31/01/2025: Great place and idea behind it, however due to bad service cannot be enjoyed entirely. I tried communal dinner which was pretty alright as taste and people around were friendly , despite a monologue of irrelevant jokes from the staff that takes nearly 15 minutes Today I am back from painting workshop and I was surprised how unwilling was the person leading it, beginning with the warning that paintings will be thrown if not collected, not showing any presence during the workshop , and making the whole joy of the activity a bit forced . The feeling of workshop experience and the painting process that is creative and valuable was not a case . It felt that the person leading is being kept against her own will in there, just waiting for us to leave / grumpy that we made a mess. I still recommend the place but I warn people to be patient with the service

20/01/2025: I give 5 stars on everything except quantity. I must say that the place is incredibly cozy and the service is almost familiar. However, I would say that in relation to the price, it is a shame that you leave hungry. I chose a Beouf Onion and there just wasn't enough to call it a meal. Usually when I order a steak I prefer to get one piece of meat and not 6-7 strips

19/01/2025: Really nice food and good service. They could accommodate 17 people. With 4 hours notice, when our otherwise planned restaurant canceled us. And we got such delicious food😊 can be recommended

31/10/2024: Yes, there is our popular fish fillet again with fries and a small salad bowl. It's a little more expensive than last year, but still just as tasty. They are two good pieces of fried fish, which sets them apart from other competitors. It is much more fish meat with a crispy breading. The fries are served crispy, with remoulade, and a bowl of carrot sticks, raisins and lemon slices. If the weather is not ideal (on Bornholm?), there is the option to dine in a large room. When the weather is good, there are enough outdoor spaces. The very friendly staff brings the ordered food to the table. There are various parking spaces available, but if there aren't enough, there are more free ones opposite, to the left of the former cannery. Various fresh fish, salads and preparations are offered from the in-house smokehouse. The fish cakes are among my most popular. It's definitely worth a visit!!

22/10/2024: Nice place, expensive but not so good food. Ordered hot smoked salmon with salad & bread. The salmon was a bit dry but good. The salad was brown-edged, the bread sparsely added and the dressing probably from a bottle of Italian dressing from the supermarket poured into a small plastic jar. We felt cheated.

18/01/2025: Fresh and very well seasoned fish and chips ! Its a classic that cant go wrong ! They have a very nice customer service , its prepared on demand and both the sauce and the fries are very well seasoned! Can't go wrong !

18/01/2025: After visiting Kronborg, we decided to head to Helsingør Street Food Market, also known as Værftets Madmarked, for lunch. The market resembles a large food court located inside a spacious warehouse, offering a variety of food vendors to choose from. After exploring the options, we were drawn to The Fish Project, thanks to their enticing sample menu displayed at the counter. We opted for the fish burger, the shrimp box, and, of course, the classic fish and chips. Each dish cost between 125 and 129 DKK. The food was freshly prepared and exceeded our expectations. The portions were generous, delicious, and accompanied by ample fries and sauce. The fish burger, in particular, was one of the best I’ve ever had. The staff, attentive and considerate, mentioned that the sauce might be slightly spicy. However, to our Asian palates, it wasn’t spicy at all—a thoughtful gesture nonetheless. The shrimp box and fish and chips were equally impressive. Served in a paper box lined with newspaper, the fish was perfectly cooked, and the shrimp batter was crispy on the outside while the shrimp inside remained tender and juicy. If you find yourself in Helsingør, this spot is a must-visit for the freshest fish and tastiest chips. While it’s not the cheapest option, it’s worth it for the quality, especially considering that food prices in Copenhagen tend to be on the higher side.

16/01/2025: Friendly waiters and nicely cooked seafood. They add 3.5% on non European cards which is a bit odd to me but maybe that’s the norm in Denmark.

11/01/2025: Great service The food was good, but nothing more than that. The main course in particular was a bit strange as the sauce was very strong, like a sauce for roast, so the fish had completely disappeared.

01/12/2024: Super oplevelse med julemenu, øl og snaps for 3 friske piger 70+ på skibet udenfor efter kaos-oplevelse på Væksthuset, hvor den bookede frokost efter Billie Elliot ikke kunne serveres.

20/11/2024: Byens bedste julefrokost får du her. Alle munde blir forkælet og mætte men det er ikke det bedste. Det bedste er atmosfæren, det blandede klientel, den flotte anretning, mågerne på toilettet og det uprætentiøse samvær som gør at man føler sig hjemme. Det her blir mit stamsted!

15/02/2025: We had a wonderful dinner at the Sticks and Sushie Restaurant! The staff was so kind and very knowledgeable about the food options and what's in the different type of foods. We had different type of Sushi and soups too! The view to see the Tivoli Garden was amazing! 10/10 recommend!

15/02/2025: Absolutely amazing, the people are so nice and the food is just perfect, also quit the big choice of foods. It is on the slightly expensive side but its absolutely worth it. Hat down to the servers were the best I've met.

14/11/2024: I gave a call to book a table for the Cristmas dinner for 13 people. I investigated the info on the website and wanted also to discuss some details on the phone. On every question I wanted to clarify, I received the answer: go to our website. And then the host said that I need to call tomorrow as they are very busy right now. Very poor level of communication to potential customers.

25/01/2025: Gorgeous food, buzzy atmosphere and wonderful service. We had the oysters, brill, fish head and mussels. All were exquisite. We will 100% be back.

25/01/2025: Typical Danish food, but not the best in the city. The taste of the fish n chips and mussels was quite disappointing. Quite noisy restaurant. The sourdough bread with seaweed butter that they gave us as a courtesy was very delicious.

18/01/2025: Really delicious food, and something for every taste. If you are just a little hungry, the place is perfect, as they have many delicious small snacks that can be combined according to hunger/need. And no one looks askance at you if you just order two snacks and a draft beer. In general, the staff are really nice, unpretentious and very professional and service minded. It is a pleasure to be received and served at Knuds (and there are many restaurants where this is not a matter of course). Last note: although their wine and beer list is good, don't fool yourself into tasting their homemade sodas. Mom!!
