30/09/2024: The food was good but it took a while to bring it to the table, they said it was due to taking telephone orders, the door was constantly left open but the person serving was very friendly the entire time.

19/10/2023: Practice a bad move. I had ordered TooGoodToGo and now I understand why they use it. The food was terrible and the restaurant looked like something that was a lie. Not recommended.

05/07/2025: Lovely food and super cozy atmosphere. Absolutely a must go when nearby. Now with a new location and events. Somehow they have managed to make an even cozyer place. I would come for the food alone, and I would come for the vibes alone. You get both. If you are on bornholm, this a place you must visit Groland. Cant wait to come back again.

19/06/2024: Worst Wurst ever. Beware of what might take the prize as the worst 'pølsemand' in Denmark. 1st and 2nd choice not available. To satisfy my hunger I accepted the 'medister' and was served a day old sausage, skin as thick and unappetising as a bog find and dry as a dead rat. And tasted likewise - I would imagine. Beneath criticism really. Absolutely not recommendable for those who care about their health and digestion. Doesn't even deserve 1star. Avoid.

23/07/2025: NB: My visit was a year ago, so things may have changed since then. I had booked a table at Restart to celebrate my birthday with 15 guests. As soon as I knew, I called to inform them that some might bring babies, and we had otherwise prepared for a nice day of creative fun. Unfortunately, some people got sick, as often happens in the fall. In addition, a few people didn't feel like painting - they just wanted to join in the atmosphere, have a cup of coffee and be part of the company. That turned out to be a problem. While I was painting, an older employee came over and commented that "she would have liked to have known, because then there would have been room for other customers." The tone was so unpleasant that my guests said afterwards: "You got a pretty grown-up scolding there, huh?" I fully understand that it's a business. But we hadn't been informed that everyone had to paint in order to be allowed to be there. It wasn't stated anywhere. (And it wasn't because the non-painting guests didn't spend money on coffee) - and maybe she could have just pulled me aside instead of exposing me in front of my friends and family. It didn't get any better. The employee kept coming into the room and acting more like a teacher than a host (with raised index fingers, corrections, and admonishments). My sister chose to leave early because she couldn't stand the bad atmosphere. When my boyfriend used a hair dryer for a special effect (which turned out really nice, by the way), the whole party was reprimanded for "not having the right type of icing." It felt controlling and unwelcoming - like we were constantly doing something wrong, even when we were just trying to be creative. We only used the materials we had paid for, and we treated things with respect. But the atmosphere quickly soured. Instead of a fun birthday, I left feeling depressed and like I had dragged my guests into something unpleasant. Later, when they had gone home, I was close to crying. I had tried to create a good experience and ended up feeling so ashamed that the hostess thought it was okay to treat us that way. I have been taking a long time to write this review, precisely because I did not want to be unreasonable. But if I had read a review like this beforehand, I would have chosen another place – and maybe had a good birthday instead. My impression is that the place can be cozy if you come in small groups (maybe four people max). (Or you come on a day when only the young staff is present). But for larger parties the atmosphere becomes slightly stressful – both for the staff and the guests. I – and my friends and family – will certainly not come again. And the hostess from Restart is probably completely satisfied with that :P

27/04/2025: Virkelig god smag i de forskellige varianter af is og sorbet! Jeg elsker, elsker, ELSKER især grøn æble-sorbeten – den er så frisk og lækker, at man næsten føler, man bider i et helt friskplukket æble. Det er klart en af mine absolutte favoritter, og jeg vender helt sikkert tilbage efter mere 😄😄

14/06/2025: Valgte Hornbæk Is fordi der var mocca is, men den smagte ikke af mocca. Øv Isen var meget blød og flødeskum meget flydende. Vaflen var derimod perfekt. Ikke pengene værd.

12/05/2025: På trods af at dette ishus er hyggeligt indrettet syntes jeg, at prisen er vildt høj i forhold til kvalitet. Jeg bestilte 2 kugler med guf til 53 kr. Det er fin is, men den smager ikke af særlig meget og guffen var uden smag og vandet i konsistensen. Kuglerne var meget små og jeg følte mig totalt snydt! 54 kr. er mere end hvad man kan købe næsten en hel liter for i de fleste supermarkeder og derudover var betjeningen ikke særlig venlig. Super ærgerligt i den dejlige by!

21/07/2025: Smukke, grønne omgivelser, pænt og rent - og dejlig mad og drikke til gode priser. Vi fik clubsandwiches med kylling og pommes frites og kolde øl samt kaffe og gulerodskage til dessert. Alt veltillavet. Bedre end på mange caféer. Meget behageligt at sidde under den store, dybe markise, når solen bager. Terrasseområdet er delt i ét område til rygere og ét til ikke-rygere. Tak for det! Parkeringspladsen ligger tæt på.
