09/02/2025: Absolutely fresh sushi and the sweetest and best service. I was with my daughter and granddaughter and there was time and energy for a talkative 4-year-old. She was considered a guest like the rest of us adults. We have often had take away from there, but this will not be the last time I eat there

Fresh, well-prepared 'Danish/Western' sushi. Large selection, friendly and accommodating service. Surprised to find such good and especially fresh quality in Nykøbing S.
Reasonable prices and above all a local business worth supporting. Can definitely be recommended.

27/08/2024: Visited the smokehouse - which is a wonderful dining experience. Come home with hot smoked salmon, hot smoked trout, cold smoked salmon and finally some fish fillets with homemade remoulade 😊

26/02/2025: So where I just passed by again. It turns into the fantastic tenderloin pot again, it tastes like birds are singing, it will be a big yes thank you from here. And then the service is incredibly helpful. I got help all the way to the car with the food. It's definitely worth a visit. PS and you hold many live events 🥳👍🥂🎈🇩🇰. Pss and it also doesn't help that there is an ice house right next door and a fantastic view.

14/01/2025: Cozy café with cakes, bread, delicious handmade cream buns and ice cream. Really good coffee in big mugs. Also sale of delicacies and textiles. Friendly and welcoming staff. Definitely worth a visit.
08/12/2024: Visited the place a few weeks ago where we ordered apple slices and mulled wine. The mulled wine tasted fine, but the apple slices were hard as rocks, and should never have been served to us. The fact that you, as a shopkeeper, do not have any kind of quality control of what is served is a mystery to me. We avoided paying DKK 10. per person for the apple slices. Later regretted that we even agreed to pay for them, as they were right for the bin. Don't even think the birds would have eaten them!

05/04/2025: Vi fik begge en rigtig god middag/ret og selvom der var mange besøgende var ventetiden kort. Sødt personale. Kan kun anbefale Det Mexikanske bøfhus.
27/03/2025: Hvis man besøger stedet, er det udelukkende for kødet. Medarbejderne virker uengagerede, de har ikke styr på menukortet, og priserne er helt ude af proportioner. 100 kr. for fire små stykker brød med lidt ost og 37 kr. for at få det serveret sammen med hovedretten – selvom det så først ankommer, når man er halvvejs igennem måltidet🤣Derudover bliver der ikke dækket op, og man skal selv bede om bestik. Alt i alt en skuffende første oplevelse – og desværre også den sidste.

01/01/2025: Usually very excited about the place. Good food, nice surroundings. That's why we ordered the New Year's menu.
The starter was acceptable despite the fact that the green decoration had faded and from there it was so poor that it became unacceptable. The meat was tender and the potato gratin was heavy and tasteless. No greenery (which we should have checked). We didn't eat the desserts - they were tasteless and it would have been cheaper/better to buy a pie in the shop.
DKK 500 with bread for it! just not good enough
