06/11/2025: Wow! Got a homemade pita bread with kebab. The bread was made to order and was really delicious. Good meat, fresh vegetables and good dressing. They had six (6!) different chili dressings to choose from. I'm not a fan of chili myself, but was persuaded to have some "sweet chili dressing". It was good and I asked for more. Other customers mentioned "olive chili" and "pineapple chili", and the latter was especially praised. The place is very small, so not really room to sit/stand and eat on the spot, especially if there is a bit of a queue. Unfortunately I don't live in the city otherwise I would have found myself a new favorite kebab.

17/09/2025: What a place! Hidden behind a row of shops is Lydolph's Ice Cream Bar. We enjoyed the best ice cream here in years. The elderly owner was really friendly and gave us good advice, which was necessary given the sometimes quite large portions. Great ice cream and soft serve. We hope to return soon.

28/08/2025: Best Soft-Ice I had until now. Really fair Prices and huge Cups / Cones of ICE Cream. Super nice Service from the Old man. Every Year after our Knuthornborg Safari Park visit, we Take the extra Route of 1 hour on our way top the Rodby Ferry to geht Lydolphs excellent Ice

04/07/2025: Great steak place. Hence the name... We got shrimp cocktail in a small frying pan with avocado and pickled ginger?? I thought I was wrong. It's an unusual side dish that belongs in a sushi restaurant. The steak was better fried on the side facing the plate. The steak is the main item and covered all the stewed vegetables... I still wonder what a raw radish was doing in the middle of my mimis bowl with mashed potatoes. We already met that radish in the appetizer, so that repetition was a free kick against the place. 😆 The service was sweet, attentive and good. The food came within the allowed 20 minutes which is standard for a la carte. The Bearnaise came in a portion prepared sauce pot, it was a bit difficult to get all the sauce out... Good thick Bearnaise. My steak lacked salt and spices, that kind of thing should be fried with, as it gives a better taste. The garlic bread looked nice, crispy and delicious, but the taste was lacking.. The fried green pepper, went again like the radish... There is room for improvement and a professional 😎. They still get 4 stars from here... And we will definitely come again.

04/10/2025: A real pleasure. So many nuances of flavor in every bite that fit together perfectly. There is really great attention to detail without it just being 2-beans-over-cross; you actually end up pleasantly full too. Not the last time I come here.

04/09/2025: We were here on August 21st with my sister and brother-in-law who live in Denmark. We who come from Norway and Lillehammer were greeted by a very nice waiter who was happy to find us a fantastic table right by the harbor since it was raining. We had a lovely red wine and a fantastically delicious meal, they know how to cook. We finished with lovely coffee and creme brulee. Really recommendable
