06/10/2025: A super nice place in the forest by the lake with a cozy atmosphere. The food was absolutely fantastic and most of it was homemade. Draft beer from Møn and delicious special schnapps that went perfectly with the herring. 😍

02/07/2026: Delicious cake and excellent coffee. The food (burgers or smørrebrød) is freshly prepared and served at the table. Friendly service; despite the café being full, there was no rush.

02/07/2026: We had lunch here. And it was a good experience. Really good. Sweet service and food that is made properly and with attitude. Their open sandwich with pulled chicken was excellent. Good local beer. Nice

05/10/2025: Best cafe in Køge. High quality food at reasonable prices. Always welcoming staff with a good mood. Will miss Cafe ML so much. and not least the staff. Too bad that bad concept eateries will soon fill most of Køge. Hope Cafe More Living returns another time. Thank you for your time at Køge Torv.

09/09/2025: Definitely recommended, got a spinach waffle with hot smoked salmon, looked very inviting and tasted really good and they have some super good rum balls that you can take home with your coffee.

30/06/2026: This was way above what I expected but granted, I'm not a person that finds fine dining the only viable way of living. I recommend the salmon pasta and the bearnaise burger highly! And just the entire experience of taking in a city that seldom gets a visit.

24/06/2026: We ended up here during our holiday; only one table on the terrace was occupied, and inside there were at most three people. The staff presumably had a bad day or didn't feel like working, but we really sat there for nothing. The staff did see us but took no initiative to do anything, even after we asked for their attention several times. Never experienced anything like this in Denmark. Truly scandalously bad; we therefore got up and went to a lunch spot where they actually pay attention to their customers.

16/12/2025: Really good food from Schous and service was top notch, we thought there was music for dancing.

15/04/2026: Very reasonable barbecue. I love the classic barbecue bar, and it's good to have something you're good at. Their barbecue chicken is much better than average. I don't order it myself, my better half does. All in all, authentic and as expected.

21/06/2026: Lovely outdoor atmosphere by the water with jellyfish floating by. Yummy egg avocado sandwiches and pesto pasta. Strangely no tap water available (we like to refill our water bottles on a bike trip!).
