29/08/2026: Wide choice of different breads and rolls,tasting good. Quite pricy. There is no tea to drink or mineral water to buy. Staff has a lot of things to improve- you wait quite long to be served and they seem like disturbing them. The place doesn't appeal to be cosy.

28/08/2026: The food and service were first-class! We honestly can't understand the bad reviews at all. We received excellent advice and were able to customize our bagels and sandwiches exactly to our liking. All the ingredients seemed fresh and tasted accordingly. The prices are also absolutely fair. You get a generous portion with fresh, healthy ingredients for your money. We would come back anytime – unfortunately, we live much too far away. Go and try it!!

18/08/2026: The food tasted fine, but the employee at the cash register, she had way too much attitude, was really rude to the customers. Not a place I would go again

21/07/2026: We ordered online an hour before pick-up. The order was not approved, but kept loading - when we arrived it was because they had not set up their ordering iPad. They took our order in the store, and when we got the sandwiches they were made incorrectly, and also assembled in a strange way that meant you didn't get a bite of everything at the same time. In addition, one of the employees was not wearing gloves, but was standing with his phone to check the menu online what was supposed to be in the sandwiches. There were 3 people ahead of us, all of whom came because something was wrong with their order they had just received... last time I went there. I have otherwise had good experiences with other Bogø restaurants, but not the one on Reberbansgade

21/05/2026: Really sad about this, not well rolled, not fresh either, overcooked rice, ginger tastes like soap and the soy sauce is way too salty. Doesn't taste good. Costs way too much for the poor quality.

08/03/2026: Prolly the only J&the J that has normal music volume, not deafening like all the others. Their sandwiches are still the best, although pricey. The strawberry juice with vanilla milk is lush!

24/01/2026: Ordered via Wolt from your store in Christianshavn, the drink I received tasted far from anything that should be consumed, I have otherwise had the drink many times before, when I complained about Wolt, our courier could not get in touch with you. I order a lot from Wolt and am very disappointed, but this is definitely the last time I have ordered from your chain, especially when you allow yourself to charge 90+ kr for a smoothie. As I also told the courier, I was not interested in the money back but just a new one but never got through to you and now the result is just that I will not come again, oops.

01/07/2026: I ordered an iced chai and a kanelsnurre on the first floor, but when I tried to sit on the second floor, I was told the tables were for customers only even though I had literally just bought something there. The food and atmosphere were nice, around 4 stars, but the service in this situation was very disappointing. Service: 1 star.

26/06/2026: Holm Bager og café was a real disappointment. Much of their food was sold out, the service was sometimes non-existent, but at least very slow. Their sandwiches are okay, but for the price, you can easily find something better nearby.

18/07/2026: Lovely food. Rice came in the same portion size as the sauce so you had to ask for more several times. Would be smart with a slightly larger bowl of rice.

14/03/2026: I have worked remotely from this cafe a few times as it is local for my kids’ schools. Service and coffee/food is ok but this place is very dirty and not well maintained. The floors and tables are not clean and the bathroom is filthy — plus scarily there was no water to wash hands in the bathroom on my last visit! This place needs management attention. It’s not up to standards of other Lagkagehusets.

12/08/2026: I had ordered beef stroganoff, which I really like, but I was disappointed like I've never been. The meat, which should have been thin strips of beef tenderloin or inner thigh, was some lumps of stringy, indeterminate meat, the rest was impossible to determine what it had originally been. The only positive thing was that it was easy to get rid of a few hours after eating some of the so-called beef stroganoff

13/04/2026: We were down and ordered a pork roast with mashed potatoes and brown gravy. When we got home the skins were completely limp, the mashed potatoes were cold. And I bought a large burger and it's inedible 👎 Will never go there again

01/07/2026: Great place. We had the jalapeño steak burger. It was amazing. And also the garlic dip to it. Service very attentive and nice. Location obviously also great.

05/09/2026: My friends and I were in line for this place on a Friday night and were on the list to get in. But when we get to the doorman, he is aggressive and orders that all 4 of us can read the rules of the place word for word. My friend who has made sure that we are on the list and has been there many times before, informs the doorman that she has explained to us the rules that no pictures are allowed and that you must behave properly, etc. However, this is not enough for the doorman and we are turned away despite being on the list and having read the rules, etc. I have never had such an unpleasant experience in the city. I will never set foot there. I will spare you the unpleasant words that are shared and encourage everyone to find another place to spend their time and money.
