17/11/2024: Always a treat to visit Knud in lovely Hundested. From the moment one opens the door to this restaurant one knows the quality and service in this place are top notch. Food is just delicious, with attention to detail, flavor, presentation and quality.
22/10/2024: My wife and I spent our wedding anniversary there. It wasn't full, but we are also at the end of October and a Monday 🤗 We arrived a little early, but there was still room for us. The evening started with drinks and conversation before the meal. Drinks were delicious and an appropriate size. The food was really good. I got whole raw lobster that really tasted good and was perfectly cooked. We also got a nice white wine, which was recommended by our server Nadia, who is currently studying and will later train as a sommelier. However, she had a good understanding of which types of wine were appropriate 👍 In addition to that, she was a really sweet and welcoming waiter who had situational awareness and knew how to be on the spot when you needed it. We ended with the "Exit kit" which was also delicious. Everything can be seen in the attached photo, but not Nadia. You must drive her to Knud to meet 👌🤭 we will definitely come again 😁

10/09/2024: My mother and I went there to drink coffee and eat cake, although my mother only drank one water because she was sick from the crossing. So we asked twice for 1 piece of white bread to combat the nausea, which eventually came. As we left I asked the blonde waitress how much we had to pay for the bread. The waitress said get in line, it's not your turn yet.
In between, another waitress came and asked me if she could help and I asked her the same thing. Whereupon she said you didn't have to pay, but then the blonde came and demanded €5 for the slice of white bread. I said outrageous, but she didn't care. I told the other waitress and she just shook her head and confirmed that it was a rip off.
I will never go there again, thanks for the hospitable impression.

18/10/2024: Unfortunately, it did not live up to our expectations. The service was good but unfortunately everything else was not worth writing home about. I ordered a piece of smørrebrød with fish fillet and fresh prawns. The prawns were fine but the fish was not fresh and came from the freezer and had been in the fryer instead of the pan. We cannot recommend until the kitchen gets an upgrade

Gillelejes absolut bedste spise sted.
Lander man i krostuens til frokost, for man en vidunderlig følelse i maven af hygge, som vi elsker det som danskere. Spiser man middag i restauranten, mødes man af professionalisme og luksus. Dette sted bliver man forkælet og man forlader altid stedet, med en mæt mave, og et smil på læben.

Alle der besøger Gilleleje bør tage forbi til en frokost, en drink, eller en middag med lidt god vin til.

21/10/2024: Boring food and have never seen a sun over Gudhjem where it wasn't smoked herring. Expensive and a place we will definitely not come back to.
12/10/2024: Worst fish fillet I've had DKK 108. What a tacky, unfinished fish that looks like something from a freezer. Tasted like dough. Maybe you should visit Adams fish in Gilleleje or arnager smokehouse, which is freshly home-made and cheaper
