15/02/2025: Dejlig oplevelse hos Brasseriet i Gilleleje! Vi nød en lækker 5-retters menu, hvor hver ret var smukt præsenteret og lavet med kvalitetsråvarer. Smagene var velafstemte, og man kunne virkelig mærke kærligheden til madlavningen. Betjeningen var imødekommende og opmærksom, hvilket gjorde oplevelsen endnu bedre. Stemningen i restauranten var hyggelig og afslappet – et perfekt sted til en skøn aften. Kan varmt anbefales! Pour nos amis touristes francais qui viennent à Gilleleje: Très belle expérience au restaurant Brasseriet à Gilleleje Nous avons dégusté un délicieux menu en 5 services, où chaque plat était magnifiquement présenté et préparé avec des ingrédients de qualité. Les saveurs étaient parfaitement équilibrées, et on sentait vraiment la passion pour la cuisine. Le service était attentionné et chaleureux, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus agréable. L’ambiance du restaurant était conviviale et détendue – l’endroit idéal pour une belle soirée. Je recommande vivement !

03/03/2025: Nos quedamos muy decepcionados con el restaurante. La comida estaba tan mezclada. La galleta era un plato de espuma, los raviolis de langostinos no tenían sabor alguno... El plato principal de bacalao estaba bien! Todos tenemos muy buen paladar y el servicio y la comida no cumplieron con nuestras expectativas! ¡Sentía que no podían ser molestados! ¡Mi yerno pidió una cerveza que entró plana! Tuvimos que devolverlo. Era una celebración de cumpleaños y no tuvimos ningún toque especial aunque se mencionó en la reserva. El restaurante más decepcionante que hemos estado en Copenhague! Definitivamente no recomendaría : ( (

03/03/2025: Une ambiance très élégante et un accueil vraiment très agréable. J’ai été aussi bien reçu que servi, le jeune homme a été très sympathique et avenant… J’ai personnellement pris la formule à 425DKK, 3 plats pointilleusement équilibrés entre douceur acidité et fumé (peu être un très léger manque de cuisson sur les légumes du deuxième plat mais je pense que c’est aussi des préférences personnelles), le dessert aussi délicieux 🫶🏻 Au plaisir de savoir ce que vous penserez de « faire chabrot » comme nos anciens font en France ainsi qu’un « canard » (le sucre imbibé de cognac) Je rentre avec vos amitiés en France avec le plaisir de vous avoir adressé les miennes hier soir 🤝

23/03/2025: Very good sushi and on the affordable side! We came in without a reservation and we were seated straight away even if it was pretty busy, on a Saturday night. The macha chai was also very good and had a nice presentation.

31/10/2024: Yes, there is our popular fish fillet again with fries and a small salad bowl. It's a little more expensive than last year, but still just as tasty. They are two good pieces of fried fish, which sets them apart from other competitors. It is much more fish meat with a crispy breading. The fries are served crispy, with remoulade, and a bowl of carrot sticks, raisins and lemon slices. If the weather is not ideal (on Bornholm?), there is the option to dine in a large room. When the weather is good, there are enough outdoor spaces. The very friendly staff brings the ordered food to the table. There are various parking spaces available, but if there aren't enough, there are more free ones opposite, to the left of the former cannery. Various fresh fish, salads and preparations are offered from the in-house smokehouse. The fish cakes are among my most popular. It's definitely worth a visit!!

01/04/2025: I specifically went for the ribbenssteg. It was so good, crispy, salty and juicy. 10/10. I'd go back daily if I could.

12/04/2025: I loved this take on the fish and chips. It’s not the traditional beer batter, but more of a tempura style. The fries are really good, the thick grandma ones, with a tangy vinegar salt which perfectly matched the sea taste. The mushy peas were ok, nothing outstanding. Fresh fish and good service.

06/04/2025: Ok food for the price. Came out suspiciously quick (6 minutes)..... Looks like food gets refried. Don't like how a tip was automatically added & input into the card machine, so we couldnt choose etc. Didn't realise until after we paid. Wouldn't mind if it was great service, but it was nothing special. Portions are small, just be mindful. Probably wouldn't recommend ..... Tostada was nice....

28/03/2025: Fish is really fresh and well-prepared but for this price I would expect more. It is, as the name tells, a bar. Main course is just a fish, no sauce, and side dishes are the same for all portions on the menu.

28/03/2025: Despite being told a few weeks in advance of one of our party's dietary restrictions, no attempt was made to take account of them. Sometimes, that's fair enough, but we should have been made aware of this before we went to the restaurant and we could have made alternative arrangements. Also, what is this natural wine thing?!! The one we had was almost undrinkable..... but apparently our fault for ordering it. Again, fair enough, but maybe they should warn english people of a certain age!

Her er det tydeligt, at kærligheden til det lokale miljø og råvarerne er i centrum. Maden? lad mig sige det sådan, at hver ret er tilberedt med omhu og passion, og lad os ikke glemme den smukke beliggenhed! Med sin charmerende atmosfære er dette stedet, hvor man virkelig kan slappe af og nyde sin mad, der er både prisvenligt og af høj kvalitet – en sjælden kombination i dagens verden Vi vender altid tilbage til Knud med glæde, for det er ikke bare et måltid; det er en oplevelse, der får os til at føle os hjemme. Tak til hele holdet for at gøre hver besøgsoplevelse så unik og mindeværdig! Vi glæder os allerede til vores næste besøg – og vi kan knap vente med at se, hvad de finder på næste gang 🙌

18/01/2025: Really delicious food, and something for every taste. If you are just a little hungry, the place is perfect, as they have many delicious small snacks that can be combined according to hunger/need. And no one looks askance at you if you just order two snacks and a draft beer. In general, the staff are really nice, unpretentious and very professional and service minded. It is a pleasure to be received and served at Knuds (and there are many restaurants where this is not a matter of course). Last note: although their wine and beer list is good, don't fool yourself into tasting their homemade sodas. Mom!!
