12/08/2026: Excellent sandwich and almond croissant here today, better tasting than most we've had. Friendly staff and a more relaxed, quieter atmosphere than cafes closer to the main tourist attractions.

27/07/2026: Tourist trap. Horrible place. First and last visit to this horrible place. Cold and average pasta and incredibly bad and condescending attitude from the owners.

23/07/2026: After a day in legoland this restaurant was perfect with a buffet in the evening. I liked all the food, and kids enjoyed it too.

18/07/2026: There wasn't much food to choose from on the menu. The food was cold. No dressing for the salad. Not a recommendation from here. But the staff was very friendly.

25/05/2026: Hidden Gem. This properbly is the best dumplings i have had in Copenhagen. True Guangzhou cuisine. Delicious.

29/03/2026: The floor was sticky and the food was not very good. I unfortunately doubt that it was 100% homemade as it didn’t taste very fresh. The service was nice and I got to replace my first main dish that I didn’t like but I won’t be coming back

11/04/2026: Quite a nice Espresso House, although not the coziest place to sit, but a good place to have a coffee with you around the center. It was nice that they have various board games lying around, if you want something other than just drinking coffee and eating cake.

25/02/2026: For some time now, the café has been advertising melted chocolate instead of the usual lousy powdered cocoa. Today we tried to order melted chocolate for the second time. The first time they had run out of chocolate, but only told us when we pointed out that we had received powdered cocoa mixed with water. Today we ordered melted chocolate again, as it is now also stated on the menu board. The girl behind the counter was completely on board with what we ordered, but still we were given the watery and tasteless powdered variety. When we asked how it was made, we were given a nice explanation of how the finished powder was mixed with hot water. Sad and expensive experience.

26/01/2026: A truly cozy experience! Kålhøgen offers tasty dishes made from fresh ingredients and a relaxed atmosphere. Friendly service and high quality - definitely worth a visit!

18/07/2026: I have visited the place many times over the past 10 years, but now the quality is completely down. Their menu card shows a grill menu with everything grilled meat but that is in no way what you get.....(please see the attached pictures). I waited 25 minutes for a coke while the staff stood behind the bar and talked, the table was not serviced we had to clean up ourselves to be able to sit there. We complained about the above before anything happened....by the way, we could also hear other customers who were about to pay were also dissatisfied. All in all a very bad experience.....find somewhere else to eat....-10 stars

16/07/2026: The food was excellent. The service was not so good. You get 3 stars because the waiters were friendly and helpful. After we finished eating, we waited for a waiter to either offer dessert or a bill, but no one ever came to check on us or ask if everything was okay. We felt ignored. We had to go inside to the counter to ask for the bill. The atmosphere was okay. It would have been nice with a cozier atmosphere, candles, better chairs, a tablecloth on the table.. etc. There are not enough toilets at all for the number of people that there is room for in Søborg.

03/04/2026: I just bought a sausage mix for 74 kr, it's a pittance. It's the smallest sausage mix I've ever had, and the sausages were so dry. I feel so cheated, ugh ugh.

06/06/2026: Super delicious breakfast 😋 I was visiting the city for a one-night stay and this bakery seemed promising! It definitely did not disappoint 😁 Sweet service and delicious buttered bread roll! And a lovely crunchy cinnamon roll 😋

04/08/2026: We were there in October and it was very delicious. We wanted to go again this summer, but we saw that it had unfortunately burned down. What a shame.

30/07/2026: Super delicious pizza!!!!! The best pizza in a very long time! Fresh!

18/06/2026: The dough was definitely the best part of the pizza for me—it was beautifully made and had a great consistency. Unfortunately, the rest of the toppings couldn't keep up. The pizza tasted very bland overall, as it was sorely lacking in seasoning, in my opinion. The tomato sauce also didn't impress me, as it seemed quite tasteless. The mozzarella cream wasn't to my liking either, although that's obviously a matter of personal taste. Overall, the pizza was okay, but due to the lack of seasoning and the underwhelming toppings, it only gets 3 out of 5 stars.

18/07/2026: Delicious homemade and creative sandwiches. The owner is very warm and friendly. Thanks again for the hot tea to warm me up on a rainy day during my cycling trip!
