14/07/2025: I’m devastated by the news that Høvlen is no-more, and that it got bought up by investors from Reffen street food. This iconic place lasted 135 years. Thanks Iben for some real hygge. And of course not forget Buster 🐾. Hope to see Høvlen getting back to what it was, but for now, I’m scared it will turn into some juice-bar.

28/12/2025: There are many Thai restaurants in Copenhagen, but it is surprisingly difficult to find places where the taste is not adapted to Danish taste buds and where the focus is on the food rather than the decor (because let's be honest: it's the food that counts). Here they hit the spot. We ordered somtam and massaman curry, and both dishes tasted authentic and exactly like in Thailand. The flavors were deep, balanced and clearly made with respect for Thai cuisine. The portions were large and satisfying. The papaya salad could have been spicier, or have the option to choose the strength like you can with other dishes, which is a huge plus 😍🌶️ We chose the restaurant spontaneously because it first appeared on Wolt, but it certainly won't be the last time. Real, delicious and spicy Thai food, so nothing but 5 stars from here ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

31/10/2025: Really good sushi for the price. Their sushi with kimchi is a favorite. Nice service and quick to inform if you have chosen a time too early!

11/10/2025: We had a party at home and of course we ordered sushi and other things online from the restaurant's website. We received our food on time, the ingredients were very fresh, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

09/09/2025: An awesome flæskestegs sandwich that is a pleasure (and sometimes a mess 😉) to eat. The smørrebrød looks creative and fresh though I haven't tried them myself. Note that this is a little place so don't expect to sit there. Order your food and go sit by the lakes for a great food with a view 😁
