11/08/2025: Very tasty and fresh baguettes, especially the smoked salmon baguette, is highly recommended. A delicious combination of salmon, red cabbage, tomatoes, and sauce. The price is reasonable for a wholesome meal, and the service is pleasant and friendly. Keep it up!

13/09/2025: Found this incredible place a few years ago. Exciting with the different departments and the fantastic location... BUT what happened to the amazing food that was famous before.? Now it's just a sad cafeteria with a big kitchen... Boring dishes and sad cakes... And where is the exciting museum shop? There should be 10 stars, but you only get 1..! Hope things can change again. It's too sad otherwise..!

20/09/2025: Snekken is a cozy restaurant, with a great location on a boat club, with a view over the water and to the Farøbroen. Polite service who is not afraid of a nice chat while ordering the food. We told a story about some of the wine as in the restaurant. The food is excellent and the portions were generous! Can definitely be recommended when you have been on a trip around the castle museum.

I had noodles with chicken, tom yum soup, and breaded shrimp. Very delicious.
My sweetheart had sushi 3 different kinds, she is usually hard to impress, but not tonight.

It has a good amount of everything in it.
Also good service.
11/07/2025: OK kebab, but not much more than that. The chicken kebab is heated from a pre-bought bag on the freezer.
The atmosphere at the place is a bit meh, the cart is located in a not so nice or cozy area of Vordingborg.

29/07/2025: Quite nice sandwiches, a bit thin after they are toasted. But they don't skimp on the filling, which seems fresh. It's clean and the service was nice. A menu with a sandwich, 0.5l soda and fries for 139 is a nice price.

17/10/2025: I have never paid so much for such a small shooting star. There was more mayonnaise (dressing) than there was fish.
No, I have to ask for the Fasaneriet 😍.
14/10/2025: My wife and I were there for lunch on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
Ordered a shooting star and a herring dish as well as a drink. The service of the young people was ok, and the food came very quickly.
However, it was not possible to get 2 fried fish fillets instead of one fried and one steamed! Was told that everything was made in advance. So it is not prepared while you wait 🤔, which you could also see and taste.
The herring is 'Christian's ø Sild', which is always good.
There are also some shrimp and various dips on and next to it.
The shock is the salad, for both dishes. Green salad, where the edges are black, slimy and therefore spoiled 🫣. Get hold of a waiter, and then suggest that they give the coffee for free. We don't hear about that anymore! Get coffee and cake, which is just ok.
When the government comes, the coffee is on anyway. Pointing out the problem again, but there is nothing we can do about it.
Yes, that sounds very strange.
When we leave, we hear through another conversation that the head chef is not there that day. I don't think he/she would have served us this lunch.
I can't recommend the place based on our experience.
