08/06/2026: Excellent service and recommendations. Amazing food and setting

05/06/2026: A very big disappointment. I have previously eaten at Alsace before the change of ownership, and therefore it almost hurts to experience how far the level has fallen. We started with the tartare, which was completely tasteless. The meat appeared pale and without the seasoning you expect from a classic tartare. It seemed as if the dish had been sent out without love or thought. The terrine was also not seasoned and had a level that neither lived up to restaurant standards nor what you would expect at a private dinner party. The main course of oxtail was the low point of the evening. The taste was earthy, and the dish appeared to be an unbalanced mixture of ingredients without direction or finesse. It was simply not appetizing. The shrimp did not seem fresh, and the mayonnaise tasted of almost nothing. Several elements on the plate lacked both acidity, seasoning and character. The saddest thing is that I know how good the place used to be. That is why the contrast is so striking. Unfortunately, this was an experience that did not live up to the restaurant's history, price, or expectations. I sincerely hope that Alsace will return to the level that once made the place worth visiting.

14/10/2025: Absolutely wonderful hidden gem for thoughtful, cozy meals. Very friendly service as well. Pictured is rye pasta with miso butter, a salad with local pear, and sea buckthorn x rosemary kombucha.

08/09/2025: The best pasta shop and restaurant place in town. The quality and the love it is made of is just out of this world.

23/07/2025: The ambiance is very pleasant with soft inviting lighting and music. The dishes had wonderful flavor, especially the tartar, spätzle, and the cannelloni. It was delicious. I will say that even the "larger" dishes recommended for a main, at 245/265 kr each, were way too small, it felt disappointing in size, and was the same size as the "appetizers." The fish looked like a tiny business card size serving, very small. The strawberry tarte tatin to finish the meal was excellent, and much larger than said fish en croute. 🤷🏼‍♀️

22/07/2025: I came to Frank with high expectations, but it didn’t quite deliver. Some dishes were genuinely good, especially the pork and the Gillardeau oyster. However, others missed the mark. The fried oyster was boring, and the side salad was far too salty. The restaurant promotes itself as Asian fusion inspired, but as someone Asian, I didn’t find anything particularly new or exciting. Many reviews mention bold and unique flavors, but I have to disagree. Overall, a 3-star experience for me. On top of that, the service felt cold. The staff member who looked after our table wasn’t friendly and made us feel a bit left out, which added to the overall disappointment. A 3-star experience for me.

09/11/2025: We got turned away, she told us that there was no tables free despite there being multiple tables free inside and outside with the heaters on and no reserved signs on any, it was very strange.

06/11/2025: I visited Hooked Restaurant in May 2024. Tried the Mac and cheese appetizer and it was delicious. The lobster roll was pretty good too. The fish and chips was ok. Overall, the staff were friendly and made me feel welcome. The restaurant is also cozy and warm. For my full review, pls check out my video diary in my YouTube Channel!

16/07/2025: Great ice cream, great staff, great location. Not much more to say than a really good place to buy ice cream, and can be recommended, even if you come from a long way.

18/05/2025: We were welcomed and helped to choose a drink to our taste. They have some classics, but also their own. We were served the drinks at the table. A very pleasant and cozy experience.

04/07/2026: The breakfast plate is a large hearty meal with 3 kinds of meats (ham, sausage, smoked salmon), cheese, hash browns, lettuce, scrambled eggs. It also comes with a big bowl of yogurt and granola/nuts, as well as another plate of Danish, bread and butter and dark rye bread. Their butter is the Conviette butter, apparently the best there is locally. Be prepared to pay premium prices of around $100 usd a person, but it was well worth the experience. Drinks like Macha and lemonade was decent but overshadowed by the food. It was busy, so its safer to reserve for quick seating.

30/06/2026: Got breakfast here and it was very good. Price comparable to some of the “cheaper” places a block over. Waiter was great, offered to store our luggage while we ate. Coffee was good, matcha looked great but cannot confirm. Outdoor seating available, including a unique table in the back of a truck. Would recommend for a quick breakfast or lunch.

18/01/2026: SO good!!!!! We got 7 options each which may have been slight overkill but everything was so amazing that we almost finished it all. 10/10 would come back!

30/12/2025: Very good service, the waiter kept asking us if everything was fine.

15/12/2025: Such a cozy and inviting bar. The staff are genuinely friendly, the beer selection on tap is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed. I stopped by solo and felt completely comfortable a great place to sit, enjoy a beer, and slow down.

02/12/2025: Nice beer bar, too bad they mostly only serve their own rather mediocre Flying Couch beers and rarely change them. Pretty good place for a good date, though ☺️

08/07/2026: Was one of the best dinners I have ever had! The menu was perfect (even for a picky eater) and the service was very smooth and nice :) Had tons of fun and enjoyed our evening in cleo so much! The giant oyster mushrooms were 100/10

05/07/2026: Cleo follows all the tropes of a neighborhood eatery—a relaxed, easy-breezy approach to nab an unassuming, diasporic, sashaying, sybaritic gastronome that happens to be within its vicinity. Attainable produce is given modernity. Adages of selected cocktails, natural and biodynamic wine correlate with a menu that offers robust crowd-pleasers that are put through the flavour mill, becoming all killer no filler. Packing a punch, yet simultaneously exercising restraint; a contingency to be sequential, not to shirk from a canonical ability to strive for deliciousness. Outside on communal tables, cheek by jowl with your fellow chowhounds. Achiote, ’nduja, miso, jalapeño, and sesame are endemic accompaniments to a menu that satisfies both those who wish to share and those who don’t.

05/04/2026: Really bad food experience :(. The chicken in the dishes is completely red inside and the consistency is really weird. Called to tell me and was told it couldn't fit. Their chicken is good. And it can't be discolored, we were told. Bad food and bad service. P.S.

21/09/2025: Truely a hidden gem. This cafe is a charity and has great cappuccinos for 30kr! The workers are all volunteers and super interesting people. This would be a great place to host an event or play boardgames with your friends when it’s raining outside. So Hygge!

07/07/2026: The smallest and most bland pho I’ve ever had :( unfortunately also the most expensive. The chicken was also very fat, with skin and a lot of pieces were brown

03/07/2026: My family ate three meals here; the food was delicious and authentically Vietnamese. The owner and staff were all friendly. The milk tea was also great!

29/08/2025: Very good ice cream. Store a bit tucked Aay from the main thoroughfare. Worth finding. It also serves soft ice cream.

21/08/2025: Bromeo con mi familia y amigos, que soy un sumiller de helados autodesignado. Voy a probar un helado supuestamente bueno a toda costa. Tomo una generosa cantidad de cucharadas para tener una comparación en mi juicio de calidad y helado probado en muchos países diferentes ya - Danés siendo uno de mis 2 mejores junto a Italiano. Ahora - para mí este lugar es un éxito de marketing que no va junto con el sabor. Los helados eran sosos, no especiales y la tercera cucharada (anacardos) incluso carecía de cualquier sabor y tenía una textura terrible. El gofre estaba pálido, poco horneado y se rompió. . . no gracias!

03/07/2026: I think this was my 5th visit this evening, and it still is in my top 5 favorite places to eat in CPH. Every dish was amazing, the service is friendly and attentive, just an all around fabulous experience.

20/06/2026: One of the few restaurants where you’re full and still think … „‚maybe one more dish?“. It’s amazing! Fresh produce, good quality, well balanced spices. Out of 6 dishes, 4 made us say, „I could easily get 10 of these“. NOT because the portions are to small, but because it was so good! I‘ll come back to this place 100% 🙏🏻 Muchas Gracias 🍻
