't have a distinct lamb flavor - but tasty. 4 out of 5. My revised rating is without having tried their Indian dishes. I could well fear that not having a sharply focused menu would compromise the quality.

21/11/2025: My boyfriend and I bought takeout from Kai Sushi the day before yesterday. When we got home and were about to eat, everything seemed fine at first. However, that quickly changed. The wasabi tasted strange, and our shrimp nigiri both smelled and tasted strange. I tried to eat some of the other pieces, but while chewing one of them, I suddenly felt a hair in my mouth. I immediately spat it out and saw that there was a long dark hair in the piece. Shortly after, I went outside and threw up all the food. My boyfriend called Kai Sushi, where a friendly clerk answered the phone. She apologized many times and spoke to her manager, after which they offered to make new pieces of sushi – both new shrimp nigiri and replacements for the pieces with a hair in them. My boyfriend explained that of course we didn’t want any more sushi, since I had just thrown up the whole thing and had honestly lost my appetite. Instead, we asked for our money back. The clerk spoke to the manager again, who asked us to come by with the remaining pieces of sushi, so we drove back. When my girlfriend showed the piece with the hair in it, the manager denied that it could have come from them – almost as if we had put it in the food ourselves. A longer discussion followed, during which the manager repeatedly insisted that it was not their hair. My girlfriend repeated that we wanted our money back, and in the end the manager agreed. He then said that we should not order from them again if we were dissatisfied. Later he also called me and told me that we were now excluded from their system, so we could not order from them in the future. Of course, we did not want that either, after that experience and the incredibly poor treatment. This will undoubtedly be the last time we support Kai Sushi.

06/11/2025: The best sushi I’ve ever eaten! You can go to the restaurant, which is beautiful, with a very pleasant music, and enjoy the food there with a lovely service, or you can order to take away, and enjoy it somewhere else. The quality is always amazing. They provide a perfect balance of flavours and textures in each piece. It’s really heavenly. The menu is broad, with different appetisers, and menu options both for only yourself or to share. We’ve been going here for months and we never get tired.

22/09/2025: Takeaway. 2 duck with rice. The equivalent of €27. Delicious. Very generous portions. Freshly prepared. Completely satisfied. Insider tip...they also have licorice ice cream. I just had to try it...unfortunately, it's awesome 🤣

25/06/2025: It tastes okay, but we have ordered the same thing 2 different times, the first time we got a fantastic homemade bread but the second time it was a store-bought bread. When we asked why, we were told it doesn't come with homemade bread, even though it says so on the menu? :(
