03/05/2026: Poor service - overcharged for 30 minutes because we paid 5 minutes late after our 2 hours had passed.

07/12/2025: Disappointing. To start with they had lost our booking.. then they said we had to pay again, which we refused. The pool was broken, so you couldn't use it (it had obviously been there for a long time). The room: The toilet was black down in the basin and there was a hole under the very worn carpet so the glass table jumped every time we walked past. The TV could only receive DR1 and DR2 and restarted probably 25 times. At night there was a terrible spectacle because the owner was holding a wild party in one of the castle halls. In the morning we had to ask them to cover for us, as they had forgotten us again. And when we checked out they didn't think they had handed over our voucher... so we had to email it to them and wait for them to print it. Generally unprofessional!! Sidenote. They said it was fully booked, but we were only 2 tables down for breakfast and we didn't see a soul.

07/12/2025: We had booked a stay at Sauterhus Slotshotel for 2 nights, 3 rooms with both breakfast and dinner as part of the celebration of my mother's 70th birthday. The choice fell on this hotel because it had an indoor pool, so that both children and grandchildren could enjoy themselves during the day. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed already upon arrival. When we asked where the pool was, we were told that it had been closed for several months and was still not working. We booked the stay already 4 months ago, and we had not received any kind of information that the pool would not be available. That part was extremely frustrating, as it was the main reason why we chose the hotel. As compensation, they offered a bottle of sparkling wine and some soda for the children, which certainly did not match the disappointment - and we therefore politely declined. Unfortunately, the service at the reception was far below acceptable. Maurice, who served us, was both arrogant and uninterested in helping. At no point did we experience any understanding, friendliness or attempt at a real solution from his side. This made the disappointing situation even worse. All in all, the stay did not meet expectations at all, and it was a disappointing experience on a day that should have been special and festive.

25/07/2026: Stopped here for an ice cream. The ice cream was good and the prices were okay! Small place where there are not a lot of tourists. Which suits me. Very nice staff!

28/03/2026: This is the first and only time I've ever gotten food poisoning. Stay away from this place.

31/08/2026: ordered their nuggets and pasta bolognese, it’s uneatable and indigestible. I’m so disappointed, was looking forward for my night food and though I was pretty hungry I decided to skip this because of how bad it smelled and looked. I took one bite and instantly regretted it.

29/08/2026: I'm not exaggerating, but this is seriously some of the worst food I've ever tasted. I'm a 350-pound man, and I'd say I have a pretty relaxed relationship with food. I can eat pretty much anything. Fish soup? Sure. Dry cheese balls? Send them my way. Something that's been sitting in the fridge a little too long? I've survived worse. But here's where I draw the line. The food tasted like someone had taken all the ingredients that would normally be thrown away, mixed them together, left them in the sun, and then thought, "You know what? We're going to serve this to people for the hell of it." This isn't just bad food. It's an insult to the concept of food. In fact, I'd go so far as to say, If you're blind, have lost all your taste buds, and have already given up on life's little pleasures, feel free to eat here. This was the biggest pile of Roskilde Festival feces with dressing I've ever been served on a plate. And the worst part is that it almost looked like something that had a chance of becoming food. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the Danish Food and Drug Administration had stopped by, taken a deep breath, looked at the kitchen, and then just quietly put down their clipboard and said: "We can't handle this." They may never have had time to write the report because they collapsed from food poisoning in the doorway. And if there is a god of food safety, I sincerely hope that he never discovers what's going on here. Even Lucifer would look at that plate, slowly shake his head, and say: "No thanks. We actually have standards in Hell too." I've eaten in a lot of strange places. I've eaten food I couldn't identify. I've eaten food I've regretted afterwards. But this? It wasn't a meal. It was an ordeal. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars for the courage of the person who dared to serve it.

12/08/2026: Very nice, very good pizza, we were there as a family, very good value for money, my children loved the pizza.

22/06/2026: This was without a doubt one of the worst experiences I have ever had and I have even had all four wisdom teeth removed with only local anaesthetic. The food was awful, the wait was unreasonably long and the place seemed dirty and poorly maintained. I was just going to have a slice of ham pizza. After I had ordered, another customer came in who ordered two slices, and then another customer who ordered three. Incredibly, the last customer got their slices while I was told there was no more ham pizza left. Instead I got a pepperoni pizza that was so dry it could almost compete with the sun. The quality was beyond criticism and the whole experience was characterised by poor service, lack of overview and poor customer service. I cannot recommend the place in any way and will definitely not be returning.

24/06/2026: A fantastic experience. Friendly yet respectful staff, delicious food. I especially recommend the falafel wrap and the french fries.

15/06/2026: Tastes really good and the people who have it are super nice people. The bread could be better but other than that it's great

28/04/2026: Ordered food via Wolt... Delivery time was 5:49 PM. I called them after a 20 minute delay and was told the food would arrive within 3-5 minutes. After another 10 minutes, Wolt contacted and was told that Havnely was responsible for the delivery itself. The food finally arrived at 6:30 PM and was lukewarm and bland...

14/06/2026: Really bad paid 100kr to get in and 40kr for a jacket, pay 1700 to sit next to the DJ. We got 1 Absolut vodka and Jack Daniels 2 cokes and 3 energy drinks. Really bad.

25/01/2026: They had a DJ come all the way here just to play the same songs they play every weekend – mostly Arabic music. Today was supposed to be an Afro party, but the owner somehow took over the DJ desk without telling the DJ. Because of that, a lot of people went home. The event didn’t live up to what was promised at all, and it’s really disappointing. Some people came all the way from Copenhagen and Aarhus, so it’s really sad that the evening ended like this.

28/07/2026: NEVER EAT HERE!!! It's the biggest scam. Young people who can't even heat up their frozen pizzas enough so that they're not raw in the crust. They're smart enough. But it's a steal to charge 109 kroner for a frozen pizza that tastes worse than one you can heat up yourself from Rema. The tables around them aren't cleaned either, so the wasps are happy. It's a hell of a BonBon☹️

12/06/2026: Unfortunately closed, very cold winter day. Could have had a cup of hot coffee, and also no coffee carts at Havfruen. But the area is nice to walk around. Visited the kiosk again on a summer day, and had a good cup of coffee. Nice large selection of delicacies, but a bit expensive. Sweet service.

06/06/2026: We were there yesterday and are still stunned by the staff's behavior. From the very beginning, we were treated rudely and condescendingly. When we tried to resolve the situation, one of the employees even became aggressive and banged on the window from the inside, right next to my boss. Such behavior is absolutely disrespectful. I have rarely experienced anything like it. No matter how hungry or thirsty you are, after this experience I would never buy anything there again. Anyone who values ​​respectful treatment should definitely find another place.

29/05/2026: Went out to eat yesterday and had a roast dinner. We told the waiter that we couldn't tolerate lactose. We were allowed to choose the sauce and nothing else. When the food came, we were very surprised that we got creamed potatoes, steak and the sauce, no vegetables. Creamed potatoes of course contain lactose, so we asked for a different kind of potatoes for the food. The service was poor, we weren't asked about the options for the Roast Dinner concept. The staff wasn't particularly attentive to the guests, we waited a little too long to ask for some extra meat. We won't be back.

17/03/2026: I can really understand that Jensen's steakhouse can't make it work. The service is absolutely terrible and the food is boring. My husband and I visited Jensen's steakhouse in Wawes on Saturday. My husband wanted a Tuborg squash sport without sugar which was shown on the menu but no they really didn't have it anymore! He ordered a sirloin steak and potato slices the plate screamed for attention and oh yes the sauce of course has to be bought 😳!! I ordered grilled salmon (definitely tasted better) and wanted hollandaise sauce the waiter glared at me as if I had just fallen from the moon "we really don't have that on our menu" I couldn't help but say what? Jensen's steakhouse has hollandaise sauce in their range but not in their restaurants? Bearnaise sauce etc. doesn't belong with salmon! The last time I set foot there

30/06/2026: The food was quite good. The pizza was really good, and even the desserts tasted good! The only real problem was the downright rudeness of the clerks! They gave monosyllabic answers, giving incorrect information about a typical dessert, which is very serious, especially if you have allergies or intolerances. They were very annoyed and annoyed, even though there weren't such a huge crowd. In fact, they didn't even respond to our greeting. Absolutely nothing, as far as I'm concerned! Luckily, Copenhagen has plenty of other 7 Elevens scattered around the city, so hopefully the staff will be a little more friendly and polite!

10/05/2026: the night security screams at you for anything at all, they push you out if you take 5 minutes to order, only screamed at the women there, not the men doing the exact same thing, terrible experience! i hope it gets better
