29/07/2025: Nice place, good acoustics so it's not too noisy. Nice waiters and meat masters. I came down to take advantage of the sparerib offer, but they didn't have enough spareribs, so I got the big buffet for the offer price; really good service.

18/05/2025: A small cozy restaurant with staff who do their best to give customers a good experience. We had the dish of the day which was well prepared.

14/05/2025: I love that place 🤩 Café liv is run by a resident with a staff that exudes coziness and warmth... there are only a few seats, but there are lights and tablecloths on the tables - and a "seagull cup" for your coffee, if you're lucky. Not new tables or anything you see elsewhere. Everything is completely unique and a place you leave with a smile on your face - see you later

23/08/2025: The coziest place, sweet service and tasty cakes 🍰 Idyllic little place on Orø where you feel welcome at the couple who own this little café. You can sit outside or inside, the weather was perfect for sitting out in the garden. You order from the day's delicious selection and it will be served. You can buy small delicious specialties in the shop. Delicious cakes and great coffee, we will be happy to come again.

We are a bunch of people who have been there 4-5 times before, eaten really well, had a lot of "Fis Fest og Balade" But that's probably because we are Sons of Sasha, yes yes and we are looking forward to giving you all a cool Music Rock Show again. 17/08/2025: Super delicious brunch. First thought was that it wasn't that much, BUT so delicious and well balanced, so just the right amount of food. Really nice service. We like the decoration with flowers and birds. Sat outside in the sun and enjoyed the food. Recommended.

19/05/2025: Vi holdt fælles tapasfrokost og havde stedet for os selv da vi var 23 personer. Det var super lækkert mad og Christian var med til at det blev både meget hyggeligt og en afslappet stemning. Kan varmt anbefale Tango Tapas cafe’.

01/09/2025: Stopped here on our way to catch the ferry. Was a quiet night in the restaurant.My food size was HUGE, had to take the leftover home. Service was fast and staff very polite. Would visit again

09/09/2025: I ate at the restaurant with three people on Sunday and it was a pretty positive experience. We each had one starter and all three were perfect. The lamb crown with what I think was a red wine sauce tasted heavenly and my guests' entrecote was delicious. We drank a bottle of Oro which was absolutely worth its price. Will definitely come back Unfortunately the fish was already sold out that evening but we were also late

28/07/2025: Visited in July 2025. We had the "lyst og trygt" 10 course lunch menu and the psykel pairing, which included 1 glass of wine and 3 of kombucha. The food was good, beautifully presented, and it felt like every dish told a story. You could almost feel Claus Henriksen's enthusiasm and passion for food in every course, from the food to the ceramics used for serving, which he makes himself. It was great to see him around the dining room a lot and I am sorry that I did not get to say "tak for mad" before heading home. With menus with many courses, usually some courses shine and some are less interesting. In the menu we had here, the food was reliable - tasty, excellently cooked, an amazing show of skill. However, while Mota served me the best onion I've ever eaten, it was still an onion, so I can't go as far as to say that this was the best food I've ever had. The venue itself is beautiful - I loved all the wooden elements and the ceramics. The kombucha was excellent, interesting, and complemented the food nicely. Finally, service was good, professional and timely. I can definitely see why Mota has a Michelin star - it is an experience worth a (short) trip to a beautiful area. I'd be happy to come back and see what Claus comes up with in a different season.

27/06/2025: Vi kommer ofte på Cafe Mikkel da det er god mad, dejlige lokaler, og når vejret er til det dejligt at man kan side ude. Betjeningen er altid høflig og venlig, DOG IKKE torsdag 26. juni, hvor en kvindelig tjener omkring de 50 år virkelig viste en ikke høflig og venlig tone over for 2 af vores nabo bordes gæster. Folk var meget overrasket over tonen, det burde ikke være nødvendigt. Godt nok var der en del gæster, men så heller ikke værre. De unge tjenere var som altid flinke og service minded.
