19/07/2025: Great cozy cafe with good iced coffee and service. We sat out on the street where you can also park your motorcycle (or car). They have a cozy courtyard you can also sit in. A year later we are back again after a motorcycle trip and it is just as cozy here for dinner and coffee.

18/07/2025: Very friendly place. Danish-style calm. Very warm welcome. The menu is offered in Danish, but the waitress took the time to explain everything to us while sitting down next to us. Original, isn't it?

08/08/2025: This was out first smørrebrød experience, and we're now big fans. There were loads of different options, we chose three and were very pleased. The menu recommended 2 dishes per person but we shared 3 between the two of us and we were stuffed. The service was kind and quick, and the atmosphere was bright and airy. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Also, for hot chocolate lovers: they have one of the best ones I've ever tasted.

04/07/2025: Great steak place. Hence the name... We got shrimp cocktail in a small frying pan with avocado and pickled ginger?? I thought I was wrong. It's an unusual side dish that belongs in a sushi restaurant. The steak was better fried on the side facing the plate. The steak is the main item and covered all the stewed vegetables... I still wonder what a raw radish was doing in the middle of my mimis bowl with mashed potatoes. We already met that radish in the appetizer, so that repetition was a free kick against the place. 😆 The service was sweet, attentive and good. The food came within the allowed 20 minutes which is standard for a la carte. The Bearnaise came in a portion prepared sauce pot, it was a bit difficult to get all the sauce out... Good thick Bearnaise. My steak lacked salt and spices, that kind of thing should be fried with, as it gives a better taste. The garlic bread looked nice, crispy and delicious, but the taste was lacking.. The fried green pepper, went again like the radish... There is room for improvement and a professional 😎. They still get 4 stars from here... And we will definitely come again.

04/08/2025: The best place in Roskilde to get a bagel. Fresh ingredients, nice staff and cozy outside seating areas. (I’d probably stick to takeaway when the weather is cold tho 😉)

26/06/2025: Practice practice really boring experience, order 2 bagels in dark bread, 1 with chicken and 1 with tuna. Drive 15 km from Roskilde and find when we get home, 2 chicken bagels in light bread. No tuna

16/08/2025: There are many young people crowding on the street on Friday evening, there's no room to stand inside the tiny kebab house where two large smiling men sweat over hot plates. Everyone waits their turn to pick up their bags full of freshly cooked goodies. The falafels are fine, served in large chunks of durum bread piled with salad and chili of course (in varying strengths). It's a full meal at a very reasonable price.

01/08/2025: CLEARLY in the Top 3 Kebabs we've ever had! I'll drive 1h to Roskilde next time the need for Kebab arise - the, on the spot, homemade pita (or durum) is just the beginning! The meat is really yummi and the toppings are fresh like, REALLY, fresh! The chili comes in a variety of degrees of hot (to 🔥🥵) but when paired with the tzatziki sauce and hummus it all blends into this super delicious Pita Kebab that is out of this world! The guys take care of you - and sort you out when you (or your family) is confused about what to order! Thank you and see you again! RECOMMENDED!!

17/08/2025: Stopped by for a beer and cocktails in the sunshine, and had a lovely time sitting in the courtyard. I would have liked a little less mainstream products on tap, but at least there is a good collection in bottles.

23/07/2025: Wokshop is a fantastically beautiful restaurant. The waiters were polite and helpful. The food was exquisite, perfectly cooked. We ordered a share menu for 375 kr each. My girlfriend was vegetarian, and they were able to make a vegetarian version for her and a regular one for me. In addition, we wanted to swap one of the main courses for a red curry dish, which they also agreed to. I think we were even allowed to swap one more dish. They were so understanding and flexible, more than could be expected. The price compared to the quality of the food was really good. Under 1,000 kr for a 6 to 8 course menu. It wasn't our plan to eat anything special, but it ended up tempting and made our experience something very special. We definitely want to come back!

20/07/2025: Super delicious food 👌🏻 we chose the menu so we could try something different without having to think too much 😂 spicy enough, we opted out of extra chili. The service was great - the waiter explained everything and really seemed like she had the menu under control 👍🏻 The only thing that drags down is that others smoke outside - not so delicious in the food, but of course hard to avoid..

12/08/2025: Really good experience. Skilled and knowledgeable waiter who understands needs and mood. Really delicious food. Atmosphere gets four stars, as there was only one other table occupied. However, it was a Tuesday when we were there - so it's probably a lot better on other days...

16/04/2025: Always delicious ice cream and with the refrigerated display cases there is a great selection of, among other things. cheeses you can buy to take home. I bought an Øko Nielsen Havarti, and if you are umami, it was good 😲

10/08/2025: Idyllisk sted på landet som er super interessant historisk også. Vi havde Tscherninssuiten, intet at klage over der, pænt og moderne. Nogle rum er dog ganske små og uden toilet. Vi havde bestilt kroophold med tre retter mad. En gastronomisk oplevelse i forhold til sidst, vi var der. Herren der betjente os var ganske professionel, venlig, imødekommende og vi følte os godt tilpas. I det hele taget var servicen god. Vi fik for øvrigt frokost inden aften, en stor og god kvalitet fiskefilet. Og morgenmaden faldt absolut også i vores smag.

09/08/2025: Vi kom uden de store forventninger da vi havde hørt godt om stedet, men ikke så meget mere. Vi bliver budt ud i den hyggeligste slå lille baghave, hvor betjeningen hurtig var til stede, og spurgte lidt ind til hvad vi skulle have. Vi havde bestilt 3 retters, men besluttede yderligere at nuppe deres velkomstdrink og 3 forretter hver. Fuldstændig blæst bagover af de 3 forretter der kun kan beskrives som smagsbomber kom vi videre til de 3 mest fantastiske retter. Stemningen trods et større selvskab ved siden af, var nede på jorden og ejeren/chefen selv var også til at find iblandt betjeningen. Vi har allerede anbefalet stedet til 20+, det er virkelig en perle.

05/05/2025: Dejlig restaurant med fint frokostkort. Søde folk og god mad. Skøn beliggenhed ved havnen og med gode p-muligheder tæt på.

26/04/2025: We got take away Good Friday with the family from you. In any case, it was nothing to write home about. On the contrary 😭😵‍💫🥴. . Even the herring was dry and boring. The only positive thing was the meatballs, they were delicious. Everything else from the "Easter table" menu was dry and really boring, oops
