16/01/2026: Beautiful place. They make the most delicious pizzas. The staff is sweet, friendly and the service level is high.

09/01/2026: This is a all you can eat buffet $228 per person cold drinks not included but tea, coffee etc is. I really enjoyed coming here, I shouted my family who have hosted me in Denmark dinner at the buffet plus drinks it was $800 KR for the entire table which in NZD I felt wasn’t bad it would be about $70 per person, we were recommended to go here. The Mongolian barbecue wow!! You can pick whatever you’d like and they will cook it for you, looks like heaps on plate before cooked then of course shrinks, this was my favourite part, I didn’t get to the sushi table, My favourite dishes are boa buns and dim sims, I definitely do not recommend these here from The pull out draw, it was like warm to cold in the middle and rubbery and lots all stuck together, I wasn’t risking that, the rest of the things I tried were enjoyable. I would go back here definitely! Ice cream, cheesecake and a cookie of some sort, coconut was on offer for dessert and the self serve coffee machine also does hot chocolate and you can have tea also. Super helpful and friendly staff as well. Good experience in a foreign country.

24/12/2025: Perfect Chinese buffet. Huge selection. All good quality. If you're not into Chinese buffets, this is probably not the place for you.

11/08/2025: Very tasty and fresh baguettes, especially the smoked salmon baguette, is highly recommended. A delicious combination of salmon, red cabbage, tomatoes, and sauce. The price is reasonable for a wholesome meal, and the service is pleasant and friendly. Keep it up!

15/11/2025: Had a steak from the a la carte section of the menu. The steak was a little overcooked but the portion was adequate, the salad and sautéed vegetables were good and the gorgonzola sauce was the icing on the cake. The staff was very service minded and friendly

The staff was friendly and the service was quick. The whole place had a cozy atmosphere that made the experience even better. Definitely coming back again!

16/11/2025: I needed 12 sandwiches for the company, as we were sending a colleague on maternity leave. On Friday I was told that I could certainly order, but that I would have to pay extra for delivery to Stenløse. We really wanted that. But on Sunday we were told that they couldn't deliver anyway, as they don't make such "long" trips. Fortunately, SPRØD in Roskilde was able to help – even with the short notice that it suddenly was.

11/12/2025: I keep coming back here. It's cozy and the food is spot on. A little sour fact about their beverage selection: They have Belgian Trappist beer… on tap! 😀 The Affligem Double is especially tasty if you like that kind of thing. I'll be back. 🙂

20/12/2025: A restaurant that knows what it’s doing♥️ The location by the water already sets a special tone, but what really makes the difference is the atmosphere inside: warm, elegant and relaxed, especially appreciated on a winter evening. The staff was present, attentive and professional in a very natural way, (I loved the uniforms!!) you feel welcomed, not managed. That balance is not easy to achieve, and here it works. The lamb was beautifully prepared. Perfectly cooked, with a delicate sear on the outside and a soft, tender texture inside that almost melts. The meat had depth and character, clearly high quality, and treated with respect. (To be Argentinian that’s a lot to say) The sauce was rich yet restrained, supporting the lamb instead of competing with it. Just perfect! Every element on the plate made sense. The asparagus brought freshness and a subtle earthy bite, keeping the dish light despite its richness. The herbs were not just decorative, they added aroma and lifted the entire plate, creating balance and clarity in each bite. The pairing with Peñafalcón, Ribera del Duero (304 days in oak) was an excellent choice. The wine has structure and elegance, with round tannins and a smooth, velvety texture that matched the lamb perfectly. The oak aging adds warmth and complexity without overpowering the food, allowing both the dish and the wine to shine together. (I don’t know much about wines, but this one was amazing) Even the salad was handled with intention: fresh, clean and light, exactly what was needed to reset the palate. Snekken is a place that understands restraint, balance and hospitality. Nothing feels forced or overdone, just good food, thoughtful pairings, a beautiful setting and a team that clearly cares. A restaurant run with confidence and heart. Maybe a place for celebrate my next birthday 😊

06/12/2025: The worst Christmas lunch I have ever been to, regarding food and service. Food was constantly missing from the table, and the food that was of extremely poor quality, for example meatballs were bagged, the rye bread was the cheapest you can find, fish fillets dry and tough, pork roast which was rib roast that was filled with gristle, was like rubber, employees who either didn't care or had no idea how things should be managed, can only say STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE, If there were zero stars, there would have been, but the price was only a cover price of 850, - including free bar TSK TSK

14/01/2026: If I was impressed! I was the absolutely worst buffet ever encountered! I've done a five hundred to a thousand buffets. Avoid, Avoid, avoid!!!!!!

27/10/2025: I was there for the dinning weekend - it was a nice experience. We got many small dishes, served in small glasses - a fun and good way to experience a lot of interesting and good flavors

16/10/2025: I visited Restaurant Surt & Sødt in Nakskov during DiningWeek, and it was a really wonderful experience. The food was well-prepared, exciting and beautifully presented, with good flavor combinations from start to finish. The staff were incredibly nice, smiling and attentive, and you felt really welcome. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and relaxed, and the service was top notch. All in all, a fantastic experience that I can highly recommend – I'm already looking forward to coming back! 🌟
