29/06/2026: Update 3: Still my favorite cafe in Copenhagen. The staff is still kind and friendly. The food was generous and beautifully displayed. Perfect location just next to the expensive department store. Update 2: 3rd time being here. The food representation is still very aesthetic. But I could use a little bit more salt on avocado. Update: Second time I came here within a week to try different food. It was so tasty and beautifully displayed. The photo of brownie does not justify the tastiness of it 🥹😭❤️ I was so sad to finish the food. This is my favorite place to eat in Copenhagen. Friendly staff, very tasty food! Each bite was flavorful and enjoyment! I will want to come back and try something else!

18/05/2026: An unplanned solo visit to Maven for an early dinner exceeded all expectations. From the genuinely friendly and attentive service, to impeccable interior (inside an old church!) and absolutely delicious food (the compliment bread and butter is to die for). Kudos to the team - I could see they have a good internal culture and truly enjoy working there. One small area of improvement: while the music was nice, the playlist was way too short (~10 songs looped). I didn’t mind because I love Olivia Dean 😁 But it can be tiring and a bit annoying. Nevertheless, adding Maven to the list of my favorite places and will certainly come back!

16/12/2025: Absolutely lovely, only 30 dkk for the whole day for a person with a hugeee selection of games to pick out from. The decor is amazing and the service was sweet and quick. If you get hungry, there is a wide selection of options to choose from, from small snacks to a small meal. Also, they offer amazing choco

23/11/2025: Ok food, a bit messy service (that might be language barrier between scandi countries). Good wine. Unfortunately smells of mold when entering the venue and the lefthand side of the restaurant. Better close to the bar.

16/11/2025: You would have gotten 10 stars too, if you could give it. By far the best restaurant experience of my life. The food was absolutely insanely good with a good mix of experimental combinations and more classic dishes. The setting and atmosphere were also impeccable, but where you deserve 10 stars is in the service level. Absolutely outstanding! Everyone - and there were many - who served us was skilled, knowledgeable, down to earth and clearly passionate. The same applied to Rasmus and Søren, who were both past the table, which was super cool - down to earth and passionate; like everyone else. Furthermore, it was really cool to experience that the only thing it was about was giving us the best possible experience - which we got to that extent. An extra shot and praise to the two waiters who were at our table the most. A young, Danish student waiter and a South African waiter. Service on an unprecedented level! We say thank you very much - and will definitely come again!

Its founder remains the only chef in the world to hold the full Bocuse d’Or trilogy — gold, silver, and bronze — a detail that feels evident in every plate: methodical technique, balanced creativity, and immaculate execution. Flavours are diverse without ever feeling forced; the aesthetics are impeccable; and the non-alcoholic pairing elevates the experience to a standard that many Michelin-starred restaurants have yet to reach. After working through Copenhagen’s most celebrated dining rooms, this is, without question, my definition of a true three-star meal. Danish Tradition ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A visually striking opening. Seaweed saltiness meets herring umami, brightened by a clean herbal lift from dill. Smoked Roe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Crisp yet tender with a delicate smokiness; the finish lands on a gentle dairy sweetness and the subtle pop of cured roe. Boiled Beetroot ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Devoid of any earthiness — pure sweetness with cherry-like fruitiness, followed by a whisper of fresh horseradish. Caviar ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pleasant but optional. Well-made, though not a standout in this context. Oysters ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Warm, plump oysters finished over heat; paired with pickled celeriac for a harmonious sweet–sour counterpoint. Kohlrabi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Crisp kohlrabi and apple acidity layered with a creamy sauce and saline depth from caviar — full and satisfying. Sunchoke ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nutty, soft and savoury, with raw walnut providing an unexpected textural contrast. Crispy Grains ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Black-truffle bread is rich and aromatic; the sourdough crust is gentle, with a lingering nutty fragrance. Scallop ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A hint of open-fire aroma; buttery sweetness integrates seamlessly with the scallop’s natural delicacy. Turbot ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Soft and bouncy. The sauce brings fish and mushroom umami, though the seasoning leans slightly heavy. Today’s Harvest ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Acidic, sweet, smoky, creamy, crisp, soft — a beautifully orchestrated study of vegetables. A far more layered experience than Arpège’s vegetable tasting. Chamomile ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bright and fragrant with citrus–botanical notes; pear sweetness rounds out the acidity elegantly. Chocolate ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A perfect finale: aromatic chocolate sphere; silky mousse with nutty granules; a tiny bar reminiscent of Magnum. Flavours of Madagascar cacao emerge with light acidity and cherry-like fruit tones. Sunflower Seeds Tart ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Apple sweetness, crisp tart shell, geranium perfume, and cultured yoghurt — refreshing and poised. Total: 7680 DKK Recommendation Score: 9.85/10

02/12/2025: I got here at 8:00 p.m. on a Tuesday and they told me the kitchen was closed. I guess upper management decided there weren't enough guests and they shut down the kitchen. I spent 35 minutes to walk here. So don't believe the hours!

30/11/2025: We visited Alexandre and had bought an Early Bird experience. The menu was Jerusalem artichoke soup with dried root vegetable chips, main course confit duck leg with red cabbage, French fries and sauce and for dessert delicious ice cream from Beier. The soup was very delicious, but a little on the heavy side as a starter for duck. The portion felt large. The main course was tasty, but the red cabbage a little on the salty side. The bread was not super delicious, but whipped butter was great. Personally, I didn't think the French fries fit the meal as it was all too greasy and heavy. My enjoyment of the meal would have been greatly increased if it had been possible to get potatoes with the dish instead. The red wine sauce was exquisite. We got a lovely portion of ice cream from Beier. The service was sincere and very friendly. We waited a bit long for the main course and we sat right under a speaker, which I didn't like. But in general the restaurant is very cozy!

15/01/2026: Excellent atmosphere, incredibly friendly staff, and superb pasta. I highly recommend the Tartufo! Portions are perfectly sized, and absolutely delicious. It’s nice to sit at communal tables and enjoy the laid back aesthetic. Will surely be visiting again!

09/12/2025: Dec 2025. Tuesday night. The sweetest waiters. Great atmosphere. Lots of people. We got 3 burgers and all 3 were dissatisfied. It was sour and didn't taste like anything else. Fries OK but nothing to rave about. One got Cesar salad - not a real Cesar dressing or grated parmaggiano turned into the salad. But great beer - TWO Beer is always good. NICE service.

15/06/2026: Very cosy restaurant, no waiting time 😃 Staff is really nice. I just discover Danish food, very good and very tasty 😋

15/06/2026: We had to wait 10 minutes for a table, but it was worth it. The smørrebrød are very, very good, but also not cheap. The service is friendly.

29/12/2025: The food and dishes were inedible from the Burrata which was dry and the lasagna which was covered in sweet sauce, the pasta was soft, nice place and view, but other people need to go there

02/12/2025: The atmosphere was elegant, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we were treated to a glass of prosecco for my partner's birthday. The dinner was sensational. We ordered two first courses and two second courses, and the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the Italian chef were evident. The location is truly stunning, but I recommend going at sunset to enjoy the magical view. The price reflects the quality of the products and the ambiance. Thank you for the magical experience.

08/01/2026: My local, who always lives up to my expectations. And then it was just like everything came together tonight. A pita menu with shawarma from another world with the best homemade chili. Imagine that something so simple can be so good. Thank you thank you you saved my day. I'll be back next week!

13/06/2026: Cozy cafe, nice service. Ordered a Croque monsieur which was actually a Parisian toast with supermarket toast bread, industrial ham and what tasted like cheap processed cheese. The food was not a good experience.

27/06/2026: 4.7/5 very good and pretty authentic Nepalese food. I had the lamb skewer, chicken chow mein, and momas for 303 dkk. All 3 were delicious and tasty. The lamb skewers were cooked perfectly and super tasty , along with the momas. The chow mein was great as well, although it was slightly expensive. Highly recommend!

04/06/2026: I was only at the bar for half an hour before a restaurant visit. But the service was friendly and attentive. And when I expressed doubts about which beer I would like, I was offered a taste - I think that's super nice style 😊 👍

29/05/2026: Never eaten here. Top gaffers & staff. Dead on. And how you spend per person is dependent on thirst/greed/craic… for me an average 3 pints or so… right?
